Magic Tracks are race car tracks for kids that can be bent into any shape you choose. The pieces of each track will glow in the dark, and each comes with a translucent car containing five LED lights that'll make it glow, too. Once you're done using your track for the time being, it'll roll up to save you storage space, and all tracks come with a carrying case that can be worn as a backpack.

How It Works

Magic Tracks operate by virtue of serpentine technology that enables them to bend and curve in any direction. You'll be able to swivel your track around furniture and even up and over it ( or any other objects ) if you want to create bridges or steep curves. Moreover, if you decide that you'd like to alter your track as your car is travelling, you'll be able to quickly move pieces in and out in order to change the track's direction.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Attach Pieces Together

    To begin, attach any of the individual track pieces together until you've created a track of your desired length, and turn off the lights if you want to see your track glow.

  2. Launch Race Car

    After you've created your track, it'll be time to launch your race car along that track. However, you may want to decorate the car with some of the included decals before you let it go.

  3. Roll up When Done

    Once you're done racing for the day, if you don't want to pull all your track pieces apart, you can simply roll the track up in a spiral. When rolled up, it'll be small enough to be stored virtually anywhere.

Features

  • 12 Foot Track

    WIth the 240 track pieces that come in each Magic Tracks set, you'll be able to create a track that's up to 12 feet in length.

  • Four Piece Colors

    Track pieces come in yellow, orange, green, and blue, and pieces of all shades glow in the dark.

  • Car Lights up

    The race car you'll get with your set will light up, due to the five LED lights built into each one. Since LED lightbulbs tend to last longer than the bulbs within other types of lights, the car may not lose this capability for years.

  • Decals Included

    Included in each set are a group of decals that you can use to decorate your race car so it looks unique. You'll be able to choose from a wide variety of decal options, such as a happy face, a heart, and a grouping of music notes.

  • Portable

    Every track comes with a royal blue travel pouch that will hold your rolled-up track and the accompanying car when you want to transport it outside your home. The pouch has straps, so it can be worn as a knapsack. Of course, if you'd like to carry your track in a different backpack, a suitcase, or even a large handbag, it'll fit in these, too.

❝Don't be surprised when you DON'T get 200 track pieces like advertised! I ordered 2.... thinking that I was getting 400..separate interlocking track pieces...you actually get 20 interlocking track pieces! Each track piece has 10 narrow pieces locked together.(20x10=200.)......that don't come apart.... making one interlocking track piece.... equaling 200!!!❞

❝There's 4 bags with 5 track pieces in each bag. Not even enough track in 2 orders to make a half way decent size track!!! So disappointed. I got these for two of my grandsons but now I have to give both of the orders to only one of them in order for him to even have fun with it!!! The pic is one track piece and the little notches on the side are the 10 pieces that hold that track piece together.

Alternatives

  • Standard Race Tracks

    Standard race tracks may be fun for awhile, but since they don't bend or glow like Magic Tracks, you may get bored with them quite quickly. Unlike Magic Tracks, they can also be difficult to store, as they do not roll up and therefore may take up a lot of shelf space.

WARNING

  • The tracks do not glow.
  • It is the car that glows in the dark and when it drives around the tracks it presents the illusion that the neo tracks glow in the dark. This effect still looks cool, but often disappoints customers who were expecting the tracks to glow.

Amazon Alternatives

  • "Glow in The Dark Track"

    This appears to be a no-name brand track; however, has received nothing but positive reviews. Included are 228 Flexible Track Pieces, battery operated car and a gate with other accessories pictured. Just be aware that although it claims to have glow in the dark track pieces, chances are they are not as "glow in the dark" as you would expect. The majority of the light will come from the led found in the car.

  • Twister Tracks Trax 360

    Made by Mindscope, this set offers the ability for cars to travel on a "360" degree loop. It averages 3.5/5 Stars and is the #1 Best Seller in the Toy Train Set Tracks category on Amazon. We have not personally tested this track; however, based on the excellent reviews it has received, TVStuffReviews recommends this track to anyone who likes the concept of "Magic Tracks" but does not wish to purchase the As Seen on TV race set.

  • Magic Tracks 220-Piece Glowing Track Set

    If you look below, a lot of customers have made complaints about Magic Tracks not living up to their expectations. The TV commercial makes this toy look like the toy of the year, when in reality, it is a cheap racetrack that has a car which lights up. Call a spade a spade. None-the-less, kids will love this racetrack.

    The number once complaint you will find below is from people not receiving their order in a reasonable time frame when ordering from the Official site or 1-800 number. On 1 Jan 2017 Magic Tracks was listed as the #1 Best seller of all Toy Vehicle Playsets on Amazon.

Ripoff

Advertised on TV as buy one set for $19.99 and get second set free. Company actually charged me $39.98 twice! There is no way to see the itemized charges until you put in your credit card number and then it is too late because there is no way to cancel the transaction at that point. Don't order from this fraudulent company.

Track Doesn't "glow"

Along with the cars not working for very long, the track also doesn't light up. I kinda knew this already about the track ( it's the black light in the commercial that gives the appearance of the track glowing ). However, it still looked fun. Not so much fun when nothing is working and the kids are upset. Ugh.

DO NOT BUY

Bought a set for my son back at the beginning of November. Called them two weeks ago and they told me it would be shipped in two days. Still nothing. Now, I will have to scramble to get something else for Christmas for my kid.

Car Broke 1 Day

Bought magic track and I had to call in to adjust one order because I was double charged and you can't see the itemization until your card has been charged. Thats not good. Then 1 day after playing with the track 1 wheel fell off then on day 2. Another wheel came off. My son os just playing with the track. Will order cars elaewhere.

Not Really Impressed

Bought two sets. Couldn't get either car running at first. Eventually got one going but the other one wouldn't work. Grandson disappointed. 😥.

Sorry grandson just his x mas present was very excited. Cars worked for about 10 minutes but now only one moves slowly wow thanks Magic Tracks wish you had a factory close by or corporate office so I could express my thoughts.

Junk Cars

Cars are Junk. Bought 2 sets 1 car didn't work at all and after 1 day the wheels wouldn't turn anymore. Grandson had more fun with the tracks.

