Is My Pillow Giza Dream Bed Sheets a scam or a great buy?
My Pillow Giza Dream Bed Sheets are special sheets that use cotton grown in a particular region of Egypt between the Sahara Desert, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Nile River. This is long-staple cotton which is meant to be incredibly soft and creates very comfortable sheets. Many customers have come forward to claim that these are the coziest sheets they have ever used. The product is available in all sizes, and also in 13 different colors.
These sheets are supposed to be made of special cotton grown in an area in Egypt between the Sahara Desert, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Nile River. Apparently in this region, it's possible to grow particularly soft and high-quality cotton.
The product includes a fitted sheet with fully enclosed elastic hems. It simply keeps the sheet securely tucked and unlikely to come loose while you're moving around in bed. It's a helpful feature.
All of the flat sheets and pillowcases have a 4-inch hem. This really prevents the fabric from unraveling, so the sheets are more likely to last for longer.
A sateen weave is a fabric which uses a satin weave but with spun yarns instead of filament. It creates sheets with an incredibly soft feel to them.
This company does offer a 60-day money-back guarantee, but they also have a 10-year warranty on their product. That's a lot of certainty and faith in the lasting power of the product if they are willing to bet on the sheets lasting at least 10 years.
The manufacturer isn't the only one who states that these sheets are incredibly comfortable. Customers on the official website have also testified to this fact, with a lot of emphasis. Some users have said these are the most comfortable sheets they have ever used and they would never use anything else again.
According to the manufacturer and many customers, these sheets are very breathable. There's something special about the way they are made which facilitates the airflow through the sheets. Naturally, this leads to a more comfortable sleep.
The fact that these sheets are extremely durable is indicated by the fact that the manufacturer is offering a 10-year warranty. They fully expect the sheets to still be in good condition in 10 years.
There are 13 color options available for these sheets, including light blue, dark gray, white, light gray, ivory, sage, dusty rose, lake blue, taupe, flannel lake blue, flannel green, flannel burgundy, and flannel light gray.
There are customers who claim that these sheets come out of the dryer unwrinkled, and are ready to be placed on the bed. Once on the bed, they look perfect, almost like they've been ironed.
At the moment the manufacturer is offering a special whereby if you purchase one set of sheets, you get a second set for free. This deal applies to every size of sheets. Your second set has to be of equal or lesser value to the first set.
There are many different color options, but with 13 different hues available you'd think they could have made them a little more exciting. The colors offered in the sheets are uninspired, boring, and dull. They need a lot more variety including some brighter colors. The addition of a few patterns would also be nice.
We're told that these are the softest, most comfortable sheets in the world, but where's the thread count listed? This information isn't provided anywhere. For many people, this is very important, and they won't purchase sheets without knowing it. When things like this are missing from a product description it can sometimes mean there's something to hide, although it's not necessarily the case.
Admittedly the 2 for the price of one deal makes it much more affordable, but the base price for these sheets is very high. You can get nice sheets for cheaper than what the company is offering, that will suit your needs perfectly.
What is Giza Cotton? True, Egypt cotton is known as the highest quality cotton. However, what makes Giza cotton more special than another cotton, or from the cotton grown in the rest of the Mediterranean region or Egypt, for that matter? This reviewer has never heard of a special region for cotton growth in Egypt between the Sahara Desert, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Nile River that's better than any other area for cotton in Egypt.
It's true that we purchase pretty much everything online these days - even sheets. However, with such an item you do want to be able to actually touch the sheets yourself, if you can, and feel their softness. You can't always take somebody else's word. So sheets that are sold online do pose the disadvantage of not really being able to engage very much with the product.
Most of the cotton sheets available online are cheaper than the base price for Giza Dream Bed Sheets. Mostly, companies do state the thread count, and they list it somewhere where it's very clear to the consumer. For almost all of the other brands, there's a much wider selection of colors and patterns which are more appealing.
Other companies do not provide as much or any information about where the cotton was grown. They also don't go into the depth of the quality of the cotton, except for providing the thread count.
Finally, Giza Dream provides a much wider selection of sizes compared to most of the other brands.
When buying bed sheets, it's very important that you get the right size. Be aware before you go shopping what size you need, or you could end up with sheets that simply don't fit.
Some people think one of these is better than the other, but it's really just a matter of preference. There are those who like satin and others who prefer the matte weave of percale.
When you're choosing the color or pattern for your sheets, take into account the colors and decor that make up your bedroom. You want the sheets to fit the overall design of the room, suit the ambiance, and look good.
Take good care of your sheets so they'll last a long time. Wash them in cold water, and don't use fabric softeners which could wear them down.

We have purchased 6 sets of sheets, 4 pillows 2 kings,s and 2 regular sizes one of the kings are extra hard, and 8 towel sets. I like the towels very absorbent, the sheets are soft and comfortable and the pillow holds my head off the mattress.

