Flavor Pro is a handheld injection unit which has a small plastic container inside of which you place your fillings. This container is designed like an accordion so that you can push it together and squeeze out all that is inside. Using the handheld unit, you can easily attach and detach the container / needle. Cleaning these pieces is made much easier. What’s more, the firm applicator uses your natural arm strength to move the needle inside the food and squeeze out the filling.
The cost of Flavor Pro is $19.99 plus $7.99 shipping, for a total price of $27.98. This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page found at buyflavorpro.com; however, the company has since ceased selling Flavor Pro and has taken down the website. Flavor Pro may still be found for sale on Amazon or Ebay.
You get the flexible flavorizer, the needle, the flavor pro, the recipe guide, in addition to a decorating kit and guidebook.
The length of the needle means you can reach deep inside things like potatoes, for loaded potatoes, poultry, and more.
You do not just have to use it to inject juices into your meats. Rather, you can use it to inject anything into almost any food. Use it to inject filling into cakes, cupcakes, or donut holes. Fill strawberries or other fruit. Insert filling into a jello drink. Alternatively, use it to decorate cakes with the needle feature, applying decorative frosting ot the outside. Fill pastries, stuffed breads, tamales, or potatoes.
Marinating takes hours, but with this it only takes minutes. Pour your favorite marinade or juice into the falvorizer.
Attach the needle to the product and place it inside of the flavor pro.
Inject the sauces, butter, herbs, broth, seasonings, spices, or fillings deeply into the foods.
It absolutely works. There is also a distinct taste, one full of juice, when you use any kind of injection device. You will notice time saved, juicier foods, and an easier food preparation process. The different pieces come together perfectly to allow you easy cleaning or filling. Using your natural body strength, you can gently push the needle and container until your foods are filled.
Needle injectors are a sound alternative to this. They are rather inexpensive, especially when you purchase them online. Principally they work in much the same way. You just use the giant needle to suck up the juices from the bottom of the roasting tray, then inject them back into the meat.
One of the most time consuming aspects of preparing any meat dish, especially whiter meats that are prone to drying out, is basting. Basting your meats is an important part of the cooking process, one which requires you to regularly, and at numerous intervals, baste your meat. Doing so can be a challenge. You have to take the entire bird out of the oven, or mostly out, then suck up the juices from the bottom of the pan, spraying them on top. However, you are limited in how much is absorbed, since you are spraying on top, not putting it back into the meat. This is an exhausting part of any meal preparation. With this unit though, you can skip the regularity with which you baste, instead injecting the juices right inside, in a faster fashion. Alleviate the time consuming effort of basting by injecting.
As with any injection device, be careful not to fill the meat too much. If you are cooking a bird and you inject near the skin, too much juice can literally cause the meat to explode. This is true of almost any food. Cupcakes or cakes which are overloaded with too much filling are also prone to explosions. While entertaining, this makes quite a mess, taking away from the effectiveness of this injection unit.