DO NOT BUY

Cars either don't work or work a short time. Cool idea very poor quality. Kids love it only to hear sorry it doesn't work anymore after 1 hour.
My grandson who is non-verbal autistic loved it and 30 minutes of playing with it the cars quit working altogether causing meltdown. Do not buy.

Child saw advertisement and wanted the item. I ordered two deluxe sets. Came as one item. Don't know if I received two sets or not. One car does not work. Haven't called but other admit this is something normal, and replacement cars are backordered. Cannot see invoice price until after order is placed. While I like the product, I do not like that credit card information is entered before the total price is made available.

I think I will report this to the Arkansas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Agency. You should be able to see the invoice price before you order. The item buy one get one free for $19.99 ended up costing me $55.00, although I did buy the deluxe model which did have many extra items, bridges, overpasses and signs.

The main thing is my 3 year old loves the product.

Hi, I am currently being hounded for this for my 4 year old son and I thought I'd read the reviews and your review was the only one that recommend buying it & everyone else said one or both cars were broken when delivered or they broke / fell apart by following day! I have however bought stuff as seen on TV and you do get the "bogo" deal BUT you DO have to pay extra shipping and handling on it so double shipping cost plus cost of item. Sounds like a good deal but technically they get their $ out of you cause it doesn't cost them anymore to ship that second one or extra parts that's bonus item but they have to say it's for shipping and handling cause then they wouldn't be making $ on it and make you think it's free when the 1st one is already Marked up 300% minimum of their cost which its that way with everything. That's how we make $. Anyways what I want to know is how long have you had the track set as of now & is it all still working? I think you were the only one out of all the reviews who bought the deluxe one and that May be the difference in quality but I definitely don't want to spend $55 when I already have the advertised price and cost of shipping in mind to spend and will not get the bogo cause of the extra cost on shipping due to what I said above. I'm in sales and know how that works and it's a Marketing tool / trick and it works! I don't like to use it though, makes me feel guilty! 😂 I'm not really great at Marking up my inventory very much more than I pay! I'm too honest lol! If you could get back to me and let me know the condition track is in and how long your son has had it and all I'd appreciate it so I know whether or not to buy it! Your review seemed to be the most helpful and I'm also originally from Arkansas so thought hey I'll ask you! Thanks and sorry for long reply!

I just ordered the accessories by credit card and I saw the final total before I submitted it so Maybe the attorney general fixed it. I ordered the tracks at Walmart to pick up tomorrow. Hope they work. What size battery do I need for the cars.

Dec. 2 I ordered this for my grandsons for christmas. I have yet to get an e-mail stating it was shipped. No gift for my kids at christmas let alone this year. Very disappointed.

Do Not Buy Magic Tracks

Do not buy from the magic track web site. They advertise 2 sets for $19.99 plus $5.99 shipping and then ply you with special offers. I bought one additional set and all of a sudden I did not get the price that was shown -- total rip off. I wish I had read all the reviews prior. Do not buy Magic Tracks from the website!

Don't Buy from WEBSITE!

Do not buy this product from the website. It boasts a better deal but it has several pop ups before you confirm your order and then it does not allow you to review the order before it charges your credit card! My order that was suppose to be $19.99 somehow got to $44.98. The customer service number has been busy!

I honestly would like to call better business bureau. Buyer be ware!

I also placed an order and I want to cancel it because it is now on back order! And I found that out when I sent customer service an email. I sent several emails after that with no response! I have tried calling the new customer service number at 800-793-5469 and would you believe it rings twice than goes straight to a busy signal! Imagine that! I am not very happy at all!

Warning Gets Tangled in Hair

Great granddaughter loves it. But accidentally laid down next to hers. Got it caught in her hair. Don't stay charged. I bought 4. Wish I didn't. Looks cool on TV. Would be if they would stay charged. An Adult friends son put one on her head. Got tangled up like my great granddaughter. Need a lot of improving on these toys.

I bought 2 of them from Walmart for my 2 grandsons omg they love it they have played with this more than anything getting ready to buy a 3rd one for my other grandson aND the best part they can snap the track together all by them self so there not hollaring for help every 5 min. Def. Recommended.

Magic Tracks Junk

I bought for Magic Tracks for my grandchildren and two of my sons all four of them had something wrong with them two cars completely don't work two of them had tracks that were broken I'm a very unhappy unsatisfied customer and as far as their return policy and guarantee that's crap because they will not return anything or guarantee anything my grandchildren and my sons are very disappointed for their Christmas.

Total Junk

I bought teo sets as christmas gifts from a store. The one car broke after turning it on the first time and the second one the car would not go comoletely around the track because the pieces were poorly made. That's what we get for made in China. I will be returning and hopefully getting a refund. My whole family and I were disappointed in this.

I Regret Buying it!

I bought the 2 tracks for 1999 and dded additional cars and cgarged me 30 something from my credit card that was suppose to be the total on 11-0416 well I look on my back statement and they took 72 something out of my account without asking. I been try to call it rings then busy signal then hangs up I am turning them in for fraud.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT

I bought the Magic Tracks for a grandchild for Christmas. What a rip off. One car lasted four laps before the wheels quit turning. My son in law worked with it to try to get it working. No luck. I got it ready to return only to be told at the post office it would cost $17.05 postage. Then I would be charged by as seen on TV Shipping and handling. Never never never again will I order anything from As Seen on TV so I rated this a zero stars.

I bought two sets. One car works and one did not. I called today to get a car replacement and was told they were on back order and it would take 4 / 6 weeks to receive another one. Why keep advertising if you cannot fill the orders. Reading reviews all of them are the same! It's the car issue. Fix it or discontinue selling defective cars.

Disappointed

I contacted customer service about the car not working. My mother got this thing for all her grandkids and couldn't find her reciept amoungst all the receipts of things she purchased over the year for her grandkids for Christmas. Even though I had original box and she knew she ordered off the TV commercial they wouldn't exchange the car out for one that worked.

I have been trying for days to cancel my order or even speak to a person in customer service. I have been put on hold for 1+ hours and then told the system is down. Do not buy from these people!

