Dent Ender is a device which is supposed to be able to easily and quickly get any dents out of your car. Dents happen so easily, and they are costly to repair. With DentEnder the company says you can get them out yourself without going to a body shop and paying a lot of money for a mechanic to buff them out. The manufacturer claims that you can use this device on almost any vehicle and that it can save you thousands of dollars in the long run.

Total Cost Breakdown

The cost of Dent Ender is $14.99 and the shipping is FREE!

Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page:

  • Pulling Bridge & Dent Pullers

The pulling bridge is a device that you place on the dent, and it contains 3 holes where you slide the 'dent pullers'. You tighten the pullers and these hold the bridge firmly in place while you proceed to pull out the dent.

  • Do it Yourself Tool

This product is a DIY tool which is meant to allow the vehicle owner more control over the way their car looks. It's very easy to get little dents and scratches on your car, and it can be frustrating to watch the condition of your vehicle deteriorate. You know that to fix it you're going to have to pay out hundreds of dollars. This allows the vehicle owner to take the car's condition into their own hands a little.

  • Applicator Tool

The dent repair kit comes with an applicator tool. This is a large device that looks like a staple gun, but it's more of a glue gun. There's an applicator which you use to dispense the bonding agent onto the car, right in the middle of the dented area. Then you place the pulling bridge on the bonding agent where it's supposed to stick and tug the dent away.

  • Bonding Agent

The bonding agent is the glue that the applicator dispenses onto the car to hold the pulling bridge in place. Even though this is supposed to be a strong bonding agent, the manufacturer says that it will not leave any kind of mark on the vehicle or take the paint off.

  • Scratch Repair Pen

The entire kit comes with a scratch repair pen. Dent Ender is not supposed to scratch your car, so this bonus gift is to repair the scratches you already had on your car. There's not a lot of information provided about what is in this product or how it works, beyond the fact that it's meant to erase vehicle scratches.

Positive Points

  • Saves Money

Providing that this product works the way it says it does, this cheap item could have to potential to save you a tremendous amount of money. This is especially true if you're a person who takes a lot of pride in the appearance of your vehicle. Getting scratches or dents taken out at the body shop can be costly, and it can add up to a lot over time.

  • Doesn't Damage Paint

The claim here is that the Dent Ender doesn't do any damage to the paint on your car. This device itself doesn't scratch the car and the bonding agent doesn't strip the paint off your vehicle when you pull the dent out.

  • Makes Vehicle Like New

The manufacturer suggests that Dent Ender is such an effective tool that once you use it to buff out all the dents on your car, the vehicle will look like its brand new again. For a few dollars, you'll get a vehicle that looks like it just came out of the dealership.

  • Can Use on Most Vehicles

The company purports that this product can be used on the majority of vehicles. If that's true, it's a great benefit. Unfortunately, they do not suggest which specific vehicles aren't suitable for the device.

  • Inexpensive

For what this product is supposed to do, it's priced very cheaply. Most people could afford the item. Besides, the shipping and handling charges are included with your purchase.

Negative Points

  • Probably Hard to Use

The video on the official website makes this product look easy to use. In reality, it probably isn't all that simple to get right. It likely takes several tries to make any kind of progress with a dent. This is because there are just too many elements that have to be in place. If it were this easy and cheap to buff out a dent, then body shops wouldn't be able to charge the amount that they do.

  • Looks Cheaply Made

The manufacturer claims that this is a product which is made using the highest quality materials. However, just looking at it, you can see that it's probably plastic. If the materials were that high quality, the price of the item wouldn't be so low. That is always a dead giveaway.

  • May Create Dents

This is only conjecture, but it seems like a device like this could just as easily create dents as buff them out. It could also worsen the dent you're trying to get out. At that point, the device would end up costing you extra money in the end.

  • Claims Sound Too Lofty

It's always rather suspicious when the claims of the manufacturer are just too lofty to be true. In this case, we have a cheap tool which is supposed to allow you to remove dents with your own hands. The tool is so effective that it can make your car look brand new like you bought it 30 minutes ago. Everyone knows that this could not be true, so it makes all of the other statements made by the company suspect.

  • Scratch Repair Pen

The scratch repair pen is meant to be a bonus, but it's a strange bonus to go with a device that isn't supposed to scratch your car. It's meant for previously-made scratches, true, but it simply sounds odd. Besides that, we get no information about this pen or how it works. How can a pen take off a scratch on your car? Chances are that the scratch repair pen is just a marker.

How it's Different from Competitors

There are several dent removal devices available on the market. The prices of these devices are similar to the price for Dent Ender. It's not an expensive item for the most part. Many of these products have a suction cup design. They don't have a bonding agent, rather they rely on the power of the suction cup to take out the dents. Other don't use a bonding agent because the design holds the device in place better than for Dent Ender. There are also other products which are fairly similar to this one. A few are more complicated and require the use of multiple parts to get the dent out.
