Before you start using this tool, you'll need to attach it to your dryer on the side that's convenient for you, at the height that's most convenient for you. You won't need to deal with any sticky adhesives, as it'll attach to the dryer with built-in magnets.
After your dryer has run, remove its filter ( which will likely be covered with lint ) so you can use your new device to clean it.
To clean your dryer's filter, simply insert it through the top your Magic Lint Lifter, making sure that the entire thing is inside, and then slowly pull it out. Once you're done, you should notice that the lint has fallen off and is now in the attached bag.
If your dryer filter isn't quite free of lint, stick it in the device again and slowly pull it out one more time. Then, put it back in the dryer where it came from.
The Magic Lint Lifter comes in a shade of pure white, the shade of most dryers, so it'll likely match yours.
This tool is a universal one, as it'll work just as efficiently with all makes and models of dryers, regardless of the shape or size of the filter within each. Therefore, if you replace your dryer, you'll be able to continue using it without making any changes to your routine.
Each tool also comes with a vacuum attachment that can be placed on the end of any vacuum. This attachment will suck up any extra lint left behind in your dryer that hasn't been picked up by the filter.
Unless you use your dryer much more often than the average person, you'll only need to empty your Magic Lint Lifter's bag about two times a year. The bag is big enough to hold a few months' worth of lint without overflowing.
When your dryer's filter contains less lint, your clothes won't take as long to dry as they otherwise would, so you won't waste time or electricity running clothing through multiple times.
Dryers with less lint in their filters due to the Magic Lint Lifter will also be less likely to catch on fire than dryers with dirtier filters.
If you try to clean your dryer's filter manually, by pulling the lint off it with your hands or tapping it against the side of a wastebasket, lint may end up all over your floor. This won't be the case when you use the Magic Lint Lifter instead, though. You won't need to touch any lint with your hands, and you'll only need to move your filter to gently slide it into the device and its bag.
No matter how sturdy this tool's attached bag is, it is just a bag, and there's a chance that it could break. If it does, you may not be able to find another bag that will attach to the magnets as effectively, so you may need to replace your whole device.
A lot of people try to pick lint off their dryer filter in order to clean it, but this can be time-consuming, and you may not be able to get every bit off, anyway. Plus, your hands might feel grimy when the job is done, and you may spot bits of lint on the floor, especially if you haven't set up a container to catch it.
Other people choose to rinse their dryer filter in an attempt to get rid of the lint. However, this likely won't eliminate it all, either, especially since lint tends to cling on even more stubbornly when wet. What's more, if you rinse too much lint down your sink's drain, it could eventually become clogged.
A trash bin is a fairly good place to dispose of lint, but regardless of whether you try to tap it off or use your hands, some may end up on the floor. When you use the Magic Lint Lifter instead, you'll only need to throw one bag, with all the lint trapped inside, in the trash bin.
Even if it seems convenient, never put other bits of trash in your Magic Lint Lifter, as this will interfere with its performance. Instead of coming clean, your dryer filter may come out without lint, but with other debris stuck to it.
It's best to hang this device from either side of your dryer, not the front. If the attached bag were to get caught in your dryer when you closed the door, this could be a hazard.