Big Mess with Magic Tracks

I have made about 20 calls to Magic Tracks and there customer service line or shall I say customer service lie. I ordered the deluxe package in July for my grandson they billed me sent me the tracks n 2 cars called them told them blue car don't work and they forgot to send my tunnels and bridges. They said they replace car and send out tunnel n bridges there delivery service smart post lost it they so called said gave me tracking # tracked it from my post office my post office told me they don't have it I gave them the tracking number they said smart post was responsible they said they have it but it didnt arrive I called back Magic Tracks complained wat they did told them I want my money back send me a box still waiting on blue defected car they sent tunnel n bridges after 15 calls it is November 21,2016 no car. I have an attorney looking into it the attorney told me my rights I called Magic Tracks like my attorney said and gave my attorney the info tracks gave me breach of contract.

Same thing just happened to me ordered in October and nothing but order is on back order?! Complained last week to cancel order next morning money taken from my account! Called 2 days later to find out WHY they said sorry for the inconvenience that I should have it within 4 weeks I said no I'm canceling they td me I couldnt cancel since payment has been processed! So 4 days later I get the package in the mail for the buy1 / get1 offer and its not even in Sepereate boxes as the claim you can "gift to others" it was a small box I was like Maybe I have another box coming?! Nope it was the only package So not worth the money or hassel might as well buy at "ToysRus" or other local retail stores who carry them.

I Regret Buying it!

I order on February 17,2016. Received an email notice on February 25 that my order was on “back order.” Called customer service April 1,2016 and was told it would be shipped in 3 weeks. It is now May 13, I called and cancelled the order. This is crap, I have waited for other items purchased only for about a month, that is as long as I will go with no updates from the company. The website is shady, no one ever replies to emails. I would not order if you haven’t yet. There are comparable car tracks on Amazon and Target.

I agree! I ordered the 2 for one, only to be told they were on back order! Never again will I order from here or recommend anyone ordering them! So darn frustrating!

Cars Don't Work

I ordered 2 sets of these and out of the 4 cars 3 don't work, this was Aug 15th 2016, they said they would send me 3 more cars, this is now Jan 18th 2017, still haven't seen the cars, I am told they are on back order. Sorry people, this is a child's toy and when a Grandmother and Grandfather give a child a toy, it better work. Thanks Magic Tracks. Pure trash!

I ordered end of October. I figured the 2 for 1 would be a hit. The website clearly stated that the demand was high and they could not guarantee Christmas delivery. I received an email a week ago saying my order had shipped. I received it today and true to their word, my card was not charged until it shipped. Actually one day after. I have no complaints so far. They are sold in stores. Walmart, Target, Fred Meyer. You just don't get the 2 for 1.

Do Not Want Anyone to Know How Stupid I Am

I ordered in Oct. and have not received anything yet tried to call was put on hold for at least 30 min. Then I would be cut off I tried again and the same thing happened so did my emails no answer.

Terrible!

I ordered magic track 5 weeks ago. Was told will take 7-10 days to receive and as of today 11 / 16 still no track. I call the number I used to order. Was told they only take orders and they gave a "customer service" number of 844-463-0493. I called this so called customer service and ( no suprise ) it was a recording saying that there is a back rorder & you are not billed until shipped. Lies! My card was billed weeks ago & nothing received. Called order line back explained that no answer on custoemr service line. Asked to speak to a supervisor & told they have no supervisors & refused to transfer to this so called customer service number & get me a live person & told no they could not do that. And was told to go online. So here I am online 7 only option is to write a review! There is no customer service with this comany! If you like this product all I can say is be prepared to be ripped off!

I ordered magic track in February for my grandsons. Shortly afterward, I rec’d an email stating it is on back order. It’s now May and I am still waiting.

I suspect this product is manufactured in China and they either encountered production problems or the item violated U.S. safety standards and was pulled from the market. The item is most likely harmful and dangerous. Possibly the luminescence and or plastic used is toxic or contaminated.

In any case, you’ll never receive this product as it is no longer advertised.

Just so you know..this product is still advertised. My son saw the commercial with me just this morning while watching qubo together. That’s what prompted me to come here for opinion. Thanks for letting us know about the problems. I’ll definitely research more before purchasing.

Its a SCAM !

I ordered Magic Tracks & by mistake I ordered 2 sets instead of 1. I have been calling customer service number million times & no agent comes on the phone. I have emailed them so many times but there is no response to either cancel or make changes to the order. It seems like its a scam. Have to put my credit card on hold for this purchase. 0 stars. Don't recommend to anyone at all.

I ordered Magic Tracks in June for my grandsons and received it in August to which the cars do not work at all they light up but do not move. When I called the company to send it back I was told not to and that I would receive new cars, it is now November and nothing. So now I have magic s#&$ just sitting here. I want money back. Magic my a$.

You should call the credit card company if you are unhappy with the product and customer service. They will more than likely place a hold on the card, which will get a response from the company.

I was looking at these for my son, but the reviews have been very mixed. This looks like a knockoff of a product called Neo Tracks, which is more expensive, but the reviews have generally been good.

Website Doesn't Allow You to Review the Order!

I ordered Magic Tracks on their website and after giving them my credit card, they kept offering what seemed like cheap add on but then after answering the questions, the order was placed without allowing me to confirm what and I was ordering or nor did it confirm the price with me!

The total came to nearly $200!

I actually received way too much and wasted a lot of money. : (. Do not buy this from their website or at all!

I ordered the bogo offer. Received quickly, but only one set. Did not get the free one. Tried calling twice. On hold over 15 minutes extremely loud music. Still no answer. Sent email. Going on 1 week no response. Will not order from ontel products again.

I ordered the deluxe set and of course did not receive it. If the tunnels, etc are on back order then don’t charge my card until you have the supplies to send. Also I didn’t even receive a notice about not receiving my entire order. I called and suggested that they overnight it to me since they didn’t even bother to let me know I would not get the whole order. I have yet to hear back from anyone.

