Gotham Steel Hammered Pans are cooking pans that are made of titanium and have inner ceramic coatings. These pans come in sets of four, and although all the pans are round with stay-cool handles, they come in various sizes and depths. It's claimed that due to each pan's non-stick surface, any food item will slide right off after it's been cooked. Each pan is also stated to be dishwasher safe and free of the potentially harmful chemical compound known as PFOA.

The non-stick ceramic inner surface of each pan means that you'll never have to coat any of these pans with a lubricant such as oil, butter or a manufactured cooking spray before using it. Instead, even sticky, gooey foods like eggs, cheese or even marshmallows will slide right off onto your chosen serving plate, and you'll be able to quickly wipe off any food residue afterward.
Aside from the stovetop, you'll be able to use any of these pans in your oven, as long as the temperature isn't any higher than 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Therefore, you'll be able to use one or more of the pans to cook things you normally wouldn't cook on your stovetop, such as round cakes or other sweet desserts.
Each of these pans has a generously sized handle that's wider at the end you'd hold onto than it is at the other, which will make your grip more secure than it otherwise would be. Plus, no matter how hot the pans they're attached to get, all of these handles will remain cool to the touch, so you won't burn your fingers as you hang onto them. When you need to transfer any sort of hot liquid to a serving dish, you can simply hang onto the handle and pour, instead of taking the time to use a ladle.
Metal utensils can permanently scratch up the inner coating of some cooking pans, which will also increase the risk that a particular coating might end up in your food. However, that won't be the case with the Gotham Steel Hammered Pans. No matter what metal utensils you use in one of these pans, the ceramic coating inside will stay perfectly intact without flaking off. As a result, if you've already got metal utensils, you won't have to go out and get some plastic or wooden ones to use in these pans.
You'll likely find that at least one of the pans in your set will be useful at every meal, from breakfast all the way to dessert. The set can be used to cook a wide variety of food items for a single person, a couple or a family, from meat to vegetables to soups and more. Since people end to eat more at dinnertime, you may want to use the largest, deepest pan in your set to cook dinner dishes. On the other hand, one of the smaller, more shallow pans might work better at breakfast or lunchtime.
Some kitchenware made today still contains a potentially harmful chemical compound known as PFOA, which could be toxic to humans, if ingested. Fortunately, the Gotham Steel Hammered Pans do not contain this chemical compound, so you can use them with the knowledge that you won't be exposing yourself (or anyone else you cook for) to toxicity.
With some cooking pans, you may have to spend many minutes scrubbing sticky food residue off of them before transferring them to your dishwasher. You won't have to do that when you use this type of pan, though, since you'll be able to wipe any food residue off in seconds before you load one of them into the dishwasher. If you don't have a dishwasher, you'll have to fully wash each one with soap and water, but due to each pan's non-stick coating, this may not take as long as it otherwise would.
None of the Gotham Steel Hammered Pans come with lids, which could be a drawback if you want to avoid the splattering of food or hot water on your stovetop. You could try and find a suitable lid for one of these pans on your own, but you might have difficulty finding one of an ideal size and shape. Moreover, due to the lack of lids, if you use any of these pans to store leftovers, you'll need to use alternative coverings to protect them, such as plastic wrap or tin foil.
The single handle found on each Gotham Steel Hammered Pan appears to be quite sturdy, but it would be even better if each pan were to have two stay-cool handles. That way, you could hold onto both sides of a pan at once without burning your skin, which would further reduce the risk that you'd spill the food inside the pan. Presently, if you want to hold onto one of these pans with both hands, you'll need to use an oven mitt or potholder to protect one of your hands from the heat.
These pans should not, under any circumstances, be used in the microwave. If you want to cook something quickly in the microwave, you'll need to find alternative cookware. Even if each pan's material was microwave-safe, each one's fairly large handle would prevent it from fitting into the vast majority of microwaves, anyhow.
If you want to cook four different dishes at dinnertime, and you have four burners on your stovetop, you'll be able to use the four pans in this set to cook everything at once. Without a set of pans like this, you might have to cook the separate dishes in shifts, and the ones from the first round might be cold by the time you're done with the second. Along the same lines, if you've only got three different dishes to cook on your stovetop, you may want to use your fourth pan to start your dessert in the oven. Therefore, it'll be cool enough to eat after you're done your dinner, without being stone-cold. With fewer minutes in total spent cooking, you'll also have more energy to enjoy your dinner and participate in the subsequent cleanup.
Those people who use low-quality pans with inner coatings that tend to flake may find themselves replacing pans every few months, as it's unsafe to eat food from a pan with a flaky coating. You won't have to do this once you start using Gotham Steel Hammered Pans, however, since their inner coatings have been designed not to flake or otherwise get damaged, even when exposed to metal utensils.
