Jitter Ball is a multicolored dog toy that will move on its own across most flat surfaces. Each toy consists of a round blue ball affixed with green, yellow and red knobs that a dog can bat with a paw or use to carry the toy in their mouth. This ball is suitable for all dogs, regardless of breed, shape, or size. To activate it, all you'll need to do is press the small power button, and the toy will jitterbug across a variety of surfaces both indoors and outdoors.
The cost of Jitter Ball is $14.99 plus $4.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Jitter Ball by paying the extra shipping fee of $4.99 for a total price of $24.97. This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page which was taken offline due to Jitter Ball being discontinued. Jitter Ball may still be found for sale on Amazon or Ebay.
Once you press the small power button on your Jitter Ball and release the ball on a flat surface, it will start moving in random directions, enticing your dog to come and chase it. Its random changes in direction will prevent it from getting stuck in a corner or up against a piece of furniture or another object. As it moves, it'll shake and rattle, encouraging your dog to continue following it along its path.
Each Jitter Ball comes in bright colors, so when your dog sees one, they will likely be attracted to its vibrancy.
This toy is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It'll roll and "dance" across tile, wood flooring, and rugs indoors, plus pavement or grass outdoors. Hence, your dog won't have to skip playing with theirs if the weather's too bad for them to go outside.
Some toys will fall apart quickly when chewed, but the strong, rigid material used to make each Jitter Ball can withstand a fair amount of tugging, pawing, and chewing. Even the largest dogs around won't be able to destruct this one easily!
This ball is just a bit smaller than a standard baseball, so you'll be able to toss it in your car or your backpack when you want to take your dog to the park. You'll also be able to bring it along on trips to entertain your dog if the pooch goes with you.
Dogs who are bored with their surroundings and their usual toys may become depressed, but fortunately, having to follow the shifting path of the Jitter Ball will keep their brains active and engaged.
This ball will also help prevent a dog from becoming overweight or obese by encouraging them to get off the couch and move, even if they move slowly. If your dog's already overweight or obese, playing with this toy may help them take some of the excess weight off.
While Jitter Ball does shake and rattle, it doesn't make a huge amount of noise doing so in comparison to toys for children and pets that make animal sounds or giggle. If you're sleeping in one room, and your dog's playing in another, the toy is unlikely to keep you awake at night.
Kids may enjoy getting down on the floor or in the grass with their dog( s ) and playing with this moving ball, too. With this, the kids may get some beneficial exercise that they wouldn't get otherwise.
You may enjoy playing catch with your dog, but no one has time to do this all day long. When your dog's bored but you're too busy to play with them, passing them a Jitter Ball is a great solution, as they'll be able to chase it on their own for awhile.
Soft chew toys for dogs are popular, but if your dog is large or gets aggressive at playtime, they may rip one of these apart in hours.
Theoretically, grown cats and smaller dogs could play together with a Jitter Ball, but this isn't the ideal toy for cats. They may feel overwhelmed by its size.