I love our new sheet set! They were very reasonable with the coupon code offer. There was no chemical smell as another reviewer complained about. They are very well made and generously sized (definitely larger than our other sheet sets). The fitted sheet is much better made. Then others and even stay on the bed perfectly- no more pulling off. The fabric quality is high. They are super soft and crisp all at once. I love them & plan to buy another set. Don't let reviewers who have political agendas dissuade you. They really are wonderful sheets for a great price.

I purchased a set of queen Giza sheets and upon opening the sheets we noticed they had a very strong chemical odor. We washed the sheets and the odor did not go away, so we thought we would try using them in hopes that they just needed to "air out". Unfortunately, that was not the case and my wife woke up in the middle of the night feeling sick, which we feel was the result of the smell from the sheets. We say this because we took the Giza sheets off the bed and put one of our other sets on and her sick feeling went away.
Needless to say, I would not recommend them. In addition, the customer service is really tough. I've been on hold twice now for over 10 minutes each and never spoke to someone and my email will supposedly take 48 hours to get answered.
Overall, not a great experience.

I bought two queen sets a couple of years ago. Big mistake. I struggle to get the fitted sheet on my bed each week. They also come out of the dryer so wrinkled. I have had 100 percent cotton sheets in the past and after several washings they no longer wrinkled like these sheets. Also, the sheets are impossible to fold. I think it has something to do with how the material was cut. One of the sets now has a fraying hole in the side of the fitted sheet. I am getting new sheets elsewhere and will donate the My Pillow sheets. I am tired of having to struggle with them.

I'm sorry, but I do not like My Pillows' Giza sheets. I was sweating the first night I used them-thick and heavy, they are not appropriate for summer for sure. And as for softness, I don't feel anything special about that quality. They are well made, to last, definitely but as for comfort I"d prefer less expensive Egyptian cotton from a retail store probably. I know not everyone will agree with me, that's O.K.

These are the best sheets I've ever had, and I've searched far and wide. Soft, not wrinkled, beautiful colors, ample fit, and great price.

Big thumbs up to MyPillow for your wonderful Giza Sheets!
My wife and I have been sleeping on Giza Dream sheets for about two years. They are durable and appear to get softer over time after many washes.
Like many couples, we have different body thermostats. I sleep in the nude because I naturally sweat profusely; however, my wife tends to be cold all year round and bundles up. The Giza Dream sheets are cool to the touch even on the hottest summers nights, offering a comfortable compromise for me and my wife.
The Flannel Giza sheets for autumn and winter months we're surprisingly soft, unlike most flannel sheets that tend to feel scratchy. Also, the Giza flannel sheets absorbed my sweat.
Both, the Giza Dream sheets & the Giza Flannel sheets are amazing for hot & cold body temperatures.
Thank you for the great products!

I recently purchased 2 sets of Queen size Gaza Dreams sheets. Instructions recommended toss in the dryer at low heat after opening, but I like to wash before using. They came out of the dryer very finely wrinkled, so I did iron the pillowcases. When I put the fitted sheet on my Queen sz pillow top mattress w/additional topper (18" Total thick), it was still too large requiring a lot of tucking in excess! The top (cover) sheet was gigantic, leaving a lot of drape on both sides of the bed. I thought there must be a mistake, was this a King sz? No, it was Marked Queen as ordered. Other than the large Queen size, I do enjoy the smooth softness of these sheets.

I just received my Giza sheets and they are the most comfortable sheets I've ever had! They are extremely soft. Being someone with eczema everything bothers my skin, these are the only sheets I have ever owned where I'm not awake all night scratching from the itchy fiber of the sheets. People at My Pillow were so friendly and delivery was super quick. I plan on ordering a mattress topper next. I have the pillows also the best ones I've ever owned! Very pleased with My Pillow.

Are the fitted sheets banded so they do not pop off an adjustable base?

Giza cotton (long staple) is not really soft or smooth and consequently neither are the sheets. The fiber is raised a tiny bit -- enough to make the sheet feel rough and drags on the skin. I really, really wanted to love these sheets, and unfortunately, I don't. I've already washed both sets. Live and learn.

I bought white Giza dream sheets and they are without a doubt the worst I have ever had. After washing they came out wrinkled to the extreme and difficult to iron plus much too big. I have had bamboo sheets before and they we're soft and did not even need ironing. Very disappointed and will give the second set (it was necessary to buy) away.

I bought Split California King sheets from My Pillow. They we're 3" too wide. Split Ca King is supposed to be 36". These we're 39". They gave me my money back, but I had to pay shipping both ways. I am out $19.90. BUYER BEWARE!

I have an allergic reaction to these sheets. I wrote to MY Pillow for what is found in the cloth, ie what is it made of. No one wrote me back. The MD would like it in order to treat me. I have 27 welts on my body and nothing is working. If you or your customers know, please let me know in order to relieve my pain. J.V. Fritz.