I ordered this for my son almost a mth and a half ago and I still haven’t received it yet. Also when I went online to order extra items was added to my order wout me comfirmimg it. I had to call to have it removed. I am waiting and hoping that it comes bc my son really do want it, but I don’t know if it will come. I feel like the customer service isn’t that good, bc if you call they can tell you when you might get your order. I was told that it would take 3 wks to get it. Hoping my son would have it for his bday. That didn’t happen. Then when I called back I was told up to 6 wks. This is the 5th wk and I still don’t know if it’s coming.

My Kids Love It

I originally ordered in October for Christmas. They were back ordered. Not charged until they shipped. I ordered several sets and was given a ton of extra bridges for free bc I ordered such a large order. I talked to customer service several times and always got thru to someone. I live in Tennessee so that May be why I had a good experience. I hate allot of you didn't. I've got happy campers here! Merry Christmas!

DO NOT "TRY" to PURCHASE THIS from THEIR WEB PAGE

I placed my order the end of October and it is still on back order and don't think you can call customer service they either disconnect after a lengthy hold or they just don't answer at all. I understand high call volumes but over 45 minutes on hold is totally unacceptable and very poor business. I do not consider this a reputable business. Customer service will make or break a company and this is a huge break!

I started out buy two tracks deluxe version for my grandson and I will have to say this is a royal F***ing POS what they don't tell you is one track is not actually one track its a piece of the track which is one and there is 220 pieces in there which is about an inch big which I have spent 85 bucks and its not worth it at all so magic track can shove it up there a** its not worth 85 dollars.

The Cars Are Cheaply Made

I'm giving 2 stars only because my grandson has had fun with the set - which is fleeting because there is a major issue with the cars. So far, three of the seven cars I purchased have stopped working. And customer service is terrible. I have still not had a response from them a month after contacting them about replacement cars.

Hours of Fun

I've seen lots of negative comments on this site for Magic Tracks. We purchased our at a local department store and have had great luck with it. The cars are fantastic and my son plays with them at least 2 hours everyday and we haven't had to replace the batteries yet ( but the cars are slowing down and I will be replacing them soon ). He also received two other off brand sets as well. The tracks all fit together, but the cars in the off brand sets don't work as well. I would recommend purchasing the sets at a local store and if you have a problem, you can return it to that store. This was my son's favorite Christmas gift.

I. Purchased four sets of Magic Tracks for my grandchildren. Within hours one car stopped working. A second car stopped working with the first week. Customer service is a scam. The email for contacting kicks back as invalid. I would not recommend that company or product to anyone.

Ive Got the Answer

If you ordered with a credit card cancel the card before its charged and then you don't have to deal with them after the initial email requesting a cancellation. I couldn't get them to answer my calls or email? It sounds drastic but I didn't want them to have the satisfaction of the ripoff. They won't ship what's not been paid for.

I also ordered over a month ago for my grandkids! When after a month I Decided I can find it in store I called several times and emailed them to cancel my order ( next morning my card was charged ) I called to ask why when I canceled my order and they said it was pending shipment so I couldnt cancel! The lady informed me I would should get it before December 27th. I told her my whole intention of ordering 2 months ahead of time was I would have it before christmas! She told me to review my order placement online and I can get updates on what is going on with my "package" I got confirmation this evening that I got it go to my mailbox to find 1 small box go home to open and they not even Seperated they just wrapped in small bubble wrap so I can't even give as a gift if I wanted 2 : / best bet is to buy in store.

I also ordered 3 sets for grandkids for Christmas with accessories to boot! They do not have customer service, just looped message and canned music. Three emails were not responded to, and had change to my credit card due to new one issued before they charged. Sent a final email that the charges would be Declined since the card information had changed and they obviously were not interested in responding to my previous emails or phone calls to just cancel. Magically I got a response within minutes that they were sorry I decided to cancel and duly noted my order as cancelled. Sad business practices~~~ They will be trending on my facebook with major negative review!

My grandson too just saw the commercial on qubo and we ordered today. I also was charged for another set that I did not order. They do not let you see the total price before they charge your card.You expect to see the pre-price page before confirming but after all the ads for all he extras they want you to order for that and they other thing…. it goes right to “Thank you for your order”…75 bucks? What? It was suppose to be around 40 something. I am so upset. Has anyone actually received these tracks and if so …any time sooner than a month and a half ? Are they any good?
I called customer service and you are right Octavia…the customer service could care less and not helpful at all. If and when they cancel my order ….I will just wait for it to come to Walmart to the “as seen on TV section”…they all go there eventually.

You probably put a quantity of two instead of one. The quantity of ONE gives you 2 sets, it is a buy one get one offer. If you put quantity of two, you get TWO buy one get one sets, or a total of 4 sets of 220 tracks etc. I made the same mistake but caught it before I placed the order. My kids love it!

I have to retract what I said about Magic Tracks previously. I finally got my order number so that I could call them back and have them tell me why so much was charged. This customer service rep was much better. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She adjusted my order that I could actually see her change on line and got it to the order and price that I originally wanted. $32 dollars is much better than $74. So she told me I would get it in about 2-3 weeks. I had to question her about this after reading the wait time on here. I told her that I have seen they just started in January and wondered if it was a supply and demand issue . She said that is exactly what it was . She said they never expected this respond for requests and they just couldn’t keep up with demand in a proper delivery time frame. She told me they fixed that issue now after they were so swamped over the first 6 months. She said that this product is just flying. So I will post as soon as get it to let you know what to expect when you order. She really made me feel better about it…but do mind the extra’s because the shipping is $11.98 for the buy one get one free …but if you order another buy one get one free…the shipping jumps to $23.96.

My grandsons’ father bought 2 sets for the boys, and within 10 minutes, the first car broke after being dropped. 10 minutes later, the 2nd car suffered the same fate. As others have mentioned, this is a very cheaply made set. While the glow-in-the-dark tracks are neat, having incredibly lightweight, cheaply made cars to go on them means having to replace them with something else – costing more money than the set originally set you back. If these are made for children to play with, they need to be more durable. One drop from a height of about 1.5-2′ and the cars are DOA.

SCAM!

