Hold A Plate is a small cocktail plate that'll attach to a variety of drinks so you won't have to put down your drink while you eat food, use your phone or shake hands. Besides using it at parties and other special events, you'll also be able to use one of these plates when you want to hold both your food and drink in one hand at home. These plates are durable and reusable and are available in black or white.
The cost of Hold A Plate is $10.00 plus $5.95 shipping, for a total price of $15.95. This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page found at buyholdaplate.com; however, the company has since ceased selling Hold A Plate and has taken down the website. Hold A Plate may still be found for sale on Amazon or Ebay.
To begin using this plate, you'll first need to hold it, along with a drink, separately. Keep in mind that it'll fit around a variety of drinking apparatuses, such as wine glasses, cans, party cups, and more.
In order to attach your plate to your drink, slide the pointer finger of the hand that's holding your drink into the groove that you'll see on one side of the plate. If you don't see a groove, the plate is probably upside down. Once, you've slid your pointer finger into the appropriate groove, use it to transfer the plate to the hand it has come from. Do not remove your pointer finger from the groove as you do so.
If you've followed the two steps above, you should now be holding both your drink and your plate in one hand. More specifically, your pointer finger should be holding onto the plate via its groove. You can simply stay like this for as long as you like and use your other hand to comfortably text, eat, or shake the hands of others.
These cocktail plates come in both black and white, so you'll be able to pick the shade that best matches your other dishes, or even get a set in each shade.
You'll be able to stack virtually any number of these plates for storage purposes, so they won't take up a great deal of space in a cabinet or drawer. You may also want to neatly stack some on a table or another piece of furniture if you're hosting an event.
Like most other dishes, Hold a Plate cocktail plates are reusable. You won't need to wash them by hand if you have a dishwasher, as they're safe to run through one of those.
These plates are free of the potentially harmful chemical BPA that is found in some plastic products.
You'll be able to use a Hold a Plate with almost any glass, cup, can, bottle, or mug, so you'll likely find yours useful on a variety of occasions at a variety of locations. These plates are so compact and lightweight that you'll be able to take at least one almost anywhere without difficulty.
Using one of these plates may prevent you from misplacing your drink at an event, as you won't need to put it down to free up one hand.
The Hold a Plate will hold up to one pound of food. That means even if you plan on eating a lot of appetizers at a party, you'll be able to carry quite a few around without going back to refill your plate.
Almost anyone will be able to find one or more uses for a plate like this, even if they just use it while watching TV, so it makes a great gift for almost any adult.
You need to have decent hand coordination in order to properly use one of these plates. If you don't, you may find that your finger slips out of its groove and your plate goes clattering to the floor.
When you're using your Hold a Plate, try to keep the food on it evenly spaced. If you place a lot of food on one side and not the other, especially if it's on the same side as your drink, the plate could tip over and food could fall off.
