Lock bright is motion activated. When you come home late at night and everything is dark it will sense your hands near the door handle and turn on so that you can more easily find the keyhole. The decorative and discrete finish will blend nicely into almost any motif. You can use it on front doors, backdoors, side doors, apartment doors inside of a dark hallway, and even over hard-to-reach outlets in the dark corner.

The motion detection senses when you arrive home.
The unit is battery-operated and should last up to one year on a single battery.
There are no tools required for installation. It simply sticks to any surface. This means you can stick it directly onto your door no matter what the service and have it shine right above the keyhole.
It includes a photo sensor so that it doesn't come on during the day.
The physical light is not very wide, just a few centimeters wider then a door handle and subsequent key. With such a small design you can easily put it on any door.
When you purchase this light is available in three colors including silver, bronze, and gold.
The design features two separate light areas on either side rather than directly in the center. Having this nice balance means that the light is evenly placed around your keyhole so as to avoid any confusing shadows which might otherwise impede your ability to see the lock and open it.
When you purchase this item you also get the under light as a bonus gift. Utilizing the same technology the underlying is particularly advantageous because it is something you can place under something like a bed. Said smaller light fits underneath your bed such that you can safely see your way to the bed and back when it is late at night without having to turn on a bright light.
This is an ideal complement to the motion detection light because it too is motion activated so it will come on with the light facing downward rather than upward when you approach the bed. As such, it alleviates a great deal of frustration by accidentally waking up your partner having to turn on the light.
Even though there are three separate colors available there are not any additional designs. This means that the plane tilted design is the only one that you can purchase. For people who have very decorative homes with matching front doors, this might actually stand out rather than blend in.
There are no other sizes available so larger homes with wider doors or larger keyholes will not be able to benefit from the light. Alternatively, they might have to purchase more than one in order to effectively cover a wider space.
So far yes this unit does seem to work. You can successfully use it right over door although how hard you can slam that door each time you open and close it without shaking the light loose remains to be seen. Instructions stipulate that all you need do is place the unit against the service and it will stick however limited information is provided as to what sticky material is used. That being said it's is unclear whether any particular force might cause it to become loose.