My husband called and order after seeing the commercial for our 4 year old little boy. We have yet to receive a confirmation email or a debit posted to our account from them. However, we did within a couple of hours after talking to them did have several attempted purchases with debt card to some tickets website the largest being $870.51. I don't believe it was just a coincidence. I believe it was them! Luckily i'm one step ahead and check my account frequently so I called bank, card was hot carded and cancelled and attempted transactions were rejected. We do not usually order things off of TV and it won't happen again.

ALWAYS Check Reviews before Buying if Possible

My son has been asking for this every time it comes on TV so I finally broke down and said ok if you go clean out what you don't play with anymore, yes. I google Magic Tracks reviews, this was bad! Led me here. I've only found 1 review on here that said bought deluxe 1 & didn't know the cost was$55 thought it was $19 plus s&h & to get the bogo they got screwed over. 1 car worked of the 2 & track with extra accessories the deluxe track but everyone on here has both cars come broken or 1 broke & the other break next day plus charged more & some charged double cause the bogo. Its a Marketing tool / trick due to the 1st item you buy is already Marked up 300% &some Mark up more. They also don't have to pay extra to ship you the "free" item it's all one cost& that's already calculated on the 1st item why wouldn't you? It's free, right? No! Its not.

Keeps my Son Busy

My son was given this a gift a couple of years ago and we have added to the set. We now have four cars and what seems like miles of track. The cars run on triple A batteries and are pretty fast. The cars light up and it looks cool at night.

The tracks are easy for a kid to take apart and put back together. Just be aware if you step on a track barefoot that it will hurt.

Rippoff Website! NOT HAPPY

My wife went on their site and just as these other people on here say, you are not able to see what you are being charged or how much until you hit the 'process order' button at which time it is already too late, you are taken to a page where an itemized list tells you you just got screwed they charged us $78.00 there were $19.99 charges 3 times along with tax shipping etc, even a $1.00 'web fee'? I mean wth is that? They're charging you to use the internet for the order? All we wanted was the one set of track plus the buy one get one for the additional shipping, totol should've been $19.99 + $5.99 shipping plus the addition $5.99 shipping on the second set for a total of $31.97 plus tax we were shocked to see $78.00 and when we tried customer service they were 'closed' the charge still hasn't came through the bank so we can try to dispute it, I saw on here a guy with fraudulent charges on his card after his order so i'm freaking about that! I wish we would have looked for reviews first but as I said my wife did it and she was asking me to come help her so I guess it's, yes you got it, my fault, so please, be careful with these guys, they are rippoffs! And I also saw on here that the product is cheap, wow, talk about getting suckered!

This is what totally happened tome. I called them right after the order and the rep said over and over again that they had cancelled my order. Then I got emails that my order is on back order, I emailed them and said I had cancelled my order, then then another email came a few days later saying thank you for the order. Then I emailed again and said I don't want and please cancel. Then a few days later it said the order is shipping. Emailed them again. that company rips people off and misleads them. I plan on pursuing this further.

Number 1, I ordered the buy one, get one free, no problem. Then I get a email that my tracks are on back order. I had ordered these for two of my grandkids, imagine my surprise when they arrived in plain brown box, both in box, I woulda that that each track would be individually packed, And like you see at the stores. I was very disappointed.

Cars for Magic Track

On October 14, 2016 I ordered two sets of tracks along with the extra cars. I have one car that does not work at all. How do I get a replacement car? I have a 4 year old nephew and he really enjoys this track and cars that do work. But I think that for the amount I paid for this product I should have received all cars working.

I Regret Buying it!

Order 2 sets 9 / 20 / 2016. Received order, it would not shut off with switch. Called customer service was told to remove batteries when I wanted to shut it off. Told them that was unacceptable requested they send m a new car which they said the would. Dec 172016 sent email asking where my car is. Dec 262016 still no answer. Another fly by night company.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!

Ordered in September for son's 3rd birthday in October 25th. Didn't receive in time for birthday and his aunt bought Magic Tracks at walmart. Next day received email it was on backorder. I emailed back and said to cancel, received email back saying order had been cacelled. Then November 15th my husband ended up in hospital with anuerysm and I get an email saying back order was filled and is shipped! I said "no no no! I will not be home to receive and do not charge my card I cancelled, and forwarded cancellation email. Received it on my door step card charded. They will not reply or respond, can't get through on the phone and I am not paying to send it back. Decided well what now, opened box and it isn't even what we had ordered!

Don't Waste Your Time

Ordered long ago and I see zero sign of them ever arriving.
I ordered another set called Mindscope from the very reliable Amazon. It will be here in 2 days. Wished I did this before ordering from the scammers, Magic Tracks.

Magic Tracks is a Shady Company

Ordered on Nov. 10th as my son's Santa request ( he's been asking for a month or so when at his grandma's from seeing the commercials ). Figured it would def be here on time ordering it so far out. Get an email Nov. 18th that it's on backorder ( check reviews around the web and you'll find out that they've been telling customers it's backordered since Oct. But didn't both to put it on the actual site until sometime after my Nov. 10th order ). I wait patiently for an update for a week then email Nov. 24th asking if this will be here by Christmas. Nov. 26th I get a form reply that it's on back order and will be 4-6 weeks before delivery. I reply back same day asking if it will be here by Christmas to please let me know, if not or if they don't know please let me know that- since I need to make other plans. No reply. I do more research and get a pretty scummy view of the company from what others dealt with on customer service. I email Nov. 29th at 10pm to request a cancelation- since I'm not getting any customer service response and because I found out they knew about the backorder situation for months. Still no customer service response, but when I checked the site this morning I found out they shipped my order out yesterday ( the day after I request a cancellation. Despite the 4-6week supposed delay ). FedEx says the order will be here Dec. 9th- so at least my kiddo gets his Santa request at Christmas, but that's pretty shady behavior for a company- even an As Seen on TV one!

Not Easy to Store, for Later Use

Picked this up at a local toys are us. It was slightly over packed with plastic.
Easy to put together. Car works gets lights up great. The track glows very well, but does not glow for very long.
We played and played with it changing it shape making tunnels and over passes.
My only complaint andna big one too.
It claims is easy to store the track, just roll it up.
Nope! It slides around and comes apart.
If you want me a mother to buy your toys make them easy to put away! Can not stress that enough!

