Hair Hatty is a knit hat that's been created as a tool for you to attach up to four different realistic-looking, lengthy hair extensions to. The aim of the hat is to allow you to try out new hair colors without using dye and to cover up your real hair when it's not looking its best. This hat comes in three different shades, and there are four different-colored hairpieces that you'll be able to choose from when it comes to attaching one to your hat.
The cost of Hair Hatty is $119.80 plus $8.95 shipping, for a total price of $128.75.

The first thing you'll need to do is choose whether you want a natural (off-white), black or army green hat and whether you'd like a blonde, red, brown or black hairpiece. You can always get multiples if you're finding it hard to pick.
In order to attach your chosen hairpiece to your hat, you'll need to turn the knit hat inside out.
Once your hat is turned inside out, line up the Velcro strips on your hairpiece with the bottom edges of your hat and fasten the two together. After that, remember to also turn everything right-side out so that the Velcro can't be seen.
Finally, you'll be able to put your Hair Hatty on your head, where it should look like an ordinary knit hat with fairly long hair hanging from the sides and back. It's fine to leave this hair down long, but you can also braid it, put it in a ponytail, curl it or straighten it if you'd like.
The main reason that the Hair Hatty hairpieces look so realistic is that they're made up of six layers of hair, which gives them a lot of thickness. Plus, each one will make your hair appear to be about 22 inches long once it's been fastened inside your hat. Therefore, unless your natural hair is incredibly long to start with, it'll be unlikely to stick out from underneath.
Just like regular hair, your hairpiece(s) will be washable, although you shouldn't wash one in a machine. Since you may not want to wash your hat at the same time, your best bet is to separate the hat from the attached hairpiece and wash the hairpiece with shampoo (or soap) and water. You might find that you don't need to wash your hairpieces as often as you wash your natural hair since you probably won't be wearing any one hairpiece for a full 24 hours. Once you've washed one, you should hang it to dry.
If you want to curl the hair from one of your hairpieces with a curling iron or make it even straighter with a flat iron, you'll be able to do so. Just make sure the device you use for curling or straightening purposes never gets any hotter than 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Otherwise, it might burn the hair.
Aside from cutting and styling your Hair Hatty hairpieces, you'll also be able to cut them with ordinary scissors if you'd like to. However, you should keep in mind that this effect isn't reversible, so if you make your hairpiece too short, it'll be like that permanently.
In addition to allowing you to try out different colors of hair, the Hair Hatty knit hat is stylish in its own right. It'll also help keep your head warm in the winter if you happen to live in a cold climate. Furthermore, the three shades the hat comes in will look nice with most outfits, regardless of the season.
Dying your hair to attain a new color may take about an hour, but using one of your hairpieces to get a new color will only take about 30 seconds. Along the same lines, having hair extensions added will typically take at least a half an hour, while lengthening your hair with Hair Hatty will take a quick 30 seconds yet again.
If you don't like your natural color of hair or like to change the color frequently, getting a dye job done every month or so may dry out and damage your hair over time. There won't be any risk of that if you use your Hair Hatty to get a new look, though, as the hat and any hairpieces you use will barely touch your natural hair. As a result, you won't have to obtain a bunch of styling products to restore your hair's original volume and shine.
Hair loss, for whatever reason it might occur, can be embarrassing. You may be able to hide your hair loss from at least some of your acquaintances, however, by wearing one of these hats and a hairpiece. Unless you go to a place in which removing your hat is necessary, it's unlikely that anyone will ever find out that the hairpiece isn't naturally growing from your head.
This hat-and-hairpiece system has been designed with women in mind, and it isn't ideal for men since most men still seem to prefer short hair. To make the set more appealing to them, and to women who prefer short hair, too, it would be nice if some shorter hairpieces could be added to the lineup.
There's no way to attach Hairy Hatty hairpieces directly to your head, so if you want to wear them, you'll need to wear the included hat. While the hat may not look out of place in most situations, you could get some funny looks if you decide to wear it at the beach. You might also be asked to take it off at work or in school.
Ther results that Hair Hatty provides aren't even close to permanent, which may come as a shock to someone who gets close to you but only sees you in the hat. If you wear the hat out in public with someone you're dating, but then invite them to your home and take the hat off, they could be very surprised by your differing appearance.
You can cut, style and wash your hairpieces, but don't bother adding any additional color to them, as this isn't specified as being safe. If you were to add blue streaks or some other wild flash of color to one of the hairpieces, it might be difficult to wash out and might even damage the hairpiece for good.
