Is Emeril Lagasse French Door 360 a scam or a great buy?
Emeril Lagasse French Door 360 is a countertop air fryer with a stainless design that's been created to help you cook virtually anything in a healthier manner than you would in a deep fryer. The exterior of each air fryer is made from stainless silver material, and it's specified that the inside, with its five heating elements, will hold up to 25 quarts of food. Each of these air fryers also comes with multiple accessories, including a rotisserie rack and a crisping tray for small food items such as chicken wings.
The cost of Emeril Lagasse French Door 360 is $74.99 and the shipping is FREE!
Before you even plug in this air fryer, you'll have to add the appropriate accessories that'll help you cook the food of your choice. If you want to rotisserie a chicken, you'll need the rotisserie rack, while the grill plate or crisping tray will work well for smaller items and the baking pan is ideal for desserts. To add your selected accessories, open the French doors as your device rests on a flat surface, and slide the accessories into the appropriate slots. If you need further assistance, consult your instruction manual.
Next, while making sure that your air fryer is still sitting securely on a flat surface, plug the device into electricity. At this point, you can also add food—frozen or not—to the cooking area of the device.
With your air fryer plugged in and food waiting inside, you'll need to use the dial in the device's top right-hand corner to manually set a cooking time and temperature. Alternatively, you could use one of the device's pre-set cooking functions, such as the ones designed for chicken, pizza, or slow-cooking. If the food you've put into your device is frozen and you're setting the cooking time manually, add a few more minutes than you otherwise would. Once you've set a time and temperature, manually or otherwise, press the start button on the device's display panel.
When the food that's inside your air fryer is done cooking, the air fryer will give you an auditory signal. If you think the food needs more time inside the device, simply reset the timer to give it a few more minutes of cooking. Otherwise, put on an oven mitt and use the utensils of your choice to move your cooked food out of the air fryer and onto a serving plate.
No matter which one of its cooking functions you use, the Emeril Lagasse French Door 360 will make use of air, as opposed to oil, as it crisps and browns any food that's inside it. By eliminating the use of oil, which is consistently used in deep fryers, it'll eliminate up to 70 percent of the fat-derived calories that you'd get from a meal made in a deep-frying device. Due to the fact that each of these air fryers contains five heating elements, along with fan blades that move at a turbo-charged speed, one of these air fryers will also cook food very efficiently. Each one's 1,700 watts of power and fast-moving blades will cause air to circulate throughout the full 360 degrees of the device, so you shouldn't find any excessively hot or cold spots in your food.
This air fryer has an exterior that's been designed to remain stainless, so it'll likely remain shiny and new-looking for years, without collecting a lot of dirt or smudges. If it ever does end up dirty, wiping the outside with a damp cloth should quickly restore its original appearance.
The Emeril Lagasse French Door 360 looks to be about the same size as a standard microwave, with dimensions of approximately 17 by 16 by 15 inches. However, even though it doesn't look massive, it'll hold a lot of food inside. It's specified that you can cook a chicken that weighs up to six pounds on its rotisserie rack or bake a pizza that's up to 12 inches in diameter within it. In most cases, that'll be enough food to feed an average-sized family for at least one meal.
Each of these air fryers has double (French) doors, so you can open either one or both of them to check on or retrieve food. The doors are mainly transparent, which means they'll also allow you to see what's going on inside your device as your food cooks.
With one of these air fryers, you'll be able to cook food at a temperature as low as 75 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Emeril Lagasse French Door 360's display panel will light up with LED lights when the device is turned on. That means the vast majority of users will be able to read the panel with great clarity. Furthermore, LED bulbs tend to burn for tens of thousands of hours before they burn out, so your panel may keep lighting up brightly for years.
This air fryer is great for cooking traditional lunch and dinner dishes, such as those that are mainly made up of meat, fish, or vegetables, but it'll also help users prepare other meals. It has a toasting function, so you can use it to toast bread or bagels in the morning, and you might choose to use its dehydrating function to dehydrate apple slices for a snack, too. Its baking and pastry functions will enable you to make desserts, and its temperature range extends high enough that you'll be able to successfully bake almost any sugary favorite inside.
If you're trying to lose weight, or someone else in your household is, the fact that this appliance doesn't use oil may help you shed pounds or inches more quickly. As alluded to above, you may end up ingesting up to 70 percent fewer fat-derived calories per meal, once you switch from cooking with oil to cooking with air. Even if your entire household is slim, consuming less oil will be better for everyone's heart as you age, and your air-fried food should taste just as good as deep-fried food does.
This air fryer comes with a recipe book that'll help you determine what to cook in the fryer and aid you with learning how to use its various accessories. The book will likely be beneficial to novice and intermediate cooks alike, especially those who've never used this type of appliance before and don't know exactly where to start.
If you think that the food you're going to cook within this air fryer will drip at all, it's a good idea to add the included drip tray to the very bottom of the device. Be sure to do this before you turn your device on, and remove the tray after you're done cooking, so you can rinse off any splatters that have collected within it.

Bought 2 of the French Door 360 and didn't use ours but the one I got for my sister-in-law we made chicken wings in it and it smokes and makes a big mess so as far as I'm concerned this is a BIG POS, I wouldn't recommend for anyone to purchase this unit if you plan on making chicken or chicken wings. The Power XL is a much better air fryer. If you don't know what POS means, it means piece of sh_t.

