The product contains a strong suction base at the end of the gooseneck cord. This suction cup is intended to attach the mirror to different surfaces, to make it easier for you to use it and take it with you when you travel. The manufacturer claims that the suction base is so strong that it can attach to almost any surface.
Magic Mirror has 5 times the magnification of an ordinary mirror. It`s ideal for anything where you have to see yourself up close, like doing your nighttime face cleaning ritual or trimming your beard.
The circular mirror is surrounded by an LED light which has three separate lighting settings. There`s a white light setting for indoors, an amber light for daylight, and a blue light for the evening.
Coming out from the mirror is a long gooseneck cord which is extremely strong, and very flexible. You can move it around to any angle. It's also so strong that you can hang a heavy item on it when it's straight and it won't break.
The mirror has the additional feature of being able to swivel by 360 degrees. This simply gives you additional flexibility about how you want to position the mirror while you're using it.
The company's refund policy on this product is a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you are dissatisfied with the product for any reason you can return it within 60 days of the purchase date for a full refund. However, the manufacturer will not refund you the shipping and handling costs you have incurred.
The manufacturer is currently offering a deal whereby if you purchase one Magic Mirror, you get a second one for free. In addition, the company will pay the shipping costs on the free mirror. They mention that this offer is short term, and is not available in any retail outlets.
This item is very reasonably priced, particularly when you compare it with competitive brands.
This mirror is small enough to be portable. You can take it with you when you travel, stay somewhere other than home, or simply need a close-up mirror with you.
Magic Mirror is absolutely ideal for applying makeup. You can see your face up so close and it makes applying eye makeup much simpler and more accurate.
The strength and flexibility of the gooseneck cord are highlights of this product. As the manufacturer says, 'the mirror comes to you'. The cord is so flexible that you can move it around or pull it towards you. You can change the angle of the mirror as you require.
The mirror uses distortion-free glass, which is clearer and allows you to see more than ordinary glass. Sunlight should not reflect off the glass when you're using the mirror.
No matter what angle you want to use this mirror at, or how you want to bend the cord, you can absolutely do it. This genuinely is a mirror that you can use at any angle.
It's very handy that you can stick the mirror to any surface and use it hands-free, as opposed to a small makeup mirror that you have to hold. However, since there are many hands-free mirrors this is a small point.
This is an ideal shaving mirror for men. Now they can see themselves magnified and really get an accurate, close shave. All those spots that men usually miss because they csn`t see them will now be visible.
Although the mirror is portable, the long cord and suction make it difficult to take it with you. It's supposed to be a light item, but it's still rather awkward. There are much more portable mirrors which are also hands-free.
A mirror which magnifies your face 5 times is not necessarily what everyone wants. Being able to see up close also means magnifying your faults - your pores, and patches of dry skin. Some would say these things are better left unseen.
The company doesn't seem to be offering any kind of warranty on this product. This simply leads to questions about how confident they are about the quality of their product.
There's no information about the materials used to make this mirror, so it's difficult to assess the quality of the product on the whole. Will the suction cup last, or will it lose its suction over time? The gooseneck cord may not keep its hold after a time. Since there's no warranty, the company isn't offering any guarantee of product quality.
The different settings on the LED lighting don't seem very useful. Since most people would use this indoors most of the time, the difference between 'indoor' and 'daylight' is negligible. The amber light seems less bright, and it's not clear why this would be required under the headings provided.
Finally, we have the third light - the blue light for the evening time. Blue light is known to have some dangers and risks associated with it, including risks to the eyes. For this reason, it's not clear why the manufacturer decided to use it in this product. It's also not clear why blue light would be necessary for the evening. If the goal is activities like shaving and putting on makeup, where you have to see up close, it seems like you would always need a bright light.
The majority of competing products, in terms of mirrors with suction cups you can stick to surfaces, do not have any kind of gooseneck much less a flexible one. They are mirrors with a suction cup on the back that you can stick anywhere. There are some mirrors with a flexible cord and a suction, but they are either much more expensive than this product or have a very short cord.
