The Hi-Def Creation System is a coloring set that contains 60 different Hyperstix—a new type of marker that's designed to produce intense, even color without streaking or fading—plus a blending tool and two coloring templates. This kit has been created with kids in mind, but teenagers and adults may have fun using one, too. You won't be limited to the coloring templates in each set, either, as you'll be able to use the markers of various colors to create your own designs.
The cost of Hi-Def Creation System is $14.99 plus $5.99 shipping, for a total price of $20.98.

To get started with one of these sets, choose one of the two color templates or get out a blank piece of paper to use to create your own image from scratch. You can use any ordinary piece of white or colored paper, such as those commonly used in printers, that you'd use to draw a picture with ordinary markers.
After your paper or template is ready, start coloring with your new markers, also known as Hyperstix. There are 60 of these in each set, so you'll have many colors of the rainbow to choose from. You'll notice that if you don't press extremely hard on the markers, vibrant color will glide out of them smoothly and evenly, similar to cream poured from a spout.
Once you finish creating a picture, to make it look even better, you can use your double-sided blending pen (known as the Fusion Blender) to blend all the colors together. Run the blending tool over your completed picture just as you ran the markers over your page when it was blank, and you'll notice that any white space disappears. You may also notice new and beautiful colors showing up within your image due to the blending.
When you're done with the blending tool, let your picture sit for a couple of minutes and then display it in a place of your choice. Even when looking at it from several feet away, you'll likely be able to see each part of the brightly colored image in high definition. At this point, you'll also be able to load all your Hyperstix back into the case they originally came in, to keep them safe and secure until you use them again.
Each Hi-Def Creation System comes with 60 Hyperstix in colors like red, blue, yellow, and pink, so the designs you make with them won't look monochromatic and boring. All the Hyperstix are also slim and fairly short, which means they won't be difficult for the vast majority of users to hold, even if they have child-sized hands.
All of these kits come with a black carrying case with slots for all the Hyperstix and a larger slot for the Fusion Blender. If you want to transport your kit to an alternative location, you'll be able to carry all these tools in the case instead of in your hands or in some random plastic bag. In the event that you're traveling as a passenger in a vehicle, your kit might be a fun and entertaining thing to use to pass the time.
If you're not that experienced with coloring, you may be happy to find out that each Hi-Def Creation System includes two coloring sheets with pictures already on them. You can use these to help yourself learn to work with your new Hyperstix without coloring outside of the lines. However, they can't be reused, so if you want more than one copy of a particular one, you'll have to photocopy it or scan it into your computer.
When you've colored with crayons or colored pencils, you may have noticed some white space left on your page since the wax and lead can't cover every single square millimeter. The Hi-Def Creation System will help remedy this issue, though, as it will blend the color from your Hyperstix together to eliminate each bit of white space that might be present. This will make each drawing you create look more professional than it would otherwise, and it may also garner more positive comments if you display one in your home or office.
It's common that the lead will break off colored pencils as you use them to create art, which could result in many uses of the pencil sharpener in your possession. Fortunately, you won't have to waste your time on a task like this when you use your Hyperstix since it's unlikely that they'll ever break. As a result, you'll be able to keep coloring continuously until you get bored with the activity.
The Hyperstix are similar to regular markers, but unlike standard coloring markers (especially lower-quality ones), they'll always release color evenly instead of creating blobs or streaks on your page. Due to this even color release, you won't find yourself coloring certain lighter parts of each drawing again to make them look as dark as the rest.
Even if you start using the Hi-Def Creation System by coloring the two included templates, having the kit will eventually encourage you to draw and color more creative pictures. You'll be able to use the Hyperstix within your kit to draw almost anything, such as sea scenes, castle scenes, various animals and virtually anything else your mind can dream up. If you're also into writing, you might want to use these coloring tools to create vibrant pictures to accompany your words.
It's not stated that the coloring tools within each kit are washable, so the Hyperstix could end up staining your skin, clothing or furniture. If that were to occur, the best way to remove stains created by them is also unclear. Adults might be able to avoid getting color on themselves or anything else by being careful, but excited children may not have this capability yet.
The Hyperstix within each Hi-Def Creation System will eventually run out, and it may not be clear when each one is going to do so. You could be in the middle of drawing a picture when it happens. When they're gone, you'll likely have to obtain entirely new replacements since it doesn't appear as if they can be refilled.
Some art enthusiasts, especially kids, may like to use paint for their work because of the intensity of the color that can come off a paintbrush. With the Hyperstix that come with each Hi-Def Creation System, however, you'll be able to make pictures that look as if they're painted, but without the set-up and clean-up that normally comes with painting. You'll no longer have to spend a considerable amount of time cleaning paintbrushes, setting up water (if needed with your chosen type of paint), and cleaning paint off yourself after an art session.
