How It Works
On the outside, this bra looks similar to many other comfort bras, with fairly thin straps, a moderately low neckline, and a comfort band and back panel that are meant to smooth out back fat. However, the highly innovative part of this bra that allows it to do its job so effectively is the inner lifting layer, which is concealed underneath the outer layer. The inner layer contains soft, molded cups that will shape and support your bust so it looks attractive and doesn't weigh you down. It also includes adjustable straps that will allow you to customize how much you lift your bust on any given day. These straps will be hidden inside the outer straps, but they'll move and work independently.
How to Use (Step by Step)
- Pull the Bra On
The first thing you'll need to do is pull this bra on over your head, just as you would any other comfort bra. You'll notice that the bra's flexibility will allow it to stretch comfortably around your body and that there are no buttons, buckles, clips or hooks to deal with.
- Adjust Inner Straps
Once you're wearing your bra, and you've determined that the inner cups are resting comfortably over each side of your bust, it'll be time to adjust the inner straps. For a tighter fit and more lift, you should make the straps shorter, while you'll want to make them longer for a looser fit with less lift. Of course, this can be changed day-by-day to suit your current activities.
- Add Clothing
Finally, after you've adjusted your straps, you'll be able to add clothing overtop of your bra. The bra has a fairly low neckline and its shoulder straps are quite thin, so it should remain discreet under most tops and dresses. Unless you're sporting a plunging neckline, spaghetti straps, or a completely strapless top or dress, it shouldn't be highly visible.

- Comfort Band and Back Panel
The band of each of these bras is double-lined in order to enhance comfort and support, and each one also has a back panel that will help smooth out any back fat you might have. If you do have back fat, it'll be far less visible through your chosen top or dress than it otherwise would be.

- Accommodates Uneven Bust
Some women have an uneven bust, which means that one side is larger or smaller than the other. Not all bras will accommodate this issue, but the Genie True Lift Comfort Bra will. In order to make this bra fit both sides of your bust properly and comfortably, simply shorten or lengthen one of the straps so it's different from the other. Normally, the smaller side of the bust should have the shorter strap while the larger side should have the lengthier strap.
- Washing Machine Safe
If you've got a washing machine, you'll be able to use it to clean this type of bra, so you'll never have to take one to the dry cleaner's. However, you must wash these bras in cold water, using the delicate cycle, and you must not add bleach to the load. The bras also must be air-dried instead of being put through an electric dryer. If you don't have a washing machine or would prefer not to use it for some reason, it's perfectly fine to hand-wash and air-dry each of your bras.
Negative Points
- Invisible Straps Unavailable
Women who don't wear many tops or dresses that are strapless, or those that include spaghetti straps, may be perfectly satisfied with this type of bra. Unfortunately, though, the bra's straps will be visible if you decide to wear tops or dresses with spaghetti straps or no straps. If you were to try to pull the straps down, you'd lose some of your bra's support, so your situation would be negative either way. In order to help remedy this problem, it would be helpful if a version of this bra with invisible (transparent) straps could be created.
Save Money
You can wear the Genie True Lift Comfort Bra for virtually any activity, such as working at a desk, working out at the gym or running around after the kids. Without a bra like this one, you might decide to obtain a variety of different bras for different activities, but having even one set of three Genie TLC bras may relieve you of that responsibility. Since each of these bras is fairly stretchy and adjustable, you also won't need to replace them if you gain or lose a bit of weight, or if your bust changes shape due to age. You may be able to go on for years without getting any more new bras!

SCAM!
The genie website and customer service are scams, and they are horrible to deal with. I ordered my bra on July 15th, and it was shipped, but it never went any further than shipping from china. It stayed on the same tracking as being weighted in China, but never went any further. I contacted them, and I quickly got a bra from Fullerton, CA. It was an XL, super small, and had seams in it, which is why I ordered it, because it claims to be seamless, and I suffer from chronic pain around the rib area due to a car accident. It didn't have the Genie logo in it either. I sent pictures of the bra I received.
I contacted them again, and they stated they could send me a size larger, even though I explained how disappointed I was that I got a knock-off genie bra. I asked if it would be the authentic genie bra, or the same bra, just a larger size, and they said it would be the same bra. I've been going around with them, and they said they could give me a 35% refund, because it would take too long to send the bra back, and then too long for the refund. Seriously? This place is a horrible scam. If you need a comfortable, bra that does not have seams, try the Sloggi bra. Every bra hurts me, and I go braless a lot, but the Sloggi bra is the best so for my pain.

