Electroman Face Masks are non-medical polypropylene face masks with four layers of fabric. It's specified that the innermost layer of fabric is electrostatic, which means that it's been designed to cling gently but securely to your face via static electricity. Therefore, there won't be a lot of space between your skin and the mask for germs and viral matter to pass through. When you obtain a set of these masks, you'll be able to get either 10, 40, or 100 of them at once.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Hold Mask up to Face

To get ready to put on one of your face masks, hold it in front of your nose, mouth, and chin by hanging onto one of the ear loops with each hand. Make sure the side with the built-in nosepiece is facing inward, and that the nosepiece is lined up with your nose, as opposed to your chin.

  2. Place Loops Over Ears

Next, place one of the ear loops over each of your ears. The ear loops contain some spandex (along with polyester), so they'll stretch around ears of various shapes and sizes.

  3. Adjust Nosepiece

If needed, you can adjust the built-in nosepiece of your mask after you attach the ear loops to your ears. After you've molded the nosepiece to your nose, if necessary, it should fit tightly enough that your mask won't fall down, but not so tightly that it pinches you or restricts your breathing. There's a chance that you may not have to adjust the nosepiece at all, as you may find that the default shape of it suits you just fine.

  4. Wear Mask in Public

With the loops over your ears and the nosepiece sitting securely in place, you'll be able to wear your mask virtually anywhere in public. Keep in mind, however, that you shouldn't wear the same mask for longer than a full day before replacing it.

  5. Dispose of Mask

After you've worn your mask for a full day, take it off by the ear loops and dispose of it without touching the body. If you want to temporarily remove your mask at any point, you should only touch the ear loops then, too, and avoid touching the rest of it.

How It Works

Coronavirus research has shown that an adult's cough or sneeze can travel up to 20 feet in one direction, and most masks only contain three layers of fabric to halt these emissions in their tracks. Fortunately, the Electroman Face Masks contain an extra layer, so if you cough or sneeze with one of these masks on, your droplets will be less likely to reach (and potentially infect) the people nearby. Similarly, if someone else accidentally coughs or sneezes near your face, the four layers of fabric used to construct one of these masks will most likely protect you more effectively than three layers would.

  • Light Blue

The Electroman Face Masks all come in a shade of light blue, so most people will immediately recognize them as health-related masks, as opposed to the type worn by criminals.

  • Sets of Various Sizes

Based on your needs or the needs of your household, you can obtain a set of 10, 40, or 100 of these face masks. Each mask is meant to be disposable and will last for about a day, so it logically follows that a set of 10 (shared with no one else) will give you a 10-day supply. If you do share a set of masks with your household, remember to only offer someone else a mask that you haven't worn or touched.

  • Soft Against Skin

The material used to construct these face masks is purported to feel soft against the skin. As a result, if you need to wear one of them for a full day, you shouldn't end the day with a rash, red marks, or any other type of skin irritation.

  • Breathable

The fabric used to make these masks is also breathable, which means that if you wear one of them with glasses or sunglasses, the eyewear shouldn't fog up. With a mask that isn't very breathable, oxygen is forced to escape out the top, which can fog up a pair of eyeglasses. On the other hand, some air will be able to escape directly through the fabric of your Electroman masks, and the nosepiece of each one will help stop air from traveling upwards, too.

Positive Points

  • Will Fit Almost Anyone

The flexible ear loops attached to each of these masks means that each one will fit almost anyone, regardless of the size of their head. Even children who have heads that are close to an adult size will likely be able to wear these masks comfortably. As long as a mask covers a person's nose, mouth, and chin, and doesn't cover their eyes, it's considered a proper fit. If everyone in your household can wear one of these masks, you'll be able to share one or more sets among the group, but everyone should grab their own from the pack.

Negative Points

  • Not Fda Approved

The Electroman Face Masks haven't been permanently approved or cleared by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Instead, they've only been approved as an emergency device that can be used during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you have any of these masks left after the pandemic is over, you may not be able to wear them any longer (in a legal sense).

  • Do Not Wash

Some cloth masks are meant to be washed, but that's not so with the Electroman Face Masks. They've been designed as single-use, disposable masks, so if you were to wash or rinse one of them, it could lose its effectiveness or even disintegrate. Although your mask may look as good as new after a single day of use, you should always take another one the next day to give yourself the highest level of germ protection possible. After all, some germs that can hang around on fabric and other surfaces are actually invisible to the human eye.

Critical Advice

Masks aren't 100 percent effective at protecting people from the Coronavirus and other viruses, so just because you and all the people around you have fabric masks on, you shouldn't assume you're totally safe. You should always keep practicing other measures that have been recommended to stop the spread of the Coronavirus, such as regular hand-washing and remaining six feet apart from people who aren't in your household.

Save Time

Making your own cloth mask (or waiting for someone to make one for you) and washing it every night can put a dent in the amount of time you have to complete your regular chores. If you obtain a set of Electroman Face Masks, though, you'll immediately have at least 10 masks that you can put on and wear in just a couple of seconds.

Shipped from but Where Made?

The ad states the masks are shipped from their U.S. based plant but no mention of where they are made.
