Handy Brite is a cordless battery-operated flashlight that contains 20 long-lasting chips-on-board (COB) LED lights and will stand on its own while you use it. Each one also has a magnetic base, so you'll be able to securely attach it to any metal surface, such as the exterior of your car. The LED lights inside will last for more than 100, 000 hours without burning out and will give off enough light to fully illuminate at least a small room.
The cost of Handy Brite is $12.99 plus $6.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Handy Brite at the discounted price of only $6.99 for a total price of $26.97.

To get started with your Handy Brite light, you'll need to make sure there are 3 AA batteries inside it. You'll have to obtain and add these yourself, as they won't be included with any of these flashlights. If you have trouble getting your batteries inside your light, consult your instruction manual.
Once you've got your batteries installed, push down on the top of the large black power switch on the front of your light to turn it on. If you've got the batteries in there correctly, the flashlight should turn on immediately and provide you with white light.
Next, you'll have to decide whether you want to rest your flashlight on a flat surface, hold onto it in one hand, or pull out its built-in hook and hang it from something. If you're going to be using the flashlight for a long time, and want to keep both hands free for other tasks, the first and third options are ideal choices. If you decide to hang your flashlight up, a rack that normally holds pieces of clothing or tools might be a good place to hang it.
When you're finished using your flashlight, be sure to turn it off in order to preserve the life of the batteries. To do so, push down on the bottom half of the large black power button on the front, instead of pushing on the top. Afterward, you'll be able to store your flashlight in your toolbox or in almost any cabinet or large drawer.
Due to this flashlight's battery-operated nature, it's completely cordless and you'll never have to search for an available electrical outlet to plug it into. Therefore, you'll be able to use it in virtually any location, indoors or out. Furthermore, if you're used to using a plug-in desk lamp while performing household tasks, you'll enjoy being able to move this light around when needed.
The Handy Brite flashlight is about the same size as a standard water bottle and weighs less than one pound, so almost anyone will be able to carry it, including most children. If you take this flashlight on the road with you in your vehicle, it'll fit comfortably in your glove compartment, from which you can grab it at a moment's notice.
This flashlight is also weatherproof, which means that you'll be able to use it outdoors in the rain or snow without worrying about it getting damaged or its performance decreasing. Moreover, it's durable enough that if you drop it on the ground from a few feet up, it'll likely survive the drop with no change in its appearance or effectiveness.
Each Handy Brite light's handle has non-slip grip padding that'll help you hold onto it securely, even as you travel through dark areas, up or down stairs or across rough terrain. This flashlight's ergonomic handle is also an ideal size for most adults to hold in one hand.
Your Handy Brite flashlight will come with a magnetic base, so if there are any metal surfaces nearby as you use it, you'll be able to attach it to one of those at any angle. This option will come in handy when you're doing repairs on a car or some other motorized vehicle, and want to tilt the flashlight to see certain parts of the vehicle more clearly. You may also find the magnetic base useful if you've got your head under the sink as you fix metal pipes with both of your hands.
The 20 LED lights within each flashlight will glow for more than 100, 000 hours before they burn out, so your light may last you for decades, depending on how often you use it. To reach 100, 000 hours, you'd actually have to keep your light on continuously for almost 12 years! However, you should keep in mind that you will have to switch battery sets multiple times during your flashlight's life.
Many hand-held flashlights will only light up the area directly in front of them, while the Handy Brite flashlight will glow enough to light up a larger area, such as a small room (at least). That means you won't have to keep moving your light around to see everything in your environment, although that's always an option, too. Plus, you'll be able to balance this powerful flashlight on its base, while many compact flashlights don't balance very well and need to be held onto.
This flashlight is an ideal one to use while you're engaging in outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing and especially camping. You'll be able to use the flashlight's built-in hook to hang it from your camping tent or your fishing boat so that you won't be left completely in the dark, which will enhance your safety. While walking around in the dark, you'll also be safer with this flashlight than you would be otherwise, as you'll be able to see obstacles far in front of you.
As mentioned, the first set of batteries you use in your Handy Brite will burn out long before the LED lights inside it do. In fact, since the flashlight gives off a powerful 500 lumens of light when it's on, it'll actually use up batteries more quickly than a less powerful, less bright light. Having to replace your flashlight's batteries on a regular basis could become irritating to you, especially since you won't even receive your first set with your flashlight to start you off.
If you don't have a tool like the Handy Brite flashlight, you might choose to obtain an ordinary flashlight, plus several small lights to hang up on your stairs and in your closets and cabinets. In the event that you get one of these flashlights, though, you won't need so many other lights. When you have to go down a dark flight of stairs or reach into a dark cabinet or closet, you'll be able to use this flashlight by holding it, hanging it or standing it up. When you're done using it in one place, you'll be able to move it along to the next place you need it, instead of having to use another light. As an added bonus, using it will never increase your electricity bill, while the use of some other small lights will.

I bought two of these. The first one worked for about a year before the batteries got weak. I replaced them, and now there is a problem with the switch. It will not work properly and is basically useless. Today I opened the other one up and the light wouldn't go on. I replaced the batteries in that one as well, but it will not go on either.
I would not buy any more of them. Typical merchandise from China.

Love the design and light intensity when working, but short lived. Battery metal contact corrosion became a problem beyond cleaning repair. Yes, batteries we're installed properly. Guessing the metal used is too inferior for use and the light then simply becomes no longer functional.

I purchased 4 of these at a big box store last Christmas. All have died! Mine has probably been used 20 times and maybe a few hours of "light time".
Terrible product!

Bought the flashlight for $9.99. Save your money. Used a few times. New batteries does not work. Don't waste your money. I know $10 isn't like that much but no point for just a few uses.

The same thing happened to me! I tried multiple batteries and nothing worked. I loved this light when I first bought it. I paid $9.99@ Shop rite and I was going to buy a few more. Then it died.
Worked for a few weeks. Put new batteries in correctly. Will not work now. Invest in dollar store flashlight that will work longer.

Worked great the first couple times I used it. I went to use it about a month later and it wouldn't work. I checked the batteries and they were good but the metal bars that are between the batteries were corroded. I scraped the rust off and the light worked only if you rolled the batteries. The batteries were not leaking. Now the light won't work at all.
Has anybody else had this problem?
