Inspired by a video showcasing baby pygmy monkeys, the company behind Fingerlings sought to bring to life such adorable pets. Literally holding onto your fingertip, these toys have WowWee Smart Tech which means they have a real life personality with traits to boot. Kids will love playing with them and learning new things. True companions, there is no animal toy out there that provides a real-life friendship like this one between child and pet.
Zoe is a turquoise monkey boasting soft, purple hair whose hobby is grabbing your finger. She actively knows when you are talking to her, hanging her upside down or petting her. Fingerlings are not only adorable baby monkeys but they are curious about the world, and their owners. Interactive pets hang on your finger, blink their eyes, even turn their heads. Hear them talk in monkey babble, see them blow kisses, even swing by their tales.
You can choose from a variety of colors including white, purple, blue, black, pink, and turquoise. Adopt all of them and start monkeying around with an entire family. Clap your hands twice with more than one of them and they will start singing together.
Hang them upside down and see them monkey around. Blow them a kiss and they will return the favor. Pet them and they will start to go to sleep or maybe get excited. Responding to sound, motion, and touch, watch them turn their heads or blink at you.
Never mind buying a real pet. Buy one of these. There are over forty animations and they are truly a lively bunch as a result. Clinging to your hand is just the start. Chattering away, opening or closing eyes, even making kissing sounds, there is no end to what fun ways they will respond live to your touch or your voice.
These little monkeys give you friendship, literally, at your fingertips. All they need is care and attention to start giving you some hugs, love, or mischief in response. Squeal with delight next to them as they start bestowing their friendship upon you with their little monkey noises.
Fingerlings are only as remarkable as they are because of research and development. Part of an award-winning line of interactive toys, Fingerlings are made by WowWee. Said company also makes Robosapien, CHiP, and MiP. However, these are unique among their award-winning technological advancements because of their big personalities, especially for being pint-sized.
The small babies are monkeys and monkeys love to swing. They also love hanging by their tails. So see what responses you can generate when you turn your monkey upside down and swing it from your fingers.
These little babies need tender love and care. So pet them and watch as they respond to your touch, soaking it up. Give them tender pets and they will give you soft cooing sounds, maybe even happily blink their eyes at you. You will find that a little love can truly go a long way.
With these fun monkeys, you can put them to bed or place them down for a nap, all on your own. Cradle them in your hands, then rock them back and forth to sleep. They will respond by drifting off into a peaceful night of dreams until it is time to wake up again.
This startup has focused on lovable, wearable companions. Using great tech, no other product on the market is like this one.
The first step to getting to use a new Fingerling is removing it from its packaging. Fingerlings are contained either in a plastic or cardboard box. The plastic box can be opened by using scissors to cut open the casing and the cardboard box is easily opened by using one's nails and fingers. Then, the Fingerlings are held together in place by a plastic packaging and tape which is effortlessly removed.
Fingerlings can be purchased with additional playsets which require some assembly. One playset is the monkey-bar swing set which comes in a few disassembled pieces. There are little groves and the plastic pieces easily snap into place.
Once the Fingerling is out of the packaging, the next step is to turn on the 'on/off' switch that is found on the back of the Fingerling's head. Batteries are included and already in place, so the Fingerling should begin working as soon as the switch is turned on.
You can begin to play with the Fingerling by putting it on a finger ( many people use their index) and turning it on. The Fingerling has a sensor where their mouth is and once it is turned on, it will begin to respond to your voice, your movements, and specific instructions. For instance, if you blow kisses into the Fingerlings face, it will respond with blowing kisses in return. Each Fingerling has many different functions. The more that you interact with the Fingerling, the more it begins to vary in its responses and emits different sounds, effects, and phrases.
The Fingerling can be attached to the play structures and are able to sit on or hang off their tails on the playsets. Also, Fingerlings are able to respond to other Fingerlings. If you place two Fingerlings next to one another, they will begin to have a conversation and interact with one another.
Fingerlings are increasingly gaining in popularity and as such, imitations have been flooding the market. In order to ensure that an authentic Fingerling is to verify that the manufacturer is WowWee. WowWee owns the 'Fingerling' trademark. Another way the consumer can protect themselves from fraudulent purchases is buying the Fingerling directly from retailers and their websites, instead of online buy and sell sites.
Some consumers have complained that the Fingerling is slow to learn and children may get bored with the product before they are able to fully unlock all the functions that the toy has to offer.
Fingerlings are designed to somewhat turn off and conserve their energy if they are not being played with, regardless of the user switching off the toy. A sleep mode will initiate after 5 minutes of inactivity. However, if the off switch is rarely or never turned off, eventually the batteries will drain and as a result, the Fingerling will become slow to respond or completely unresponsive. In this case, a screwdriver is required to change the 4 x LR44 / AG13 button cell batteries.

Don't buy on Amazon. Product is counterfeit. Monkey only screeches like someone is killing it. Scam.
