How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Place on Flat Surface

Before you can start using your multi-cooker, you'll need to place it on a flat surface, such as a table or countertop. When you select your location, be sure that there's a standard electrical outlet nearby.

  2. Add Pot and Collector

Next, open the lid of the multi-cooker and add the removable cooking pot. You should also add the condensation collector, a smaller device that will attach to one side of your cooker and collect excess moisture, at this time. If you're unsure as to how to add either the collector or the pot, consult the included user's manual and quick start guide.

  3. Transfer Food to Pot

Once your pot is inside your cooker and the condensation collector has been added, you can begin gathering solid or liquid food to add to the multi-cooker's pot. If you don't have a recipe in mind, you'll likely be able to find a multitude of recipes that you can make with a multi-cooker or slow cooker online.

  4. Close Lid and Plug Device In

After food has been added to your device, be sure to place the lid on top and twist it shut. It's a self-locking lid, so it won't pop open again until the device senses that your cooking job is done, based on the settings you choose within the next step. Aside from adding the lid, you must also make sure your device is plugged into electricity before you proceed.

  5. Adjust Timer or Press Button

Depending on what food items you've added to your multi-cooker, you can either press the appropriate button on the front of the device or set its timer yourself. If you set the timer, you should also adjust the pressure level within the device by using the plus and minus buttons. With one of the preset cooking function buttons, you'll automatically get a suitable cooking time and a suitable level of pressure.

  6. Serve Food

When your multi-cooker is done cooking the food inside, the timer will go off and it should be ready to serve.

How It Works

The Granitestone Multi-Cooker works so effectively because users are able to choose between high-pressure and low-pressure cooking. If your priority is cooking food quickly, you'll want to choose a higher-pressure setting. On the other hand, if you need to tenderize certain food items and want to bring out their flavor as strongly as possible, a lower-pressure setting is better. It all depends on what you'll be cooking and how much time you have. To keep things simple for yourself, you can also choose one of the preset cooking functions that come with a built-in pressure level. Regardless of which setting you choose, your food will remain flavorful.

  • Holds Six Quarts

No matter what food items you're working with, each Granitestone Multi-Cooker will hold six quarts of food, which will typically be enough to feed a family. As a result, unless your family is incredibly large, you'll likely only have to cook one batch of food per meal instead of cooking multiple batches in shifts.

  • Keep-Warm Setting

Each of these multi-cookers has a keep-warm setting that can be accessed with a press of one of the buttons on the front of the device. To cancel the keep-warm function, all you'll need to do is press the same button again. This function will come in handy if you're done cooking food for yourself or a group of people, but they're otherwise occupied and aren't quite ready to eat yet.

  • Compatible With Metal Utensils

Metal utensils will scratch up some kitchenware, which could make flaky bits of inedible material appear in your food. That's not the case with the Granitestone Multi-Cooker, though, which is compatible with metal utensil use and won't get damaged by these tools. Although the lid of the device will lock itself after you select a cooking function or set the timer, you'll be able to twist it off yourself and use utensils inside the pot, if needed.

  • Rice Paddle Included

On a related note, a rice paddle is included with each of these cooking devices, although these rice paddles aren't made of metal.

  • PFOA Free

The removable pot that fits within each of these multi-cookers is free of the potentially harmful chemical compound known as PFOA. This compound may be toxic for humans to ingest, but it's still included in some of today's cookware products.

  • Non-Stick Pot

Perhaps just as importantly, the removable pot included with each Granitestone Multi-Cooker also has a non-stick nature. That means any food residue can be wiped out of it quite quickly, and you won't have to deal with stubborn food (such as melted cheese or sauces) clinging to its sides or bottom.

Positive Points

  • Can Cook Healthy Meals

If you're often busy, you might end up consuming high-fat, high-calorie foods at restaurants since they taste good and relieve you of the responsibility of cooking at home. However, you'll be able to prepare good-tasting meals with your Granitestone Multi-Cooker, and you'll also be able to control exactly which ingredients go inside the cooking pot. That way, you can more effectively keep excess fat and calories that may add inches to your waistline out of your meals.

  • Uses Less Energy Than Oven

Food that's cooked in the oven might taste delicious, but ovens often consume a lot of energy, while a multi-cooker like the Granitestone will use far less electricity. If you're trying to reduce your electric bill, a multi-cooker is an ideal choice, especially since food cooked within one will taste similar to oven-cooked food.

Critical Advice

When you're cooking with your Granitestone Multi-Cooker, never fill the inner pot more than half full of water, regardless of what recipe you're following, as this might make your food overly soggy. You must also be careful not to fill the multi-cooker with too much food, or the food might spill over the edges once it's cooked and you open the lid. Furthermore, in relation to water usage, it's a good idea to remove the condensation collector from the side of your device and rinse it after each use, too.

Fake Reviews

How could this have 3 out of 5 stars except that the company itself is adding fake reviews? The stories about the returns are correct. My neighbor bought this and it was going to cost her 80 USD to return it so she threw it away. There needs to be an oversight committee set up to stop foreign Junk from being sold.

E4 ?

Trying to use the rice button for 12 min per ser. After a few seconds, it starts beeping and E4 is displayed. The lid is locked, I tried different plug-in sockets, the pressure valve is in the right position. I am frustrated, to say the least. I didn't know what's wrong and your customer service sucks. A ton of ou their products on one number all. Except for mine. This was not an inexpensive item. Also for newbies to pressure cooking like me a few basic recipes would have been nice
I looked at the troubleshooting page and nothing can tell me what E 4 means! Not happy at all!
