• Uv Resistant

  This hose is resistant to UV rays which means it will not become heated when exposed to the sun, so it is safe to touch at all times. Moreover, that also means the material from which it is made will not contract or expand when exposed to sun, something that is often the root cause of most hose wear and tear.

• Lightweight

  All four of the different lengths are lightweight and flexible. This means you can twist them, turn them, crimp them, and they still will not get damaged. They will continue to work just fine. Additionally, the lightweight design means that even children, the elderly, or anything with wrist problems can lift and carry the hose around a yard or garden without issue.

• Kink Free

  This hose design is allegedly kink-free. That means no matter how it is dragged, turned, or twisted when you use it, it will not kink. No longer do you have to struggle holding onto a hose that constantly stops spraying, then sprays everywhere once you free the kinks. • Four Lengths

  There are many flexible metal hoses on the market, but one of the biggest issues they have is not being available in adequate sizes. This brand, however, offers four different lengths for different needs. Users can purchase the regular twenty five foot length hose, a fifty foot length hose, a seventy five foot length hose, or a one hundred foot length hose.

• Strong

  Allegedly this forever steel hose is as strong as armor.

• Easy to Carry

  The fifty foot length, for example, weighs only five pounds.

• Highly Durable

  This hose is in fact so durable that users have run over them with their cars, pulled them across sharp edges in the yard on purpose, and some have wrapped their hose around a cactus. All this was done to test the claims of the company, and apparently the performance is not impacted at all.

• Similar to Others

  Forever Steel is one of five metal hoses that appeared on the market around 2017, all of which seem to be the same metal hose design. Now it is commonplace to see many "as seen on TV" hoses as exact or nearly exact copies of other versions.

• Is Not Entirely Tangle Free

  Even though there are claims that this hose is tangle free and won't get in knots, understand that a metal hose, because of its material, will never tie in a knot or kink. However, it does get knotted about as easily as a regular hose--which does not get knotted that easily. The real distinction is that when the Forever Steel hose gets tangled or knotted, it does not impact water pressure.

• Spray Distance

  The distance the water can reach is not much different than normal hoses. So, while there are different hose lengths available, the actual spray length the water can travel from the hose is not comparatively different.

• One Color

  Given that it is made with stainless steel, it has only the stainless steel color available. There are currently no options on the market for any designs with a coating or alternative color. This does not impact how well it works, but it something that certain individuals have taken issue with when purchasing this hose.

Does It Really Work?

Yes, this hose really works. That said, while it is one of a literal handful of metal flexible hoses to hit the market this year, that does not mean the metal hoses are bad. In fact, they are an excellent alternative to regular hoses. While there does not really seem to be any functionality distinction between this metal hose and other metal hoses, it is nonetheless superior to traditional hoses.

Alternatives

• Hercules Hose

  The Hercules hose is a metal garden hose which is allegedly kink-free. It is lightweight, can withstand the elements, is highly durable, and tangle-free.

• Pocket Hose Top Brass Bullet

  The Pocket Hose has many names, eight in fact, all of which are the same type of outdoor hose. They were marketed as lightweight hoses which would automatically retract. Of course, these do not work well, which is why the company has scrambled to make "improved" versions and why there are so many types of Pocket Hose options.

• Flex Steel Hose

  Flex Steel Hose is allegedly the most durable hose in the world, but not really when compared to things like Metal Garden Hose. Nonetheless this design has the same claims of being kink-free, durable, and lightweight.

• Metal Garden Hose

  This hose can be left outside and it will not change its functionality. Lightweight, durable, and kink-free, this garden hose can be easily used by children, the elderly, or commercial entities. Running it over with a car, hitting it against machinery, or dragging it across sharp rocks will do nothing to stop how well it performs. It can also withstand high levels of water pressure, so those who have high water pressure in their home do not have to worry about this option bursting at the seams like other hoses might.
