You do not just have to use it to inject juices into your meats. Rather, you can use it to inject anything into almost any food. Use it to inject filling into cakes, cupcakes, or donut holes. Fill strawberries or other fruit. Insert filling into a jello drink. Alternatively, use it to decorate cakes with the needle feature, applying decorative frosting ot the outside. Fill pastries, stuffed breads, tamales, or potatoes.

It absolutely works. There is also a distinct taste, one full of juice, when you use any kind of injection device. You will notice time saved, juicier foods, and an easier food preparation process. Needle injectors are a sound alternative to this. They are rather inexpensive, especially when you purchase them online. Principally they work in much the same way. You just use the giant needle to suck up the juices from the bottom of the roasting tray, then inject them back into the meat.
One of the most time consuming aspects of preparing any meat dish, especially whiter meats that are prone to drying out, is basting. Basting your meats is an important part of the cooking process, one which requires you to regularly, and at numerous intervals, baste your meat. Doing so can be a challenge. You have to take the entire bird out of the oven, or mostly out, then suck up the juices from the bottom of the pan, spraying them on top. As with any injection device, be careful not to fill the meat too much. If you are cooking a bird and you inject near the skin, too much juice can literally cause the meat to explode. This is true of almost any food. Cupcakes or cakes which are overloaded with too much filling are also prone to explosions. While entertaining, this makes quite a mess, taking away from the effectiveness of this injection unit.
