Each compact fan has an attached stand that's been designed to double as a clip that can be attached to certain surfaces. How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Charge Fan

Before you begin using your fan, you should charge it for at least a couple of hours. To do so, plug the smaller end of the included USB cable into the back of the fan and the slightly larger end into a functioning USB port.

  2. Fill Fan With Water (optional)

Once your fan is done charging, and you've unplugged the charging cable, it'll be ready to run for up to six consecutive hours. However, if you want it to produce a mist instead of ordinary air, you'll have to fill its inner reservoir with water, via the small hole on the fan's front. To avoid spilling, it's best to use a plastic or glass dropper bottle to fill it, although you can use a larger bottle (with a higher risk of spillage) if you don't have a dropper.

  3. Set up Fan

Next, set up your fan wherever you want to use it. You can use its stand to place it on a flat surface, such as a table or countertop, or use the stand as a clip to clip the fan to an object. Objects the fan can be clipped to include the handlebars of a bike or the top of a slim railing. The fan can also be angled upward, downward, or to either side in order to send air (or misty air) in a particular direction.

  4. Turn Fan on

With your fan set up, you'll be able to use the button on the back of it that's furthest to the left to turn it on and cycle through the different available speeds. After you find one that suits your preferences, use the right-hand button to turn the misting function on if you'd like to use it. The same button can also be used to turn it off if you get tired of the mist.

  5. Turn Off and Store

When you're done enjoying the breezy air coming from your fan for a while, turn it off by using the button that you used to turn it on. Store it in a cool, dry place.

How It Works

Some powerful fans are too bulky to take anywhere, while other fans are highly portable but don't produce a lot of power and must be held in one hand. Fortunately, with its combination of 360-degree spinning technology and its rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Go Fan Cool Mist option is both powerful and portable. When you turn it on, its 360-degree technology will enable you to adjust it to any angle you prefer, so it'll shoot breezy or misty air in any direction you choose. Meanwhile, the fan's long-lasting rechargeable battery will allow you to detach it from electricity and carry it almost anywhere with you—inside the house or out. Due to the fan's attached stand that'll double as a clip, you'll consistently be able to use it with both hands completely free.

Features

  • Compact

At about the size of a soup bowl, this fan is compact enough that it'll fit in most backpacks or large handbags, as long as they aren't crammed full of other items. That means you'll be able to carry your fan with you while you're on the go and pull it out wherever you need it, such as at the office or at the gym. If it's incredibly hot outside, you may even want to take it out at the park and use it as a personal cooling station.

  • Works Quickly

After you turn this fan on, regardless of whether you're using the misting function or not, you can expect it to cool your immediate area down quickly. In fact, in minutes, it may make the temperature in your immediate area drop as much as 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Adjustable Speed

Some days, you may want a heavy breeze or mist blowing directly at you, while on other days that may be a bit cooler to start with, a light breeze may suit you just fine. For that reason, this fan's design incorporates the ability to cycle between different speed settings that'll suit different situations. Aside from considering the natural temperature around you, you might also want to use a lower speed setting if you're trying to keep your fan as quiet as possible.

  • Hands-Free Design

By clipping your fan to an object or resting it on its stand, you'll ensure that you'll never have to hold onto it with either hand as it cools you down. The fan's clip has been crafted to lock securely into place so you can even clip your fan to a moving object, such as a bike, without worrying that it'll fall off. If you do want to carry your fan around at any point, though, a plastic handle that'll allow you to do so is attached.

Positive Points

  • No Electricity Necessary

As mentioned, this type of fan is powered by a lithium-ion battery, so as long as the battery is charged, you'll never need electricity to use the fan. That makes it a good fan to take on a trip, especially if you don't know how long you'll be on the road, or you're headed to a cottage or campsite with no electricity. If you need to recharge the device's battery after a few hours of use, and you've got a charged laptop with you, you'll be able to plug it directly into the laptop's USB port.

  • Limits Need for AC

Those people who want to keep cool on hot summer days, but can't afford air conditioning or don't want to bother installing a unit may be satisfied with this particular fan. If you go for this option, you'll be able to use the fan to cool your immediate area, instead of cooling your entire home when you really don't need to. Furthermore, when you change locations in your residence, the fan's portability will give you the option of carrying it around with you.

Warnings

  • Fill With Water Only

Never pour any other liquid besides water into the inner reservoir of your fan. It's been designed to hold water only, so even if you think that a fragrant mist of perfume would be something you'd enjoy, don't bother trying this out. Filling the reservoir with a liquid other than water could damage the inside of the fan and render it unusable.

Doesn’t Recharge

Loved it while it was working, but after a couple of weeks, it quite charging. Noticed a lot of people on here having the same problem. Did you purchase Junk batteries to put in them? I noticed there’s no name and very little information on them. Can’t even purchase another battery because I don’t know what kind or size or anything.

After 3 Uses fan Only Worked when Plugged In

I was so excited about this product when I saw a friend using it. I bought one and loved the fan. Bought 3 more to give as gifts. Then after just 3 uses the fan wouldn’t charge and only worked when plugged in. I called Spark innovators but they would not help me unless I purchased it thru them. I was told to just take it back to where I bought it. I thought this was terrible customer service so I guess I will be returning the product to the company which I purchased. I am sure many of these fans are being returned for the same reason.

Don’t Waste Your Money

Bought one and loved it so I bought a second one three days later. Within three weeks one completely stopped working. A couple of days later the second one stopped working. Spark innovations refused to do anything about the situation.

The same thing happened to me. Spark Innovators sponsor retailers and then don’t back them up when you purchase from the retailer. I thought that was terrible customer service.

Fan Won't Work off Battery

The first time I tried to use it the fan worked as long as it was plugged in to a USB but would not work off the battery. The mister works with the battery so what could be the problem?

There is a clear rubber tab at the top front of the fan face (at 12 o’clock position). Just pull it up and you will see the hole underneath the tab in which to add water.
