Fresh View Shield is a transparent face shield that's meant to protect your mouth, nose, and eyes from airborne hazards, such as the potentially infectious droplets produced by the coughs and sneezes of other people. It's stated that this shield might be a better choice than a face mask since it'll enable you to breathe in more air and enable others to see your smile. Plus, it's specified that this shield is a bit longer than other face shields, which may decrease the likelihood of you touching your nose or mouth.
The cost of Fresh View Shield is $9.99 plus $6.99 shipping for a total price of $16.98.

To start wearing your Fresh View Shield, place the transparent plastic part over your eyes, mouth, and nose and the soft foam band across your forehead. The edge of the shield that doesn't contain the foam band should be hanging slightly below your chin, although exactly how much it hangs down will depend on your face's length.
Next, use the flexible headband that's connected to the shield's foam band to secure the shield, by wrapping the headband around the back of your head. For maximum staying power, the headband should be resting about a half-inch to an inch above your ears.
Once your shield's headband is wrapped securely around your head, you can continue with your daily activities, such as shopping, riding the bus, or even exercising. You should take off the shield if you enter water, though.
At the end of the day, or when you're done wearing your shield for a while, you'll need to remove it by gently pulling the attached headband off your head. It's best to wash it in your sink with soap and water after each use, in order to remove any viral matter or bacteria that it may have picked up throughout the day. Following that, you should store it in a safe, clean place until you need it again.
The Fresh View Shield is lightweight, along with being transparent, so it won't feel as if you're carrying a bulky weight around your face as you wear it. Similarly, if you need to take it off and carry it around while you go free-faced for any reason, you can expect to be able to comfortably hang onto it in one hand.
Some shorter face shields stop right at the chin, which means that someone who's wearing one may be tempted to reach up and scratch their chin, lips, or nose. However, you probably won't be as tempted to reach up and touch your face when you wear the Fresh View Shield, since each one is extra-long and will hang down below the chin. The shield's extra length will help protect some of your neck area from airborne droplets, too.
Some face masks and shields can fog up a person's eyeglasses or sunglasses, rendering them unable to see clearly, but this shield has an anti-fog design. This design, along with the way it's angled slightly forward away from the face, will enable you to slide it right over virtually any piece of eyewear without worrying about fogging.
If you obtain sets of disposable masks to wear while you're out and about, you'll have to throw each one out after one day of wear for safety's sake. On the other hand, you may be able to use this shield every day, for years, before it becomes too scratched up or otherwise too old to use. If you wash the shield at home with soap and water prior to each time you wear it, it'll be like you're wearing a new piece of protective equipment every single time.
You may want to obtain just one of these face shields at once, but you'll also have the option of getting a set of six or a dozen. If you want to order a shield for everyone in your household, or all the employees that you manage, getting a set may be beneficial.
The ear straps on a fabric face mask can irritate a person's ears over time, especially if the mask is worn for hours each day. Fortunately, you won't have that problem if you wear a Fresh View Shield instead, because the headband that's used to hold the shield on doesn't have to touch your ears. Furthermore, the foam band that will extend across your forehead is soft, so it's unlikely that it'll irritate your skin.
If you're proud of your appearance, or you want to show off a certain type of makeup that you wear, a mask can get in the way of your ability to show your face. With a fabric face mask, you'll only be able to show your eyes, while leaving your mouth and nose covered up. Alternatively, when you wear a Fresh View Shield, your entire face will be on view for all to see, including any customers or clients you may interact with at work.
Asthmatics and people with other breathing issues, such as COPD, often struggle with the tightness of a fabric face mask against their faces. Wearing a face shield like this one will give these individuals a bit more room between the face and the protective equipment to suck in oxygen, and it's still a safer option than going free-faced.
The pieces of each Fresh View Shield that'll have contact with your body (the foam headpiece and the stretchy headband) contain polyurethane, polyester, and latex. More specifically, the foam headpiece is the part that contains polyurethane, while the headband is made from polyester and latex. As a result, if you're allergic to any of these materials, you should avoid wearing this shield.
It's safe to wear the Fresh View Shield in most environments, but if you're going to be exposed to high-intensity heat or flammable gas, you must not wear this shield. When exposed to these elements, the shield could quickly melt or undergo even worse damage than that.
If you're concerned that you won't get enough protection from this shield alone, or your region mandates that you wear a face mask in certain spaces, you can wear a mask underneath this shield. Simply put the mask on as you normally would, and then add the shield overtop.
This face shield has been designed to fit all adults, but due to its extra-long plastic partition, it may be too long for children to comfortably wear. The plastic partition might extend down so far that it bumps into a child's chest, which probably wouldn't be comfortable for that child. It would be helpful if an equivalent face shield with a flexible headband could be made for children—just in a slightly smaller size.
