Absolute rubbish. When we eventually managed to cut the chips, put in microwave no instructions of course! Would like to know how you open the device to get chips out! Bloody rip off. Doubt there is any chance of getting money back after reading previous reviews!

Disgraceful

This Jiffy thing is the worst thing I’ve ever bought, like others, box torn when arrived, no instructions or second cutter, had to cut chips with a knife. Really, how are people like this allowed to trade with such a sham of a product, tried 5 times with different timings, and still no crispy chips, just a soggy heap of potato. Please take this off all sites, and stop taking people’s hard earned money for such rubbish!

I got exactly the same thing. Would really love to know how long to keep it in the microwave. This is Junk. I already had a French Fry cutter and it is a lot stronger than this. So disappointed. I am never buying anything on the internet again unless I am familiar with the product. Tired of buying Junk.

Jiffy Microwave Friesa

Just received and was excited to try. No cooking time included and no second set of blades or seasoning. I did not have strength to cut the fries, so I did not have to worry about cooking time. Wish I had read reviews before I ordered.

Truly Disappointed

I waited anxiously for this product. It seemed like it would be such a handy time-saving device. It reminded me of a gadget my mother had years ago. Well, it finally came and I couldn't wait to use it. Immediately I saw there were no instructions so I went online to see if there were a youtube video. I saw negative reviews right away but still wanted to see for myself. The negative reviews were all correct. The concept is great but the execution of making the product is very very substandard. The blades are so dull they wouldn't cut butter. I had to stand on the device to get it to go down to cut the potato and even then it DID NOT go all the way down. I had to pick the potato out with my fingers. Not only am I disappointed in the product, but I am also pissed that I spent my hard earned money on it! Anyone have suggestions for an alternate use so I will not have wasted my money?

Everyone is correct. Mine also came in a broken box that had tape on one torn spot so it was not from postal mishandling. The item was covered in dirt as it had been on the ground. What third world country did this come from? No instructions, even here on Google. I paid $35 for this beauty. Facebook needs to ban the advertisement. Pure garbage gadgets.

What a piece of Junk. Like everyone else says, there was no second cutter, spices or instructions. Who in hell would put metal objects into a microwave oven? Not only is this product mis-sold it is potentially lethal. Will be reporting this to Trading Standards. Breaches the Trades Description Act. Want a full refund.

Terrible Product

Terrible product that went straight to the trash after the first use. Don’t know what type of muscles you need to press down and complete the slicing. I ended up stomping on it. Then the “fries” after cooking we’re a soggy mess of potatoes stuck together that went to the compost can.

The Jiffy Fries is nothing but Junk. The box was all beat up, without a return address to return it. I only received one cutter with the thing. No recipe book, no seasoning packet, no second cutter. It does NOT cut potatoes, maybe it would cut warm butter. You should be ashamed to sale such trash. My husband cooked it for 4 minutes and everything was burnt, not eatable. Worst Product I Ever Bought!

I bought this product thinking I could save on cooking fries with oil on the stove which i hate greasing up the kitchen! I liked the fact that it was something that you could put in the microwave and no oil to be used in the process. I took it out of the box got a potato, cut it in half, and put it on the blade, and then proceeded to push down thinking it would be effortless and easy like demonstrated on TV. Well. I pushed and pushed and it would not go down through the blades! I even took it to work and got some guys to try to push on it and even they couldn't get it to push down and cut through the potato. Bottom line. Don't buy this product!

Microwaved for 6 mins to get a combo of burnt crispy bits and soggy mush, and a screw fell off in the micro. I hope you get rich from all the mugs that you are ripping off.

Jiffy Fries Fails

A friend bought me the Jiffy Fries french fry maker. It is a waste of money & a waste of time. I'm sure the videos do not reflect the reality. Both of us pushed down and a half of a potato couldn't get sliced . By putting it on the floor I stood on it and it did slice but the long beautiful potatoes for fries dont happen . They're short and stubby. After 6 minutes in a microwave they were still uncooked. Jiffy Fries went into the trash.

LOL LOL LOL

OMG, I had to have my 215 lb. Husband stand on the thing so it would cut the potato. Then it looked like mush, When I took it out of the microwave, there they were at the bottom of the cylinder "shrinkage"! As Seinfeld would say. I didn't get the steak fries blade either. Save your money people, your fries look nothing like they advertise.

Instructions

1. Does the cutting blade need to be removed before item is placed in the microwave? 2. How long does it take in a 1100-watt microwave?

Doesn't Work

No insructions with device, just a few pictures on the box. Nothing about how long to cook them. I cooked them for 4 minutes. They were edible but far from crispy. Would not recommend.

A Question

Does the potatoe need to be cooked first. When you see the adds you see steam coming off the potato and how long do you cook them for?

You can still buy this on Amazon------------- shame on them. I ordered the Jiffy Fries from them and paid $29 for this trash. I want my money back ASAP!