I purchased directly from the Emeril site. I also did an upgrade to the dual oven, which obviously cost more $. This is where "buyer beware". It did not come with a grill plate. The sole purpose of buying the air fryer 360 was the grill plate. The upgrade, however, EXCLUDES that and the grill plate and xl crisper tray. When I called, I was told I "didn't read the small print". Must have been so small was invisible. They also charged me a "service fee" on my credit card because "I ordered online". Customer service is rude and the worst I have ever dealt with. This is my 3rd Emeril air fryer and so disappointed, will NEVER buy this product again.

I have it from Emeril as well. It gets very quickly greasy. Most of all, the door mechanism brock and there are no parts to be had. No instruction - nothing. The bothersome is, we are not using this Air-Fryer that often.
Not worth the purchase.
I bought the oven from Kohls 11/2021. I also purchased the 4 yr protection plan from the co. On Christmas 2022 I was rotating the dish and when I tried to close the door I heard a noise. Now the door won't completely close. I emailed empower customer service and explained the problem mentioning the date and where I purchased it and that I had the protection plan. In order to purchase the protection plan I had to send proof of purchase. Also included my complete address in the email. I have gotten 3 responses asking for proof of purchase and complete address. My second and third replies sent them the proof of purchase and complete address again. So far no response to my last reply. I called today and after 15 min on hold, I was asked for a callback number. Will wait and see. I like the oven it's the customer service that stinks. They need to have people in customer service who can/will read the whole email before sending out stupid responses. I agree with the comment about the enclosed recipe book being useless for everyday use.

Buyer beware. Go to kohls but do not order directly from the company. Read above no grill no cookbook.
No basket you have to purchase separately but you have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get. If you are lucky.
I purchased the French Door Dual Air Fryer. I received the box quickly, except for the large air fry basket and the dual grill plates, and the large grill plate. I attached a picture from the customer care site that shows what items are included with the purchase. I emailed the support line, and I received a vague email back stating they were not included and were out of stock. I have emailed twice to find out where they are and if I am not going to get them, I will send them back. I paid over 389 dollars for this cooker and could have bought another brand for far less with the items stated it came with. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Emeril Lagasse should be ashamed that a Power 360 is taking advantage of his good name.

I love my french door air fryer oven. It's almost a year old and the door hinge is broken. There is no help on the internet to find a company to order parts to do a
repair. I don't need an RMA. I need a door hinge replacement part. I would have never bought this if I had known there is no customer service available. The warranty is no good if you don't have a purchase receipt. Emeril Lagasse your warranty has a customer service number that does not service your product. Really?

Why can't Emerill produce a stainless steel drip tray. The aluminum one is impossible to get completely clean.

You claim the product has been discontinued. I found this site DURING a commercial BY Emeril Lagasse for the product.

Yep. I just saw the ad myself. And get this, the commercial--which is an Emeril commercial meaning he's in it selling the darn thing--is saying that you can try it out for 30 days for free with free shipping OR buy it for $14.95 with free shipping and extra accessories. I get on this site strictly for the honest reviews because on Emeril's site for the oven, there are video reviews which you can clearly tell they are paid, actors. And according to this site, it's being sold for four payments of $70 something dollars or $160 on Amazon. Gee Emeril. Are they not selling which is why you are selling the darn thing from $160 to a measly $14.95 with free shipping and extra accessories? Nah. Red flag.
Melanin, the $14.95 price is "to try" the air fryer for 30 days. After that period, the price is about $300.00 divided into 4 payments of $74.99 each. The Amazon offer, however, is not the same model.
I saw the infomercial last night and bought the French Door 360, Air Fryer, today. I'm very excited because my oven hasn't worked for a long time + it's very hard to install a new oven in my kitchen + my microwave isn't working for me anymore. I think this air fryer will be a good deal for me. I don't eat meat, so I'm hoping the 360 Air Fryer will.

You are supposed to review the product AFTER you use it, not BEFORE.
The recipe book included is not practical for everyday use. For example, how many people prepare a prime rib roast more than once or twice a year? Especially at today's prices! Also included are useless recipes such as "Tater Nachos" and "Cheesy Beef Gravy Fries". The whole premise of an air fryer is that recipes are healthier because less oil is used. These recipes don't reflect that. It would be extremely helpful to be able to purchase a more practical and comprehensive recipe book for this appliance.

For the price this should include a useable cookbook for everyday recipes. We're not all born techies!
They offer a 100% return policy, but the customer has to pay the return freight of almost $50 which is about a quarter of the price of the product then lug a 28 lb. Square box back to the shipping company!
In my opinion, they should be sending me a shipping label. How the heck am I going to get it into my car, pull it out and carry it into UPS all by myself then the insult of having to pay for freight leaves me with a minus one-star rating.

It really amazes me during the cooking demonstration there is no splatter or signs of the air oven cooking. It continually looks very clean as if the food was cooked in another air fryer and then moved to an out of the box looking air fryer. I'd like to see food actually cooking and being removed from the same air fryer.

A drip tray or oven tray for baking is very hard to clean without using harsh detergents, which they claim you should not use. Wanted to use tray liners or parchment paper, but I'm afraid of causing a fire. The cookbook 1000 Recipes by Emeril doesn't say what kind of dish to use or recommended sizes. The oven is great, the French Doors nice, but the cleanup on the drip tray is not satisfactory. No recommendations were given for drip tray liners.

Betty-the video below shows that they use foil over the trays for easier clean-up. Guess that might help some of your problem.
Wrap the drip tray in aluminum foil. I do it all the time.
I line my trays with aluminum foil. Very easy cleanup.
Line it with foil which doesn’t burn.
No way this will hold. 6.5 gallons. Of anything.
