Exerswing is an at-home workout machine that resembles a swing you'd use outdoors but it won't only work your legs. It appears to have been designed with women in mind, but men can use it, too, and regardless of who's using it, it'll work various muscle groups in your body. Before you begin your first workout session with your Exerswing, you'll need to fold out the machine and then adjust the height and tension by consulting your instruction manual. If you're not sure how much tension is ideal for you, use a lower level of tension at first and work your way up to higher ones.
Once your machine is ready, kneel on the padded seat and place your hands on the arm handles. You'll notice that behind these arm handles, there are padded elbow rests that'll increase your comfort level if you choose to use them. When you get more experienced with this machine, you'll be able to sit in different positions, but kneeling on the seat is the standard way to use it.
When you're in position, start swinging your legs back and forth as if you're pumping in order to try and make a swing fly high. This motion may seem simple, but it'll work your core, glutes, and thighs at the same time, which will enable you to lose inches from all these areas.
Both the elbow rests and the swing (which can be referred to as the kneeling pad) of this machine have plush padding. That means your knees and elbows won't constantly be jamming themselves into something rock-hard as you work out, which could potentially cause you pain. You'll also be able to use the elbow pads to protect your wrists if you rest your arms at a certain angle.
This exercise machine is a low-impact one since it'll allow you to make smooth motions with your body instead of jumping, running or banging any body part against the floor. Plus, the standard swinging motion that many people will choose to use after mounting the machine has been designed to avoid putting pressure on the back. Therefore, this is a good machine for anyone who's avoiding high-impact exercise due to weight, injuries or other medical afflictions.
When you're done using your Exerswing, you'll be able to fold it up, which will make it compact enough to be stored almost anywhere. If you use it frequently, you might just want to leave it leaning against the wall of the room you most often use it in. Its foldable nature also means that you'll be able to bring it with you in your vehicle if you want to use it while you're spending time away from home.
Due to its low-impact nature and the fact that the level of tension can be changed, people of all fitness levels and virtually all ages can use one of these machines. If you're just starting out, you can make your workout easy for yourself by moving slowly and using a lower level of tension, while someone else might choose to go faster and use more resistance. Children may even have fun using this machine, but they should always be supervised by an adult as they do so.
Unlike some fitness machines, you won't need to go to a gym to use this one. You might choose to hop out of bed, fold it out and get on it early in the morning to get a workout in before breakfast. Alternatively, you could carry it to the living room to get some exercise while watching late-night TV. There's nothing wrong with using it outdoors, either, as long as the ground it's resting on isn't slippery due to water or ice.
As mentioned, there's a traditional swinging position that most beginners will probably choose to use on this swing, but to work different muscles, you can alter your position. To work your arms, you might want to squat on the floor, rest your arms on the swing and swing them back and forth in the same way you'd normally swing your legs. Or, instead, you could go into pushup position with your lower legs resting on the swing and slide them back and forth—this will exercise not just your legs, but almost every part of your body.
Exercising in any way will naturally cause you to burn calories, and if you burn up more calories than you eat, you'll naturally begin to lose weight by using a machine like the Exerswing. Even if you don't lose pounds on the scale, though, you will tone up any flabby areas of your body and cause their measurements in inches to decrease. Consequently, your clothing size may drop.
Unlike many exercises machines these days, the Exerswing has no digital display. As a result, if you want to keep track of your heart rate, the number of calories you've burned during a workout or how long you've been going, you'll need to use a separate device.
Considering all four legs, the base of each Exerswing appears to be wide enough, but each leg doesn't appear incredibly sturdy or supported at its bottom. If you were to get excited and swing a little bit too hard to one side, your machine could potentially tip over. Then you'd have to either react quickly by putting a foot down or run the risk of getting hurt. It would be helpful if each leg of each Exerswing could rest on a flatter, wider, solid pad of sorts, as this would add to the machine's stability.
If you obtain an Exerswing and you enjoy using it, you won't have to spend time driving, walking, biking or otherwise transporting yourself to the gym anymore. If you've got limited storage space in your home, you also won't need to waste time taking this machine apart after each use, since it'll fold down to about half of its original size.
Although you can place your arms and legs in various positions while using one of these machines, it's not safe to stand on your head on the kneeling pad, even if you have gymnastics skills. If your swing were to move, you could get knocked off and your head could slam straight into the floor.
Along the same lines, while this exercise machine may look quite like a regular swing, it's not safe to use it as one by pushing another person as they sit on the kneeling pad. Only one person should ever be using an Exerswing at a time.

Think doesn’t stay in place start swinging and the legs bounce off the ground. This will tip over 100%. I'm sorry I spent 250 on this. Waste of money.

I would think a controlled swing where you are working your abs and gluts (letting them do the work) and not depend on the motion of the swing to do them work would prevent this from happening.
