Guard Llama is a small security device that works with an app on a turned on smartphone to alert police if a person is in an emergency, and needs immediate assistance. This product uses Bluetooth technology to send a signal of the user's GPS position, photo, and medical information to the Emergency Dispatch Center. The friends and family on the app's contact list are, also, alerted that the user is having an emergency situation and needs help.
Guard Llama is a security device that is small and easy to handle. It only takes two presses of a button to activate it. Once activated, a signal goes out through the app on the user's smartphone. The GPS location goes to the police. This security device does not require that the user's smartphone be turned on before it is able to be used. There's no need to struggle with unlocking the smartphone before it is able to be used. Guard Llama notifies friends and family that have already been stored on the app. There's no need for contacting 911.
This product is a security device that upon two pushes of a button can immediately send information to people that can help in an emergency. It is used in conjunction with a smart phone. There is no need to unlock the phone for the app to work. In fact, the smartphone can be up to 150 feet away from the device, and the device will still work. The GPS generated by the device will pinpoint the location of the user within nine feet. Medical information, also, will be sent through the app on the user's smartphone.
The security device works in conjunction with a smartphone that is no more than one hundred and fifty feet away from it. Guard Llama will not work if the smartphone is too far away. It, also, will not work if the smartphone is turned off. This potential extra step of locating the smartphone and turning it on negates a big part of the usefulness of the product. In order for the app to work correctly, and the GPS location be obtained, Bluetooth must be enabled on the smartphone. If Bluetooth is not enabled on the smartphone, Guard Llama won't work.
Yes it does really work. This security device is extremely popular with realtors who must show houses to complete strangers. Satisfaction with Guard Llama is very high with this group of professionals who have actually had an ongoing need for a discrete but handy security device which hangs from a key chain. Other users with medical conditions have had to use the product, and report it worked to get fast help when help was needed most. This product has been tested to work in all fifty states. Police get to the user faster because a photo of the user is also sent along with the user's medical information and GPS location.
The app that will act as a mini dispatcher must first be downloaded on the user's smartphone. It will be paired with Bluetooth to the security device prior to any use.
A photo of the user, medical information, and contact informations wil all have to be paired with the app. Once the app is ready to work, the smartphone must have Bluetooth enabled. The user must remember to turn on the smartphone.
Once the smartphone has the app and all the setup is complete, the device is ready to use in any emergency. When an emergency arrives, all that needs to be done is to press the button twice on the security device. The police will then be on the way to help.

I'm sick of scammers! Our company has filed a complaint with the AG because Guard Llama is charging fees for using the device but they are no longer in business, won't answer calls, the number no longer in service.

This product was trouble from the start. Guard Llama never sent the fob until I disputed the claim with my credit card company. After about 45 days I received the product. The iphone app does not work. The support phone number is disconnected and joe@guardllama.com never replies to emails. If I could give this product less than a one-star review I would. Do not buy this product. It is a scam.

I keep getting a notice from Guard Llama that my credit card has been denied. I have a new bank card, and have tried repeatedly over the past MONTH to relay that information, but get no callback. I don't know what else to do.

This product is a complete scam. I used the fob to activate the app while I was being mugged at gunpoint. I did not receive a phone call from them before the mugger took my phone. I ran inside to call Guard Llama assuming the GPS on my phone would be getting tracked, as advertised. I went to call Guard Llama, but they do not have a phone number on their website. I had to send an email. Two days later someone responded to the email and offered to call me but refused to provide a phone number so that I could call them. They did call but I didn't pick up because the call came from a employees personal phone and not a professional business phone number. I still don't know if the fob activated the app, they won't answer that question via email. So, if you are in actual danger this product is not reliable and the customer support is slow and unhelpful.

Buy GuardLlama if you like to get scammed. They automatically charged me for a 2nd full year's subscription, without any notifications or heads up. When I emailed them back to let them know I no longer need the service and I wanted to cancel (just 3 days later), they told me they cancelled the service but would not issue a refund. So now I have no service AND they want to keep my money? Run, don't walk away from this unethical company.

I've have this for over two weeks. I am unable to set it up because the app insists that I pay for the subscription again. I have written to them, I have called multiple times and they have completely blown me off! Maybe this is a great product, but I would not know. I just called again and told her I was not going to wait for another callback because I've yet to get a callback. So, she acted like she was getting someone and said she'd be calling me back in two minutes. I still have yet to hear from anyone. Clearly, this company is a scam.

I must say that immediately after my review. I received a call from Adam who was concerned regarding my issue. He was very helpful, is sending the refund, and also mentioned that the service will work as long as the Bluetooth is connected. An important piece of information to know. Thanks Adam for your prompt response.
Respectfully,
Francis Godschalk.

I have tried to contact autumn, ( the sale agent who sold me this devise ) several times thru email with no response. I purchased a fob and the service for $99.00. And was told that if my remax logo was forward to Guard Llama I could write this off on my taxes for 2 yrs. She set up my phone to have the Guard Llama app on it. It does not work, it continually stops and I’m unable to get it to work. Nor have I received the fob with the logo on it. So. How do I get a refund for purchasing a non-useful product lori?
Would someone, anyone who represents this product call me, or email me if you're unable to reach me by cell. Better yet I wish a refund be forward to re / max north san antonio, 8131 w. Hausman rd. San antonio, tx. 78249 attn: francis godschalk
