Before you start using this foot-washing device, you'll need to use the suction cups on the bottom to attach it to your shower or bathtub. In the shower, it's best to attach it to a convenient place on the shower floor, while attaching it to the wall of a bathtub is ideal. To use soap, just add a drop to the area of the device that's covered in bristles.
You'll notice that there's a big blue button on one side of your Foot Wash Express. Prior to cleaning either of your feet, you must press this to turn the device on.
Next, you'll need to slide either your left or right foot onto the bristles of the device by sliding it under the big blue handle. Once it's there, simply move your foot back and forth for a few minutes as the device cleans and massages every square inch of it.
After you're done cleaning your first foot, simply repeat the entire second step on the other foot.
Once both of your feet are clean, turn off your device by using the big blue button again, and remove it from your shower or bathtub. You could leave it in the shower or bath if you'd like, but it's best to store it somewhere else until you use it next.
Each Foot Wash Express contains hundreds of bristles. These bristles are similar to those found on a scrubbing brush, except there's many more of them and they also vibrate in order to massage the feet. Therefore, not only will they make your feet much cleaner, they'll make them feel good, too.
This foot-washing apparatus also comes with a callus pad that can be inserted where the pad of bristles normally rests. All you'll need to do is take out the pad of bristles and insert the callus pad, then gently move each callused foot back and forth in the shower or bath as usual. In a few minutes' time, the callus pad will remove both calluses and dry skin. Keep in mind that the callus pad will work more effectively when your device is powered up.
After you do physical work, whether it's yard work, exercise or some other activity, you probably find that your feet are much dirtier than normal. However, once you run each one through your Foot Wash Express for a few minutes, they'll be squeaky clean again, and the massaging bristles will give tired feet some relief, too.
One reason why this device can be safely used in the bathtub or shower is that it doesn't need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. That also makes it a good tool to bring along when camping without electricity, especially since it's only about the size of a standard shoebox.
To wash your feet in the shower while standing, you'd normally have to balance and bend in order to reach them. In the bathtub, you'd have to bend and shift your position, too. Fortunately, with the Foot Wash Express, you'll be able to wash each entire foot without moving much, which makes it a great tool for anyone who has mobility issues or is just plain exhausted. Similarly, removing calluses with the callus pad requires only minimal movement of the feet and legs.
It would be nice if one could clean both feet at once in the Foot Wash Express if one was pressed for time. However, that's not an option, as the device will only accommodate one foot at a time. You could attempt to squeeze a second one in beside the first, but unless you have incredibly tiny feet, they probably wouldn't fit.
This device has been designed only for the feet, not the hands or any other body parts. If you were to use it on your hands, you might find the massage too rough instead of pleasurable, as the hands tend to be smaller and more delicate than the feet.
It's best not to use this device without water from the shower or bathtub coating its bristles as you do so, especially if you're using the callus pad. Water acts as a lubricant, so without it, the device won't be as gentle on your feet, and could actually irritate your skin.
