The Diamond Gourmet Grill Mat is a rectangular mat with a diamond-infused coating that you can place on top of your barbecue grill. It's been designed to hold the food you're barbecuing in order to help prevent it from getting stuck to or falling through the grate. Each of these fairly thin blue mats is dishwasher safe, and in most cases, will likely stop your grill's metal grate from becoming a mess that you'll need to clean up.
The cost of Diamond Gourmet Grill Mat is $10.00 plus $6.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Diamond Gourmet Grill Mat at the discounted price of only $6.99 for a total price of $23.98.

After you've turned your grill on, or a few minutes before you do, place your Diamond Gourmet Grill Mat on top of the grill with the diamond-infused side facing up. If you do this while your grill is already on, it's best to use tongs to place your mat, as opposed to your hands. In the event that your mat is slightly smaller than your grill, be sure to center it on the grill as much as you can.
Next, add the food that you want to barbecue to your mat. This may include pieces of meat or fish or a smattering of vegetables. You can add virtually any food item to one of these mats, as long as you don't overcrowd it (if any food item has to sit on top of another, the mat's probably too crowded).
Once your food has begun to cook on your grill, you'll have the option of drizzling a sauce of your choice on top of it—without moving the food off of your Diamond Gourmet Grill Mat. If your mat gets dirty, you'll simply need to wash it extra-thoroughly later. At this point, you can also flip certain food items, such as pieces of meat, if need be.
When your food has been cooked fully, remove it from your barbecue with tongs as you normally would and then remove your grill mat with your tongs. You should only remove the mat with your hands if your barbecue has been turned off for at least a couple of hours. Following the removal of your food and mat, you can serve your food as usual and then scrub your mat by hand or put it in the dishwasher.
The reason why the Diamond Gourmet Grill Mat's top surface has been infused with diamonds is that this kind of surface leads to even heat distribution. Therefore, when you barbecue food while it's sitting on top of this mat, you won't find any cold spots, hot spots or burned spots once you start to eat the food. However, aside from promoting effective heat distribution, this mat also has two other important functions. Perhaps most importantly, when it comes to safety, it'll protect your food from anything that may have contaminated your grill's grate. Plus, its non-stick nature will cause any bits and pieces of food to slide off onto your serving plate, so you don't end up missing out on any of it.
This grill mat is nearly as thin as a piece of paper and about as wide as two pieces sitting side by side. Consequently, one of these mats won't take up much space while it's being stored in your kitchen or some other area of your home. Furthermore, each one appears to weigh less than a pound, so it's unlikely that anyone will find it difficult to carry theirs to their grill and back again.
There's no strict limit as to how many times you can use this grill mat before obtaining a replacement. As long as yours hasn't fallen apart, you'll be able to return it to your grill hundreds, thousands or even millions of times. This is actually quite an environmentally friendly product since users aren't encouraged to dispose of it on a regular basis.
If you've got a dishwasher, you'll be able to wash this mat in the machine whenever it gets dirty, although washing it by hand with soap and water is a perfectly good option, too. Even if your mat doesn't look dirty after you've used it, it's best to clean it in some way after each use, so no nearly-invisible food residue that could cause food poisoning is left behind.
The diamond-infused coating on each of these mats is non-stick by nature, so you won't have to pull and tug on your food to get it off the mat and onto your plate. Additionally, if you ever do accidentally leave any food behind, it'll slide right off when you start cleaning your mat instead of stubbornly clinging on. What's more, you'll never need to add a lubricant like butter or oil (which may be full of calories) to your mat to prevent food from sticking.
A public grill in a park or another community space will come in handy if you don't have a grill at home, but unfortunately, you'll never know who used it last and for what. On a positive note, though, you'll be able to protect your food and your body from any potential contaminants by spreading your Diamond Gourmet Grill Mat across the public grill. By doing this, you'll ensure that your food will only touch the mat and not the public grate.
To convert your barbecue grill into a griddle for breakfast foods like eggs and pancakes, all you'll need to do is spread this grill mat across it as you normally would. Following that, you'll have a great outdoor griddling surface.
With each Diamond Gourmet Grill Mat, you'll also receive a baking mat that looks just the same as the grill mat. This baking mat will function in the same way as the grill mat, but it's been designed for the oven, not the barbecue. Just spread it across any oven-safe pan and you'll be able to enjoy desserts and other oven-baked dishes without being concerned about them sticking to the pan. Aside from this second mat, you'll get a diamond-sharp chef's knife with each pan that'll aid you with your food preparation needs.
If you barbecue food directly on top of your grill's grate without the addition of a device like the Diamond Gourmet Grill Mat, you may end up with a big mess to clean up. After your grill has cooled down, you'll likely have to scrape off bits of sticky or burnt food that's gotten stuck to your grate's bars. You may even have to pull food out of the bottom of your barbecue that has fallen through those bars. Luckily, you won't have to spend a half hour or more doing any of this after you've started using your diamond-infused grill mat, though. Since your food will only come in contact with your mat and tongs, it won't get the chance to mess anything else up!