Poor Communication Outlet for Customers

Placed order 2 weeks before Christmas, confirmation I received stated I should receive the product between 7 to 10 business days. Made three attempts of contacting customer support prior to Christmas to obtain status of order and / or to cancel order. Each time, went through automated system then ended up waiting to speak to someone for too long before Deciding to hang up. On January 13, noticed charge hit my credit card. I immediately contacted credit company to dispute the charge since I have not received the product. Very next day, January 14, package arrives at front door. Package is still sitting at my front door as I have no intentions of opening the package. I will allow the credit card company to argue my case with Magic Tracks and if for some reason I am ultimately forced to pay, then I will seek other alternatives.

2 Months and Waiting!

Placed order on October 1st, still haven't received! I attempted several times to reach customer service, still no luck! This is fraud! Received one email in November stating they are backordered! Horrible! Why do they keep accepting orders, when there is clearly nothing in stock!

Fraudulent Charges Applied after Placing Order

Placed order, after going through numerous questions as to what else we would like to purchase. Received a call today saying the card had fraudulent charges put on it. The card is o ly used for online purchase s but this had been used at a Walmart and a convenience Market. Either the company is heisting numbers or their security is poor and someone else stole our information. We still don't know if our order was processed.

Cars Don't Work

So, two purchases and both cars don't work! Yes, I put the batteries in correctly! If you push the car the lights come on, but the wheels won't turn and the car will not run. WalMart said they are getting a lot of returns. Don't waste your money, they don't care.

Cars Are Poor Quality!

The cars are not very powerful, nor do they last. You cannot do the things in the commercials. Not to mention the term "glowing" is used very loosely when referring to the tracks. Honestly the money would be much better spend on a standard track set.

The cars batteries last about 5 minutes if that, no joke. Been using fresh energizer batteries in them. Spent more on batteries than the dumb tracks. Disappointed son on Christmas.

That seems very odd. Are the lights in the cars LED? I can't understand why they would only last 5 minutes. I'm wondering if perhaps the batteries you put in were not as fresh as you believe.

DO NOT BUY

The most dreadful customer service I have ever dealt with. What an absolutely terrible company to deal with. They can take their tracks and shove it. I ordered my tracks in Early November and after multiple phone calls was assured that I would receive my order for Christmas. I have not been able to get a hold of them since then. I cancelled my order and sent a nasty email to go with it on December 23 and still have heard no response. Just ridiculous.

The only thing that made me mad was the sneaky “web service fee” of $1.00 they snuck it in so they are charging you for buying it! I kid you not I was floored! Airlines charge you for phone service booking but completely free for the web for obvious reasons but this place is literally charging you to buy their product. Might seem petty considering it’s only a dollar but they don’t think anyone would notice meanwhile it adds up to hundreds of thousands of dollars for them. Enough said, other than that my son received his today, it came in maybe ten days after I ordered it. And he loves it! He is only three and gets easily frustrated at trying to put things together but he was actually able to build his own track by himself, thank God.

Tracks Don't Glow as Cars Go

The track are addicted to "glow add the cars go" meaning the lights on the cars should excite the glowing material in the track. After an hour of letting the cars run around the track, nothing is glowing. I tried using flash lights to get it started, but it want enough to get the track to glow. Disappointed son : (.

Track DOESN'T Glow

The track certainly does NOT glow at all. I took the track into a very well lit area and then back to a dark room, but still no glowing. Very disappointing to day the least. My 2yr old told me to throw it in the garbage.

The worse company ever! They did not shipped on time. Gave them 8 weeks before xmas and still nothing. Never made it. They will not answer the phone. The worse company ever. Don't waste your money. I now am calling my credit card company to put a stop on payment since company does not answer the phone. They will answer to take new orders, but not customer to request shipping info. Or refund info.

HORRIBLE don't BUY RIP off NOT worth IT

There way smaller then they say. You need a stock in batteries they dies so fast they over charge. Never mailed them out for over 2 weeks. Took almost 2 weeks to get. They charge for stuff you don't get. They charged more then the site said. Charged me $52.00 when should have been $42.00 never received what I was supposed to I got to deluxe packages which it should have came with pretty much everything all I got was signs trees and a hill. In all honesty don't buy and they don't glow.

You should of bought it qt walmart. The cost olest thing since the lighting mcqueen radiator springs racetrack. My son enjoys it everyday after school. And they do glow and my batteries from my remote control for TV have been used for like 6 months and I placed them in the lil car and the car goes super fast. I don't know what your doing wrong.

DON'T BUY

This is completely ridiculous. What a scam. I ordered on November 28 and I never received them in time for christmas ( there was no notice of that when I ordered ) and now my card was charged on January 5, after I emailed the customer service email and tried to call any / all 1-800 numbers but none of them worked or got me to an actual person. I stated on December 14 in an email ( the email address the company says to email ) to cancel the order. I have not received them to date, and with my card being charged, I will be disputing the charge.

This product took approximately 3 months to arrive. Ithe tracks don't glow in the dark. Its very cheap. It doesent have the image as seen on TV. Do not b you y.

JUNK - do not BUY!

This set is horrible! The plastic tabs break off the tracks, the tracks do not glow, some of the cars that came with it do not work and those that do, do not hold a battery charge for long. The cheap plastic bridges are hard to stay together. I bought the double tracks and extra bridges and cross over pieces - spent over $65 such a waste of money!

Do Not Buy

This set is horrible. The car runs through batteries after less than 30 minutes of run time. I have had to take apart the car and super glue the back axle to the gear to keep it running. It won't go up a 1 / 2" incline. This is probably the cheapest made car I have ever seen.

