These headpieces are adjustable to fit various head sizes and the eyes of each creature, which contain bright LED lights, can be pointed up, down, left or right.
The cost of Head Lites is $19.99 plus $6.95 shipping, for a total price of $26.94.

When you're ready to use your Head Lites headpiece, you'll need to make sure there are two AA batteries inserted in the headpiece before turning it on. If you're not sure how to insert your batteries, consult your included instruction manual.
As a final step before turning your headpiece on, place it on your head and adjust it for size. If you feel like it's too loose on you, read your instructions to find out how to make it fit more tightly. Each headpiece will adjust to fit a variety of head sizes and should fit virtually any child from four years old up to a teenager.
Once your headpiece is securely on your head, pinch the right ear in order to turn its lights on. As you do, the LED lights built into your headpiece's eyes will come on and provide you with bright light. At that point, you can tilt the eyes up, down or to either side in order to shine their light exactly where you need it.
When choosing a Head Lite, you can select one that makes you look like a shark, a bear, a unicorn, or a dinosaur. If you have a few siblings or friends whom you might play with your Head Lites with, it might be nice if each of you were to get one that resembles a different creature. You could always get all four on your own for variety's sake, too.
These headpieces contain LED lights that are just as bright as small lights of an alternative type but tend to last longer, even if used frequently. One pair of LED lights in one headpiece may end up lasting you for your entire childhood before burning out.
All of these Head Lites are soft, so if you end up falling asleep with one on your head, it won't make your sleep incredibly uncomfortable.
Although you shouldn't put one of these headpieces in the washing machine, you'll be able to hand-wash the surface of each if it happens to get covered with food, makeup residue or other dirt. Just make sure you stay away from the creature's eye area while wiping since water could interfere with the performance of the LED lights within.
If a child's afraid of the dark, they can wear one of these Head Lites, and it'll help assuage their fears so they won't have to turn on a larger overhead light or table lamp. While most larger lamps run by electricity and may keep a child awake all night, these headpieces require no electricity and aren't bright enough to trigger insomnia in most people.
Even if a child isn't afraid of the dark, they may want to use one of these headpieces as a reading lamp, especially if there are other people trying to sleep nearby. One of these Head Lites will provide them with enough light to see their book or e-reader, but it won't give off so much light that it'll disturb others.
Regardless of whether you're at home, at the cottage or at a campsite, wearing a light-up headpiece will make outdoor play much safer, as kids will be much less likely to trip and fall. Plus, it can be fun to run through trees, bushes or an open area pretending to be a dinosaur, unicorn, shark or bear. Not only will a child wearing one of these headpieces be able to see potential obstacles more clearly than they would otherwise, other people will also be able to see them coming.
Unfortunately, Head Lites aren't suitable for kids under four years of age. Mainly, this is because they'd be too loose on most toddlers' heads, but also, if a toddler was able to pull off one of the eyes, they might put it in their mouth and choke. Therefore, if an older sibling were to wear one of these hats, a toddler would probably have to watch in envy without joining in on the fun.
You'll need two AA batteries to operate the lights within each headpiece, but batteries aren't included with any of them, so you'll have to take care of that on your own. The headpieces can be worn without batteries inside, but then they just become stuffed animal heads that don't light up.
Each Head Lite will serve as a headpiece or a night light or both at the same time, and besides, they're soft and cuddly enough to be used as stuffed toys in bed. If you don't want to get your child a funny hat, a night light, and a new stuffed toy at once, you can get one of these headpieces instead, as it'll work as all three.
