Hover Tech Battle Fx is a challenging yet safe toy for kids to play with. Each set consists of eight soft, reusable foam darts, a plastic gun to shoot them out of, a charging cable, and a target that resembles an airplane. As you shoot at it with your darts, the airplane will actually bob and weave, due to high-tech sensors inside. No assembly is required to play with one of these sets, and you won't need batteries, either, as you can charge your target via your computer or tablet.
The cost of Hover Tech Battle Fx is $19.99 plus $7.99 shipping, for a total price of $27.98.

After making sure your target plane is charged and turned on, you can release it into the air to fly, where it'll stay for two minutes without coming down. If your target isn't charged, you'll need to plug it into your computer or tablet with the included USB cable for at least a few minutes.
Next, load four of your eight darts into your HoverTech Blaster (the included plastic gun) or any plastic gun that'll shoot out foam darts. The Blaster only offers space for four darts, so if you use it, you won't be able to load all eight at once.
Once your darts are loaded into your shooting tool of choice, aim at the target that's actively hovering in the air and attempt to shoot it. If you hit it, the computer within it will temporarily shut down, causing it to gently fall to the floor. Then, you can retrieve it for more target practice, as long as its charge hasn't run out.
Each HoverTech target contains high-tech sensors that will tell it to bob and weave throughout each set of two consecutive minutes it spends in the air. Having a constantly moving target will make hitting it more challenging, and perhaps more fun, than if the target were to stay stationary.
These target practice sets for kids each come with eight reusable foam darts. Since they're made of foam instead of plastic, wood, metal or some other super-hard substance, they won't seriously injure any person they come in contact with. Moreover, even if you play with your Hover Tech Battle Fx for years, you'll never need to replace any of them, unless you happen to lose one.
There's a gyroscope on top of each HoverTech target, which will make it fly smoothly and also make it coast to the ground smoothly after being hit. This will help it survive falling to the ground numerous times, without incurring any damage.
The blades on each target aren't sharp and will stop moving immediately after coming in contact with any person or thing. Therefore, they won't hurt anyone or damage any piece of furniture in the area in which you're playing.
Your target will only have a 30-minute life (including time spent on the ground and two-minute stints in the air), but you'll be able to recharge it again without putting your hands on any batteries. All you'll need to do is attach the smaller end of the included USB cable to the target and the other end to a computer or tablet, and then recharging will start.
When you obtain your first Hover Tech Battle Fx kit, you won't need to put any of the pieces together. You'll only need to charge your target, if necessary, and load your darts. After those two things are taken care of, you'll be able to start playing immediately.
It can be fun to play with one of these sets with friends, but if no friends are available at the time, it's perfectly fine to play alone, too. With only one target per set, some users may actually prefer to play alone and be the one who hits it each time. In the event that you do play with friends, you may be able to talk them into obtaining their own kits, so there'll be multiple targets in the air to hit.
Even for adults, playing with one of these target practice sets will help you improve your physical precision and accuracy. You may find this especially beneficial if you participate in a sport in which precision is essential, such as golf, archery, badminton or bowling. Starting out with one of these sets might even prepare a child for a later career in archery.
If you don't have a computer or tablet, or yours is broken, you won't be able to charge your HoverTech target since none of these sets come with a charger that'll plug into the wall.
When you're playing with one of these sets, be sure that you're far away from pets, such as cats and dogs, and babies. The foam darts won't seriously hurt an adult or school-aged child on contact but could cause a more serious injury to a smaller, more fragile creature.
Along the same lines, stay away from breakable objects like china and glassware while you're playing with your Hover Tech Battle Fx supplies. Most things won't break if hit by one of the foam darts in each set, but delicate objects such as porcelain statues and wine glasses are an exception.