We just received our order from Magic Tracks. It took FOUR months! We received 1 email that it was on back order and no other communication. I called 3 times while waiting and was assured it would be sent soon. The order itself when it finally arrived is incomplete. We ordered the track and the accessories, the Deluxe set. Only the track and cars came, no accessories. I went on the website to see if I was remembering incorrectly what the Deluxe set contained since it had been so long. I had a similar experience that you can’t look without a credit card number and was charged for an additional set. When I was finally able to talk to customer service this morning, they said the rest of the order would be sent in a week (we’ll see). Also they stated they could not cancel the other order for 24-48 hours and it must be done with a phone call, not online. So I will have to call back.
Overall, the set is fun but the website and customer service is horrible!!!! I would not order from them again and would recommend others not order either.

We ordered 2 sets + 2 free because that was the limited number you could order from this, and then we got an email saying they were out of them! The ad is still running for these tracks! This is fraud in my book! They just don't want to give you the 2 free ones!

At least you got an email! : - ( I ordered 60 dollars worth of Magic Tracks for my grandson on Oct. 28th, 2016. My Credit Card was charged Very quickly. After checking my order status and constantly getting status of "order placed". I emailed them, then I waited, no reply, I emailed again, waited no reply. Called their customer service, which has recording about "back orders" and "your credit card will not be charged until your order ships? LIE number one,,, then recording goes on to say "if you want to talk to customer service rep" stay on the line" Lie number two,,, try staying on the line, it will beep, then it will hang up. They haven't replied to emails, phonecalls ect. I shop online Alot and never had a Company, which still runs constant ads to this day, have such lousy customer service and to Lie about credit card charges ect should be a crime.

I did it. Got it cancelled. It took me forever. The number I called is actually the number of the place that takes the orders not the actual Magic Tracks. ontel.worldpackusaorderstatus.com the number is phone: 973.439.9000. I called, I said I want to cancel an order, she asked what product, I said Magic Tracks, she said ok, put me on hold ( I was scared of this ) -but she was back on in about two minutes. She said I would get an email confirming cancelled order within 24 hours. I opened my email and surprise! It's there. Good luck and I hope this is as easy for you as it was for me. Although it took several hours of research to find the number. This is actually thru [email protected] If you go to bbb site and go to ontel products, click on "website", there is where you find the number. Merry Christmas!

We received our Magic Tracks today and both the cars do not work. I called customer service and they advised it would take 6 weeks for replacement. I asked for a refund and they offered me a $5 refund. Haha no! Then advised me I can ship it back at my cost and when they get it they will send a refund. I do not recommend this product. I have a very upset three year old that was so excited about it and it doesn't even work. This is the last time I will every order anything from Magic Tracks or any thing affiliated with them. Beware.

What kind of race are you going to have with a single lane track? You can't race two cars against each other? You can't control their speed or their speed around turns. I would rather have the tracks that are stiff and you can control the cars speed around the track. And can race against each other. Your track sucks and is made for idiots that have no control on their cars.

Exactly! All I wanted was the buy one get one. And then I did add the criss cross track. First I said no. Then it took off half the price, making it $5. I said ok. I complained in my email to them that there is no view page before confirming charges. They wound up charging me the full price for the half off item and then gave me the 2 deluxe tracks making it $30! At first I didn't mind thinking buy one get one plus shipping for both equals $32. Then I realized they charged me $29.99 for the 2 tracks even before the $12 for shipping! They still have not returned my email. I too wish I would have reviewed. Saw them at walmart the next day! And they don't even let you see an estimated delivery date. I had to look it up online later to find out that it doesn't ship for 30 days! Now it's going to miss my son's birthday.

Website is Just the Start of the Scam

When I placed my order almost one month ago the page went from choosing an extra item to you bought it, no confirmation page, my pc from at that moment when I restarted pc I did not have any email or anything saying it went through so I redid it and again site has no confirmation page, I had the second order email before the first I called to cancel the order and mentioned the site not having a confirmation page before you bought it, the guys says oh the site was malfunctioning that day, now cs does not even answer it says a recording and hangs up I am cancelling the remaining order.

Do Not Buy

You have to put in your credit card information first before anything, then they asked you atleast 10 questions about adding this and adding that. So I added some things to my cart to see the end price. The price was $75. So I started over, I did not want to pay that. Then I added a car and a bridge and the total was $50 something, hoping I would get a discount, but didn't, so then started over and only pressed no over and over to everything and it was $32 something dollars so I went to press submit. And then realized there isn't a submit button as soon as there isnt anymore add-ons you are charged. So I ordered 3 times. I immediately called a was told it would take "forever" to get through but finally talked to someone that asked me my name and like a robot told me a 3 to 4 minute speech about magic track, so I gave her my online story and was told I had to call another number and was given an email address. I called and was on hold 1 hour before I hung up. I emailed them and they responded with when did you order, if it has been less than 24 hours I can't see anything about your order. After 24 hours I emailed again. Nothing. Emailed the next day. Nothing. And have emailed 2 more times different days and nothing. So I Decided to email from a different email address without giving them my name and they responded immediately, when I told them yes it has been over 24 hours I never got an responses again.

I just ordered yesterday and had the exact same thing happen to me! I called and was given another to call which kept a busy signal and emailed too an no response. If I don't hear something back by tomorrow I'm calling my credit card company and reporting it as fraud and getting the charge off my card! Keep me posted on your resolution!

As I odered & paid for this magic track 4 weeks ago & still have not received the track. Called # used to order, was given a customer sercvice number. Called 844-463-1127 which is just a recording saying that there is a back log & you will not be billed until shipped. Lies! I have been billed &4 weeks later. No track. No help to find out why & no way to get resolved as no one there will do anything but take your money & run! As of today 11 / 16. Money taken.,. No track & no one there that cares enough to check out this matter. '

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE

Do not order this online! I have had an absolute terrible experience. I went to order this online for my nephew and the first thing that they ask you to do is enter your card information, which I did thinking that I would be able to review my order before it was submitted. I get to the last page and my order was automatically processed for $92.00 which is not what I wanted to spend. I called customer service to cancel my order and was on hold for about 2 hours and couldn't get a hold of anyone. I have sent several emails and no one has responded. So I decided to contact my bank to stop the payment, which they did with a fee of $31. So now I have paid $31 for nothing. Honestly, do not order online I wish I would have known that you can purchase this in store. I will never purchase from an infomercial again!

