Magic Middles is a baking insert that you can put into any round baking pan. When you are done baking with it, there is a distinct depressed space over each of the eight slices. This special space is what you get to fill with whatever foods you want. Add spicy breakfast meats and eggs to a potato casserole or fill a bread with soup. Use it for desserts and fill different cakes with your favorite sweets.
The cost of Magic Middles is $10.00 plus $6.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Magic Middles at the discounted price of only $6.99 for a total price of $23.98. This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page found at magicmiddles.com; however, the company has since ceased selling Magic Middles and has taken down the website. Magic Middles may still be found for sale on Amazon or Ebay.
With this, you can save money on expensive baked goods you would otherwise have to get from a bakery.
You get to decorate your foods with things like icing, candy, or sprinkles.
This piece of bake ware is premium nonstick which means that any baked goods or meals should lift out of it effortlessly.
This unit is made out of heavy duty silicone which makes it safe to put in your oven and in the dishwasher when you are done.
The unit is not only dishwasher safe, but you do not have to soak it or scrub it to get it clean.
This particular unit is a fun way to get kids involved in something like baking. You can use it to make sweet or savory foods, including things like homemade ice cream cake. Let kids fill foods with their favorite items like fruit, jello, or pudding.
There are lots of recipes you can use with this unit but there is a special recipe book included to help you if you are low on ideas. Make cornbread that is filled with chili in the middle. Create a shallow bread bowl and fill it with soup. Make angel food cake with fresh fruit on top or lemon pudding cake with the fresh pudding served on top of the cake. For more savory options, try potato pancakes filled with sour cream, bacon, and chives or a breakfast casserole.
If you bake often, or you need to bake a large quantity of unique treats for something like a bake sale or party, this could really be a hit. The eight individual sections means you can bake, for example, a single chocolate cake. Then fill that chocolate cake with eight, six, or four different fillings. This offers more options and variety for the people who might have allergies to nuts, prefer fresh fruits, or crave a sweet ice cream treat.
For bigger families in particular the flexibility of eight pockets means each family member can pick the filling they want most. Families that typically want different foods might have to make many different foods, whether it is for breakfast or for dessert. Every child seems to have their own preferences, especially when they are growing up. Capitalizing upon that is easy with Magic Middles.
While this baking tool does make it great for you to add things to your desserts or foods, the name is misleading. What it fails to really make clear with its name is that you are not filling the middle of something. Instead, you are just leaving a small indented section inside each slice so that you can fill that slice with something else. This is great, but it really means you are adding something on top of the food, not filling a solid cake with a creamy center or something.
This unit is a great way to make fun foods, but it does not work alone. You can only use it within a circular bake pan for things like pies or cakes. If you do not have one, you have to buy one. Make sure the Magic Middles tool fits inside and fits snugly. Should it not fit into one you already have or are thinking of buying, then the small indentations will not line up correctly.
There is only one depth allowed for the indentation in your food. You have no options for making the middle section deeper or thicker. This means you only have one option for decorating or adding fillings to your foods.
There are many typographical errors on the site, especially on the pictures, like "corbread" with chili. If the company isn't willing to spell check their public advertisements, it does not look good for the quality of their products.
Start by taking the unit and placing it so that the slice shaped sections are flush with the bottom of your circular pan. This means there should be raised sections when you look at the bottom of the pan.
Then take whatever mixture you are preparing and pour it inside. This can be the cake mix, the quiche recipe, or anything else.
Bake your foods as you normally would, according to the instructions.
When it is done cooking, you want to just flip the pan over so that whatever you cooked falls out onto a serving tray or plate. Be careful here because the ability to remove something perfectly from a tray is really contingent upon how non-stick the tray and the food you are making it. While the middle place mat should be nonstick, the sides of your bake pan might not be so add something to it.
If it is flipped over perfectly, you should be able to remove the Magic Middles mat and find the indentations ready to be filled. Fill them and decorate your finished foods as you see fit.
Magic Middles is a newly designed baking insert that gives you the power to be creative in your food. Unique in its design, you can fill it with any batter, dough, or cake mix and bake it in the oven as you normally would. There are eight pockets that can be filled with whatever you want, then decorated for presentation. You can microwave chocolate and fill a cake or fill a fresh cake with ice cream. Don't settle just for desserts Make breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipes too. You do not have to waste your time trying to ice your cake or put a topping on something you baked.
Yes, the product really works. If you put it in your circular bake pan ( assuming you have one or bought one to go with this purchase ) it will leave perfectly formed indentations in your finished foods. A potato cake, quiche filling, cake, cornbread, and more can be filled with individual toppings or group toppings.
