Tried it as a filler on wood horrible / tried it as a glue even worse / doesn't seem to work on anything not even fingers / my advise don't waste your time and money buy super glue at least sometimes it works and I know it glues fingers quite well.

The epoxy is high temperature, so it should work for you.
I will lazer bond hold on at hickey object were the light will not penetrat the joint.
