Double Zapper is a portable device with a handle that's been created with the aim of zapping both flying and crawling pests, such as ants and mosquitoes, dead. It's been made for both indoor and outdoor use and has two separate compartments that give off ultraviolet light in order to attract bugs. Each one of these lantern-like devices runs via a rechargeable battery and comes with a USB cable that's to be used for recharging purposes.
The cost of Double Zapper is $29.95 and the shipping is FREE!

To get started with your Double Zapper, carry it by the fold-out handle on the top to the location of your choice and then place it on a flat surface. This flat surface might be a countertop, a table or even a patio stone in your yard.
Next, activate the device by pressing the round, black power button that's located on the front, near the base. This will turn on the ultraviolet lights that have been built into the center and the bottom of the device, so they can begin attracting bugs. Logically, the uppermost lights will attract more flying bugs, while the lower set will attract more crawling bugs.
Ideally, this device will kill all the bugs in your immediate area, but even if it doesn't quite get them all, the area you're in will end up with a minimal amount of pests. Therefore, you'll be able to socialize with others, relax by yourself or do your favorite activities without having to swat bugs away or worry about getting bit.
When you're done using your device for the time being, or it's been running for a few hours, it'll be time to temporarily pull out the collection tray at the bottom. At this point, whatever dead bugs have been collected there can be dumped into a trash bin or some other container in which garbage is collected. Once that's done, simply slide the tray back into your bug-zapping device.
Unlike humans, flying and crawling bugs are strongly attracted to powerful ultraviolet light. As a result, when a Double Zapper starts to emit this type of light from its middle and its bottom, bugs will gravitate towards it. Flying bugs will enter the device from the middle and crawling bugs will enter from the bottom, all the while unaware that they're going to get zapped once they're inside. After bugs are zapped and their lives have ended, they'll immediately fall down into the zapping device's collection tray for disposal.
Some devices that are meant to trap bugs have been designed for indoor use only, but the Double Zapper can be used virtually anywhere. It may come as a surprise that you'll actually be able to use one to attempt to rid your deck or backyard of pests, but this zapping device will certainly help you reach that goal. Those users who don't want to obtain multiple zapping devices may want to use the device in their home while they're indoors and carry it outside at other times.
On a related note, this zapping device is highly portable and can be carried by its built-in handle from room to room, or from inside to outside, and vice versa. Each one doesn't weigh more than a few pounds, so even children or people with mobility issues likely won't have difficulty carrying one of these for a short distance. Furthermore, if you want to take your device away from home with you, it won't take up more than a foot of space in either direction in your vehicle.
Each Double Zapper contains a rechargeable battery, so you'll never have to plug the device into electricity in order to use it for bug relief. However, you will need to use the included USB cord to plug the device into a USB port, in order to keep the battery as fully charged as possible.
If you're concerned that this type of device will make a grating noise as it runs, or zapping noises as it zaps individual bugs or groups of insects, that won't be the case. It's actually meant to be completely silent as it operates, so it won't disturb you if you place it next to your bed while you're sleeping or your easy chair while you're reading. Along the same lines, it won't disturb others in your immediate environment, either.
Some people use chemical sprays in order to repel bugs from their homes, decks or bodies, but breathing in these chemicals can be harmful to humans. These chemicals can also be damaging to air quality and the environment in general. If the use of chemicals bothers you, you'll be happy to know that the Double Zapper doesn't give off any chemical emissions as it operates. It's true that the ultraviolet light that it uses to attract bugs could be damaging to the eyes, but only if you were to stare straight at it.
A common method for pest control is to use a hand-held fly swatter, but it can get tiring to have to reach up and swat each and every single pest that goes by. Often, the pests will fly or crawl away and avoid getting squished, anyhow. When you use the Double Zapper, though, it's guaranteed that each bug will get zapped after it enters the device, and you won't have to lift a finger after you've set the device up.
If you're someone who feels that killing another living thing is always a cruel thing to do, regardless of the situation, you may not like this type of device. It would be helpful if an alternative device that could attract and eliminate bugs just as effectively, but without actually killing them, could be created.
In order to recharge this type of device's battery and keep it operating properly, you'll need access to a USB port. Most people have personal computers with at least one of these ports these days, but if you don't have one or your computer is broken, you won't be able to recharge your Double Zapper's battery. Unfortunately, when the battery has no charge, the device will literally become useless when it comes to bug zapping.
Under no circumstances should you ever stick your fingers or any other objects through the holes in this device's grate. You must also instruct any children under your care not to do this, either. If you were to stick something inside while the device was operating, you might end up getting zapped, and in a worst-case scenario, this could lead to death.

This is the poorest thing I have bought. It has not killed one insect and wishes I could have gotten my money back. It won't do a darn thing it says it would do and you have to buy other things to charge it.

Yes, that pissed me, off. You got to buy a power adapter to charge it. They said no batteries are required on the package. Great and true, however, why do they not tell you on the carton, you must buy a power adapter? I think that was very sneaky.
Power ad adapter is needed to recharge the zapper as disclosed in the instruction booklet, thank you.

True, however that fact should be printed right on the carton.
Do Not Buy. The first 2 did not work so they sent me 2 more. They are all in the trash now. They do not hold a charge and the light is so faint it doesn't zap anything. I put it outside at night where there were tons of mosquitos and they literally flew in and out of it without a single one getting zapped.

Was distressed at the time of purchase that no delivery information was available. Upon calling was told that the wait time was 2 to 6 weeks. After waiting weeks finally received a letter that contained no identifying company information or invoice information, but simply said that merchandise had been sold to the exhaustion of the product and that my credit card had not been charged. This item is still being advertised. Buyers beware!

Read. Mosquitoes are not attracted to light. That is just a misconception. Also are flies. I doubt it. So do your research. Before you buy.

I beg to differ. Case in point, I was once at a truck stop in Winnemucca, Nevada and there were no mosquitoes bothering me at all. I noticed they had a big bug zapper hanging from a pole, positioned 50 yards or so away. It was zapping a lot! I walked over to take a look at it, and when I got close I suddenly started getting bitten. I came away with 30 or 40 mosquito bites from the bugs that we're circling that zapper.
