Gadget Grab is a green and black stand that will hold any tablet or e-reader in either a horizontal or vertical manner. It'll enable you to have a hands-free experience without searching for a random object to prop your digital device against. The stand will sit securely on virtually any surface, and when you're done with it, it'll fold up so that it's small enough to fit in a large pants pocket. Folding it shut will keep the grip pad cleaner for longer, too. With each Gadget Grab, you'll also get a mini version of the device, which you can use to hold a smartphone or a mini tablet.
When you use Gadget Grab, you won't need to balance your tablet in your lap or lean in an awkward position to get a clear view of your screen. Regardless of whether you're using the tablet to watch a movie, look up recipes or directions, complete work, or do something else entirely, this stand will hold it at a convenient level for viewing. While Gadget Grab will grip your tablet to keep it from falling down, you'll be able to take the tablet off the stand quickly when you choose to. Once you've done so, you'll notice that the stand's grip pad leaves no sticky residue behind on a digital device.
The cost of Gadget Grab is $10.00 plus $4.95 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Gadget Grab by paying the extra shipping fee of $4.95 for a total price of $19.9. This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page found at getgadgetgrab.com; however, the company has since ceased selling Gadget Grab and has taken down the website. Gadget Grab may still be found for sale on Amazon or Ebay.
The grip pad of each Gadget Grab has a polymer surface that will use the force of suction to quickly grab the back of each digital device it comes in contact with. However, once you pull at your device in order to remove it from the stand, the pad's material will allow for its quick release. Aside from the grip pad's ability to cling to digital devices, the base of each stand will cling to a wide variety of surfaces, such as wood, bamboo, metal, tile, and linoleum. It'll even hold a stand and device up securely on a surface that's a bit jiggly, so you'll be able to operate small tools or appliances nearby without concern.
Every Gadget Grab stand comes in bright green and black, a bold combination of colours that many individuals tend to like. Since the outside edges and lid of each stand are black, any dirt that a stand accumulates is unlikely to be strikingly visible.
When you're done using your Gadget Grab for the time being, you can simply snap its lid closed. Besides reducing the size of the stand so it can be carried in a pocket or small bag, if needed, closing the lid will also help protect the grip pad from dirt or damage.
If your stand's grip pad does happen to get dirty at some point, you'll be able to clean it by rinsing it off under your tap. Note: You should dry it off gently before allowing it to grip a digital device again.
You'll be able to pull your Gadget Grab out of its package and use it immediately, without having to put together any pieces with your hands or tools.
Since this stand's base will securely grip virtually any surface, you can use the stand in any room of your house, or even outdoors. If you won't be travelling on an excessively bumpy road, you'll likely be able to use it in a vehicle without difficulty, too.
Some tablet stands will leave sticky residue behind on your tablet after use, but this one will grip your tablet or e-reader without causing the back of it to become sticky.
Each standard-sized Gadget Grab device is accompanied by a mini version of the stand that will effectively hold up smartphones and mini tablets in the same way that the larger stand holds larger devices.
If you want to use a digital device and keep your hands free, balancing it in your lap is an option. However, it likely won't be sitting completely flat, and you won't be able to stand up and move around while using it.
You can use household objects such as books or a pillow to hold up a digital device, but these won't hold one as securely as Gadget Grab. They're quite likely to slip on a surface, consequently causing your device to fall over.
Stands with adhesive on their grip pads may effectively grip a device, but they may make the back of your device sticky in the process. Plus, the pads may lose their stickiness ( and therefore, their effectiveness ) over time.
