First, after you've obtained one of these wallets, you can add up to 12 credit, debit or identification cards to it. You should slide the ID you're asked to show the most, such as your driver's license, into the transparent window pocket. This will allow you to make the ID visible to anyone who asks in just a second's time. Your other IDs and cards can go into the two side pockets, but don't put them in the middle pocket, as they may not be protected by the RFID-blocking panel while they're in there.
Next, add bills and coins to the center pocket of your wallet, which has been specifically designed for cash. However, avoid overloading the pocket so that it's bursting at the seams. If you've added less than 12 cards to your wallet's side pockets, you may have space for extra bills and coins in those.
Finally, once all the cards and cash that you need (and that your wallet can accommodate) have been added to it, slide it into the pocket, purse, or bag of your choice. Following that, you'll be ready to go about your day without feeling like you're carrying a medium-sized rock around or worrying about identity theft.
Each Lock Wallet Slim comes in a shade of basic black, which tends to be appealing to people of a wide variety of ages and genders. Even kids will be able to carry one of these wallets if they need to carry identification for some reason or are tired of carrying cash and coins in just a pocket.
These wallets also have an attractive classic leather look, so it's unlikely that their appearance will ever go out of style. While real leather will start to show wear and tear if it's not given a lot of care, though, the material used to make one of these wallets likely won't require as much care. It is a durable material, however, so you can expect your wallet to stay useful for at least a few years without ripping or falling apart.
Due to this type of wallet's ultra-slim design, it's more lightweight than other rectangular wallets are. The dimensions of each one actually aren't much larger than those of a credit card itself, and each full wallet isn't much thicker than 12 credit cards in a horizontal stack. When you decide to carry one of these wallets, even if it contains coins, you should expect to only add a couple of pounds or less to your load.
Some wallets still don't contain RFID-blocking shields. If you use one of those, that means potential identity thieves can gain access to the information contained within your ID and credit cards with their digital scanners. With that information, it logically follows that it may be easier for them to steal your identity (and likely your money, too). Fortunately, each Lock Wallet Slim does have a blocker to keep your cards protected, but it's so slim that it takes up hardly any space within each wallet. In fact, you may not even be able to see it when you look inside.
The Lock Wallet Slim comes with a pocket-sized magnifying glass with a built-in light. You'll be able to store this in the wallet if you have room, or anywhere else on your person or in your vehicle. It may come in handy at home or on the road if you need to look at documents with tiny print or need some illumination to see any document or object more clearly at night.
It's not specified that this wallet is machine washable, so you shouldn't take the risk of exposing yours to potential damage by running it through your washing machine. Instead, if it needs to be cleaned, remove all the cards from it so they don't get wet, and wipe it down with a cloth you've dampened with water. Be sure that you don't put any cards back inside until you know that the insides of your wallet's pockets are completely dry.
Some wallets have only a clip on the outside for cash, or their design is so bulky that the pocket for cash will hang open, creating the risk that some will fall out. If you're a person who often loses cash due to the design of your wallet, this likely won't happen anymore after you start using the Lock Wallet Slim. The wallet's been designed to stay flat, so your cash will remain securely in place in the center pocket, and as a result, you won't frequently find yourself replacing cash that's been lost.