I got my order from Magic Tracks minus the delux part which they said was back ordered it only took 8 days to receive. However I was a bit concerned because it advertised buy one get one free for a total of 440 track pieces but what I got was 8 packs of 5 track pieces. When I called customer service I was told in order to correct the issue I have to send it back and pay the shipping cost. My husband thinks we got what they advertised and that they are counting each line as a track piece which would make each section 11 track pieces. Has anyone else had this experience, I just want to know if I need to send it back or did i get what I was suppose to?!

No I don't think you got what you paid for my order was short also and told me that buy one get one free came in one box but some people said it works but they are ripping people off.

Request for Info if You Know Competition

I have the impression that magis tracks are poor quality, in addition to having order problems. I would like far better quality and have learned of two other names. I've read Magic Tracks is a knockoff of neo traks, twister trax 360 also seems to be the same toy.
Can anyone please compare or comment on twister trax 360 and neo tracks. Any idea which is superior?

The cars are Junk the wheels fall off and batteries don't last long. My grandson had lot of fun very excited for about 1 / 2 hour and Blue car barely would go. Got it home set it up cars wouldn't run and wheels fell off. Junk very poorly made for the price.

Neo traks have been around a long time. All I can tell you for sure is the Magic Tracks are not superior.

Car Motor Frozen

I received my order with no problem. But, one of the cars needed batteries, after playing with the set, I noticed drive wheels were locked up. Put new batteries in and no go but motor got really hot and had a smell of burnt wiring. Also the 3 batteries got awful warm. So did the motor housing. There could be a possible overheat with batteries because they looked like they were swelling up in size. Possible fire hazard.
Who knows!

I take orders for this product from the TV offer and have talked with many callers who not only order but call back again to reorder, and their friends or families call who have seen their kids play with Magic Tracks and want a set for their own kids too. Yes, as Dolores mentioned there were issues with long delivery times due to the unexpected popularity. As far as I know, this problem is now under control, I don’t hear complaints from people about delivery, but even so, it would be worth the wait. Reminds me of when the Elmo doll first came out and people were upset about THAT not being available. it’s just THAT popular. So, no worries, it’s a great product. The flexible track pieces are safe and kids just love to watch them glow and go. My kids even put towels over their windows in the daytime just to see them glow. My younger one keeps it going while he falls asleep at times, like a night light. No more problem getting that one to bed, I don’t mind stopping it once he’s out like a light. It is still advertised. This toy is A LOT of fun, my husband and I love to watch the kids play with it, the things they come up with, and say, it’s like they are in a land of their own. I encourage you to get the accessories as well for even a better experience that never gets old because there are soooo many possibilities.

I was going to buy a set of Magic Tracks as a Christmas gift for my grandson..however after doing my research for this product and reading all of these reviews…I have decided it’s best not to even attempt to buy it. Thank you to all the consumers who posted the red flag warnings. It’s really sad to see how much trouble and headaches this company has caused all of you to go through. Thank goodness for product reviews!!!! As they say buyers beware!!!

I went on line to order buy 2 for $19.99 Magic Tracks. I am thankful I took time to read the reviews written by people who ordered before me. Thanks to their reviews we have decided to not order Magic Tracks. Instead, we will purchase something of better quality. Thank you for your honesty!

Huge Shipping Cost

Just an FYI since I didn’t know this until my order for 2 of the $19.99 toys was completed, the shipping cost is $23.96. I would have given this purchase a little more thought if I had realized how much I had to pay for shipping. I thought shipping was included in the $5.99 P&H, obviously it wasn’t.

Check it out in a "As Seen on TV" Store Before

My local mall has a "as seen on tv" store where I've been able to check out the latest items on TV. You don't get bonus offers but you can see if something is a POS before and return it very easily. No mysterious CC Charges either. Check and see if you have a store like this locally.

I would like to know the name as well please! Too many negative reviews on Magic Tracks! My 4 year old is driving me crazy every time the commercial comes on saying momma momma I want that please momma lol so please let me know the name of the track that's like this one but better quality! Twister Trax 360. You can buy it on ebay brand new for $35 shipped. Its just like the Magic Tracks but comes with 15 feet of track and has a loop. You can view it on youtube. My 4 year old son loves it. The cars have held up so far unlike what I keep hearing from Magic Tracks. Would def recommend buying!

This is another case of a TV commercial making something look very terrific but when you get it ( and I highlight when! ), you wonder how they did that. Don't get caught in the hype for this piece of Junk.

This thing is kind of a rip off. It does not come with 220 pieces of track, we also bought one with no carry bag for it. I think these people are a rip off. We bought one, it only had twenty pieces of track in it, no bag, cheesy stickers, etc. Not impressed at all.

Well, this is all confirmation to me that it is not worth purchasing online. My daughter saw this commercial just a few minutes ago, so of course i research before buying. All of these concerns are quite helpful, as i am not about to wait 4 plus months for some Plastic & cars. I also understand a company getting backed up, but the miscommunication or lack there of on their part is disheartening for any future customer.

You have to put all the information in before you know how much it costs, then you're charged. There is no way to stop the payment. I had to cancelle my card to stop the payment.

BUYER BEWARE!

Do not fall victim to this companies scam, horrible customer service, I mean zero customer service. As others have stated they try to upsell you on all different types of addons on 10 different screens after putting your credit card info in. I ordered 2 sets for a Christmas gift and after I made order received email stating they were on back order and wouldn't get in in time for Christmas. I have tried to call and cancel order I was put on hold on Separate occasions for over an hour then got hung up on. They don't return emails and have yet to get a refund or resolution. Does anyone know how to talk to a live person in that company so I can get a refund or my product?

I ordered this on line. Did not like that I was charged more than advertised second one was not free just pay shipping, called immediatedly and cancelled just go notified today on Dec 15, that they would be shipping if they don't hear from me by December 14 but I had called and cancelled. Can you say pissed off?

Alternative?

Track is cool, cars are garbage. Batteries drain immediately and gears Separate. Exchanged twice, same issues with cars. Anyone know of an alternative car that will fit this track?

The best way to complain is by posting a detailed honest review to warn future customers. Complaining to a customer service rep won't get you anywhere.