It's the NO GenieTLC bra for Me!
Saw the advertisement on HSN and decided to go to the GenieTLC website directly. Was hesitant to order since it's too good to be true on TV esp with all shaped females. I purchased the 40DDD since I'm a 40DD and was NOT happy with the end result. Made my breasts flat and so sweaty with pads. I've paid both a lot and lil for wired bras at VS, Macy's, and Walmart. Acent found that perfect bra. So tired of the wire.
Lesson learned and returned for a full refund.

Disappointed
I have been wearing Calvin Klein seamless bras and love them but I wanted a little more lift so I ordered these bras. I was excited to try it on and my excitement evaporated as soon as I put one on. I still gave it a chance and did a bit more adjusting of straps. Needless to say, I was hot, for the first time in a long time I had straps digging in on my shoulders. The cups became all wrinkled as if I had this bra for months. I will be returning them and will keep track of when they are received. I had high hopes and one more thing the back is not smooth as presented on TV.

Bra Size
Does anybody have it in size 48? I've been measured as a 48 double j and might be getting up to a 48k. Would a size 50 be right for my breast size?

Bras and Breast Sizes
I offered the genie bra to my former mother in law and she wouldn't accept it. I told her I thought she could benefit from it because she wasn't as busty as I am. She always made comments about how glad she was that she wasn't as large breasted as I am.

The whole reason for me buying these (3) we're so that I wouldn’t have to keep adjusting ( pulling it down ) my bra. These did not solve that problem. Also advertised no side boob and smooth back fat. Well, I end up with that too. So much material I’m wondering if they will be hot come summertime. I’m busty A little less padding would be nice the padding is a bit much. I also bought 3 of a knock off brand for almost half the price of one. The nice thing about those besides the price, less padding and a lighter feel.

Love It
So I was skeptical as I do own other Genie bras and they are just okay. I am very top heavy [40 G/H/I] so I tend to fall out from underneath. I got a 40DDD. It is very comfortable and almost holds me, but a ton site better than the older ones. I just wish they would make them with a larger cup size.

Ciamia bra DO NOT BUY
SCAM. I did fix mine so I would not be out of this money. LADIES carefully CUT (REMOVE) the band at the fold, front and back, then CUT out (REMOVE) the whole inside of back. I left the bra section as is. It now feels more comfortable. Takes time but what choice do we have.

Genie Bra TLC
Just got my Genie Bra(s) TLC. Was skeptical because I'm an in-between size (36D on one side and 36DD on the other). Ordered the 36C-D.I'm 60 years old and was mainly looking for a COMFORTABLE bra that I could wear that still would offer support. I've tried lots of comfort bras for yoga and whatnot, and the Genie Bra TLC does what I want it to do: 1. COMFORT and 2. Support. The band rolls up a little in the front but I attribute that to my short waisted body type. The straps are SUPER comfortable and don't fall off my shoulders or dig in. I wish it came in a 36D-DD, but other than that, Genie Bra TLC is the best comfort bra I've bought and I'm very happy with my purchase. I will buy more!: ).

Dissatisfied Cause Didn't get What was Promised
Placed order for a wife and was told 6 bras for 74.95 plus shipping and when got shipment only received 3. Called customer care was told no there's an additional charge for other 3 and that's not what I was told when ordered. So very disappointed with this company. What a scam business.

Where did you find the single bra price? The website you show to go to only let's you buy three at a time which is what the TV offer is. I don't like having to buy three when I don't know if it will fit or not. Also, the Genie TLC is not available on Amazon or anywhere else but the Genie
site.

Just Disgusting!
These bras are a joke! Not only don’t fit but living in Canada you really get hosed. I paid over one hundred & twenty dollars for the three that were advertised at 59. It took forever to come, then when I send them back because they definitely didn’t fit, I paid another 31.00! What crap! They roll up and a clasp was missing! Never again. Think twice before you get sucked in like me. Read the reviews first. I’m not the only one dissatisfied!

Thank you for posting. Was thinking of buying since I have regular genie bras love them was looking for a little bit more lift after reading your review I'm not purchasing. I think the adjuster would drive me crazy and having to go through the hassle of trying to return.

The adjuster is just for the shoulder straps. And I'm glad it's there! I just got my Genie Bra(s) TLC and I really love them. Best comfort bras I've ever purchased. That's what I'm all about: Comfort. But these also lift and support so you're not flopping around. I'm glad I got over my nervousness and ordered them!

Thank you for your post. Living in Canada has a disadvantage because of the high cost and high shipping. This the second I read a review about bras advertised on TV. I always ask myself: How come the bras companies don't go on TV to promote their bras? I guess it's self explanatory!
