Dermasution Dermatologist Review

How It Works

The Derma Suction works by using gentle suction to pull out dirt, debris, and blackheads from inside of your pores. The device has a suction-like head that presses against your skin over top of the affected area. On the base of the product, you can choose from three different power settings which control the amount of suction that is used. There is no squeezing involved, only pressure and suction. This device also comes with a larger suction cup head that can be used on larger areas that may have clogged pores, such as your back and arms.

Critical Advice

Dermatologists have stated the vacuum suction is not always the best way to get rid of blackheads, even if used by a professional. When suction is used to remove blackheads, it does more than just that. Often times, healthy and natural oils are being removed from the pores of the skin at the same time. While the Derma Suction claims to be gentle, there is still an inherent danger in using suction and pressure in order to remove blackheads from the skin. These at-home tools tend to be lower-grade than professional tools, and thus not as safe for your skin. If the correct power setting isn't chosen, this can lead to the blotchy skin.

Many products that claim to remove blackheads often pull out the skin follicles and the lining of the pores - though, this may be more due to customers who mistake things for blackheads that aren't. Derma Suction is a device that uses suction to get rid of supposed blackheads, and so it should be clear that devices like this aren't dermatologist approved.

Derma Suction on Body Pimples

Tips & Tricks

  1. Before Use

Before using the Derma Suction, it's important to know what is and isn't a blackhead. Suction devices are good for removing already loose blackheads, but without knowing what is what, the Derma Suction can cause more harm than good. Familiarize yourself with what healthy pore linings and blackheads look like so you're able to differentiate between the two.

  2. Test Suction

Any amount of suction on your face can bring blood and capillaries to the service. It's important to test the Derma Suction on your skin before bringing it to your face. Due to there being three different suction levels, you need to know which one best fits your skin. While the face is more sensitive than other parts of your body, you'll be able to easily test the suction on another sensitive part of your skin, like the inside of your wrist.

  3. Moisturize

After using the Derma Suction, your skin may feel dry due to the suction that pulls out the healthy, natural oils in your skin. This is, unfortunately, hard to avoid with suction based products. After use, it may be best to lotion your face to help restore the moisture that is lost from the suction applied to your skin. This will help make your skin healthier after use.

  4. Prep the Skin

Before using the Derma Suction, you should first prep your pores. Open pores will make it easier for the device to pull out the dead skin. Take a hot, steamy shower or use a hot washcloth on your face. The heat will open your pores and make the capacity for damage from the suction less. Opening the pores will make the Derma Suction work easier.

I bought the Derma Suction at Walmart in Johnson City, NY a couple of weeks ago. It is NOT all that powerful. It does not work as they advertise. Sad. I've followed the instructions and nothing comes out. I'm going to return it and get my money back. The $20 I spent on it was not worth it.

Don't Buy

I would never recommend the Derma Suction to anyone. It Burnt my face I was in the emergency room. Now my face will never be the same. I've lost time at work cause I couldn't perform my duties. I now have to see a dermatologist hoping they can help. I now am suffering from this. Not counting the pain I'm going through.

I just bought your product and noticed that the rubber O rings that hold the caps are looking sort of fatigued. I believe that you should put in the startup kit a tube of lube so that the caps do not wear out the O Rings.

DO NOT PURCHASE

I am so upset I used it once on my face and now I have bruises and red blotches all over. I even had a few areas where I bled. I followed the instructions that were enclosed. I thought this would be a safe item to use. I am so embarrassed I can't even walk outside I want nobody coming over and seeing me this way. I had important things to do today. There are no warnings on this item. Do not use if you take blood thinners. I will be contacting the attorney general and a lawyer. Mild redness my butt.

Dermasuction Doesn't Work!

My husband brought me the dermasuction as a Christmas gift and I opened it believing it would work, I foolishly threw away the box it came in. Only to find out it had no suction at all. What can I do?

Glad I Looked at Reviews

So glad I read these reviews before I ordered.. My 11 almost 12 yr old daughter has terrible acne and skin issues..Took her to the dermatologist a month ago and they gave 2 prescriptions plus medicated soap for her face, which none of these have helped.. She's at the age where she's getting interested in little boys..LOL. Starting her cycle has only made it worse.. Was going to order this to seee if it would help, but thanks , but no thanks now..

This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen whoever buys it is a complete retard and should just burn their money. Let me ask you idiots this. Why don't you take your vacuum or your penis or vagina and slam the shit onto your face because that is what you are doing on a smaller weaker piece of shit that you idiots are paying for? Suck it, you morons.

Your argument would be a lot more effective if you didn't call the person you speaking to a name yourself. "someone once said there is no excuse or reason for calling people names" practice what you preach!

Wow, is it really necessary to call innocent customers such nasty names, you must be a miserable person looking for a fight to compensate for your pathetic personality?

^^^^ Hahahaha this guy's life sounds so. Irrelevant. He came to bash people instead of giving a fair review, ladies and gentleman this is the type dude that comes out of a bathroom stall and has written some vulgar remarks. In grease stained sweatpants, and doesn't wash his hands. He's probably unsatisfied with choking the chicken every night. I picture a sweaty JOE behind a computer screen looking to bash innocent people because that's what predators do. It's okay Joe, there are many weirdos out there a lot like you. Some just decide to end it. Before you do end it consider how much of a mess you might have already caused and put yourself into a body bag so you don't leave another mess. Pitiful fool. 😂🤣.

Everyone just needs to go to Walmart or Walgreens to the As Seen On TV section and buy one if your interested. That way no shipping or handling and if you don’t like it take it back. Heck WalMart takes back just about anything! Sorry I don’t mean to sound mean or bossy just give everyone a heads up who’s curious and don’t have to deal with online services.

Great Idea

Before buying anything always check reviews - Never ever - fall for the buy one get one free BS If you want an item from TV look on eBay, you will find any of the TV items - and you can’t be scammed you will always get a refund -for no item received! Also most drug stores after a short while will carry the item then you are not paying shipping and handling fees. I don’t know if this company is a fraud - sounds like it but I saw this item in Walgreens the other day! 19.95.

I wish I would have seen the reviews before I purchased mine. I just gave it a test ride yesterday without washing my face. It left hickies all over my face! It got some gunk out but not before leaving my face looking worse than it did with the blackheads. Im going to try it again this evening, after washing my face n c if it makes any difference, otherwise its going right back where it came from.

It's a Scam

The is new on TV in my area and I was going to order it. Thank goodness I read all the reviews first! I'm tired of these companies getting away with rip-offs like this. I realized the thing probably just suck out skin oils anyway. Which is actually a natural part of your skin., A blackhead is underneath the skin and to be "sucked out" the skin would have to be broken, or the suction would have to be a lot stronger. That's why they say to put a hot washrag on your face. If everyone just used that washrag and washed their faces at least once a day I think their skin would be nicer. Most skin problems are due simply to dirt in the pores. Dirt.
