Go Fan Flip is a portable fan that's been designed to be held in a user's hand. Its design will also allow it to rest on its base on a flat surface, such as a table. This hand-held fan has been made by the same company that manufactures Go Fan, a portable round desktop fan, but it appears to be even smaller than its predecessor. Each blue and white fan with its soft, child-safe blades comes with a USB cable for recharging purposes.
The cost of Go Fan Flip is $14.99 and the shipping is FREE!
Your fan will likely come at least partially charged, but if you want to fill it with the maximum amount of power possible, you should flip it open and fully charge it yourself. To do so, pick up the included USB cable. Plug the larger end into a functioning USB port, such as one that's built into your laptop or desktop computer, and plug the smaller end into your fan. After a few hours have passed, or perhaps even sooner, it should be fully charged.
When you're done charging your fan, you can leave it flipped open or flip it shut again so that it's more compact. Either way, when you want to use the fan, you'll have to flip it open and use the round blue power button on the front to turn it on. Once it's turned on, you can use the power button to cycle through the different available speeds until you find the one you like the best. If you accidentally touch the blades at any point, you don't have to worry since they won't be sharp enough to hurt you.
After you're done using your fan for a while, hold down the power button to turn it off once again. If you're at home or at work, you can leave it flipped open while it's resting on a flat surface, but if you'll be traveling with the fan, it's best to flip it closed. This will save you space in your handbag, backpack, briefcase, or vehicle, and help protect the fan's blades from any damage they might otherwise incur.
Each Go Fan Flip is only about the size of a hair straightener or a small blow dryer, which means it's smaller than many other portable fans on the market. No matter where you place your fan—whether that's inside on your work desk, outdoors on a patio table, or somewhere else—it'll only take up a few inches of space in any direction. Once it's been folded up for storage, it'll take up even less space than that.
The body of each fan is white, with blue accents, and the blades of each fan are blue. This color scheme will make it look attractive while it's sitting in a wide variety of locations, both indoors and out. Since blue and white are popular decorative colors, you might even find that the fan matches the furniture inside a particular room you're using it in.
When this type of fan is charged, you'll be able to hold it in just one hand without being concerned about dragging along an extension cord and searching for an available electrical outlet. This makes it an ideal fan to be used when you're camping, riding in the car, or even taking a walk or jogging outdoors. As long as you have access to a USB port, which many vehicles and the vast majority of laptops contain these days, you'll be able to recharge it in virtually any location.
The Go Fan Flip offers multiple speeds, so when you're very warm, you can turn it up to the highest speed available, and use a lower speed when you want just a bit of cooling.
The blades of each of these fans are soft instead of sharp, which makes this a good type of fan for children to use. If a child were to accidentally touch metal blades while they were turning, they might get cut, but touching this fan's soft plastic blades will leave a child unharmed.
When you're on the go, having your Go Fan Flip with you may make you look better than you otherwise would. If you've got an important meeting, appointment, or interview to attend, and you're sweating, you can simply turn on this fan to dry your face and cool yourself down. This may be especially helpful if you're wearing makeup and it has started to run. Just remember to hold the fan about a foot away from your face so its impact isn't too aggressive on your face or your hair.
As long as it has a partial or full charge itself, this fan can also be used to charge your smartphone if it runs out of power unexpectedly. The only thing you'll need is a compatible charging cable that you can plug into both your phone and your fan at the same time. Once you sit for at least several minutes with the devices connected, you should find that the fan has transferred at least a bit of power to your phone so it can be used again.
If you're wandering around and you don't need your fan, but you don't want to put it away, or you don't have anything nearby to store it in, the included carrying strap can help you. This strap will fit around one wrist and allow you to carry the fan around while it's folded up. Keep in mind that the strap is adjustable, so you must pull it fairly tight to stop the fan from falling off your wrist. However, you shouldn't pull it so tight that it irritates your skin.
While it's helpful that this type of fan comes with a carrying strap, the lack of a carrying case may be a problem for some users. The fan is unlikely to get damaged if it's folded up, but if you want to prevent it from picking up dust and dirt as it sits anywhere, you'll have to provide your own case. Ideally, so this wouldn't be necessary, a case of an appropriate size and shape with a bit of protective padding inside would be included with each portable fan.
Without a fan like the Go Fan Flip, you might choose to plug a different type of small fan into an electrical outlet instead, which could drive up your electricity bill. On the other hand, since the Go Fan Flip runs via the power of an inner rechargeable battery, you won't need electricity to use it at all. You will need electricity to charge the battery, but if you charge it via your computer while it's already turned on for other purposes, no extra electricity will be required.
