Luscious Locks are brightly colored hair extensions that you can blend into any ponytail or braid. They've been designed with girls and young women in mind, but anyone who has at least chin-length hair will be able to wear them. These hair extensions come in three attractive colors, including hot pink, purple, and electric blue. Unlike most hair dyes, they won't add chemicals directly to your hair, and will never cause damage to your hair's texture. They can be added and removed in seconds.
The cost of Luscious Locks is $14.95 plus $5.95 shipping, for a total price of $20.90.

To add your first Luscious Locks extension to your hair, make sure you've got it right-side up with the clip facing upward. Make sure your hair has been washed recently, too, since you shouldn't wash your hair with one or more of these extensions in.
Next, clip the hair extension into your hair by using the attached clip. With a ponytail, this is all you'll need to do, but if you're planning on wearing a braid, you'll have to braid the three-strand extension into your real hair. If you need to give the extension a haircut since it's longer than your real hair, you can also do that at this point.
Once you've determined that your extension is the right length and is securely attached to your braid or pony, you'll be able to wear it all day without it falling out or losing its attractiveness. At the end of the day, simply unclip it and store it somewhere safe until you want to use it again. Be sure to remove it before washing your hair.
As mentioned, these hair extensions come in pink, blue and purple, so you may want to choose the shade you like best or the one that looks best with whatever outfits you like to wear. If you've got a team uniform or a special costume that's a certain shade or combination of shades, that could also guide your choice. Plus, in the event that you obtain one or more of these extensions in all three colors, you'll have the option of wearing two or three of them together.
Each of these extensions contains three thick strands of (pretend) hair, so if you're looking for more volume in your hairstyles, one or more of them will add that for you.
Luscious Locks aren't just designed for one hair type, such as straight or curly. They'll work equally well with all hair types, and will look as nice with one hair color as they will with another. As a result, if you dye your hair or lend them to a friend with a different hair color than you, their attractiveness won't be diminished.
These hair extensions come at a length that will suit hair that's long (past the shoulders), but if you have shorter hair, you'll be able to cut yours with ordinary scissors. Just keep in mind that if you cut an extension, you'll never be able to restore its original length.
When obtaining Luscious Locks extensions, you'll have a choice of getting one at once or obtaining two in the same shade. If your natural head of hair's very thin, you may want to obtain two to increase its overall fullness. Conversely, you might also want to get two if you have extremely thick hair, since one may not be noticeable enough when added to a thick head of hair.
The chemicals found in most hair dyes can damage the hair over time, drying it out and making it less healthy and shiny-looking. Hair dye can also interfere with the environment in which it's used by releasing unpleasant odors into the air and possibly staining things it's spilled on. Fortunately, Luscious Locks will never damage a person's hair, as they'll never cause chemicals to be directly applied to it. Furthermore, they have no toxic odor, and unless you were to wet one and rub it all over something, none of these will stain your body or anything around you.
If a child or teen dyes their hair pink, blue or purple, or uses hairspray in one of those non-traditional shades, they may decide they hate their look a few minutes later. Unfortunately, the color won't come out for at least a day and probably longer. On the other hand, if a child or teen doesn't like the colorful look they've created with a Luscious Locks hair extension, they can pull it directly out of their hair within a few seconds. With these hair extensions, there'll be no young girl crying while regretting an unfortunate style choice.
On a related note, while most children and teens would have to find someone to help them dye their hair, most of them will be able to clip in these extensions on their own. This, clearly, will put less work on the shoulders of their parents or caregivers. If a child is younger than 10, someone might have to help them clip an extension in the first few times, but after a few tries, they may be able to do it by themselves.
Although you'll be able to attach one of these hair extensions to any braid or ponytail, they're not meant to be attached to hair that is free-flowing. If you were to attach one to hair that hasn't been put into a style, you'd probably be able to see the clip, and aside from that, it may not stay securely in place. Therefore, it wouldn't look as attractive and could fall off your head at some point throughout the day.
Some schools with strict dress codes have banned hair that's not traditionally colored, and hot pink, purple and electric blue would fall into the category of non-traditional colors. Even though there's no dye involved with Luscious Locks hair extensions, teachers and administrators might consider someone wearing them to have colored their hair. Since children spend so much time at school, if these extensions were banned at your child's school, that child wouldn't get much use out of their extensions.
If you were to dye your hair a bright color all over, or even add streaks, you'd have to get a new box of dye every two weeks or at least once a month. However, if you were to choose to use Luscious Locks extensions instead, one of these may last you for several years before starting to look old. That would be like only having to get hair dye once every five years, while still maintaining your desired color—which is something that would never happen!
