The DB Method Machine is a product that works to improve lower body strength and tone your body, especially your buttocks. It allows the user to adjust the machine to the proper settings so that users can achieve the perfect squat, which will allow more strengthening in the butt area. The frame is made of steel and molded wood, making it durable. Other amenities are included too to make the experience more comfortable for users.
The cost of The DB Method Machine is $229.00 plus shipping.
Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page: trydbmethod.com
Steel and molded wood are used for the frame, which increases durability and stability. The seat and handrails are padded, which increases comfort. An air punch resistance system is part of the design, and manuals for assembly and instructions are included. A storage strap is included, and the machine folds easily so that it can be stored. The DB Method Machine has wheels on the back end so that it can be wheeled into the selected storage spot after using it.
Biomechanics play a huge role in the DB Method Machine because the creators worked hard to find the precise position needed to do a perfect squat. The machine works to “tone, tighten, and lift. ” It targets the gluteus maximus, which in turn strengthens the users’ butts.
Using the proper adjustments, the DB Method Machine helps users find the perfected position for a proper squat. Engaging your core is crucial to doing a perfect squat, and the machine adjustments do that for you. Squatting will tone the body by squeezing the glutes and lowering the body. After that, you will lift your body up, which finds your “burn zones. ".
The machine was created by Erika Rayman, a New York City executive who has personally experienced the fitness frustration that this machine works to remedy. She was tired of exercising and never seeing any strengthening or toning in her butt region, so she created the prototype for this in 2012 and worked on improving it for a few years. Prospective buyers are comfortable with their purchase knowing that another person has had the same frustrations and experiences with her fitness.
The creator of the DB Method Machine worked to find the perfect biomechanics to ensure that users do not over-extend their knees beyond their toes, which is likely the most common mistake when doing squats. It works to put more pressure on the glutes as opposed to the quads and knees. The machine gives the proper form and aligns the body so that the butt muscles are more isolated and can tighten more than if the users are doing the squats incorrectly.
The product is a patented design and it is easy to fold down and store somewhere when users are finished with it. This maximizes convenience, because most other exercise machines cannot be broken down if needed.
Another pro regarding the DB Method Machine is the availability of instructions and advice on the website plus other Internet resources. Step-by-step guidance is posted online, which helps maximize the effectiveness of the machine. The advice helps users adjust the machine to the proper height settings and dictates the proper way to use the machine.
This includes how to position the feet including the toes and what to do with the arms including how to hold the handrails. The machine also tells users how to arch the shoulder blades and how to engage the core when pushing back and lifting up. It also describes how users should try to shift their weight into the glutes as opposed to putting all the strain on their quads.
The professional website states that the DB Method Machine holds up to 215 pounds, or 98 kilograms. Many people looking to lose weight and get stronger weigh more than this, so the machine may not work for them.
As with any exercise machine, the DB Method Machine is not 100% sure to give the results users are looking for. Expectations may not be met, and users could be dissatisfied.
Of course, caution is needed when using any type of exercise equipment and if users feel ill or lightheaded when exercising, they should stop.
It is important to adjust the machine to the proper height setting. Guidance on this is available on the website.
The DB Method Machine can increase tone and strength, however it is possible that this could be gained through the advice of a physical trainer. Most people looking to lose weight and increase their body strength seek to work on other areas of their body as opposed to just doing squats. Users must weigh their options before making the decision to purchase this.
There are not many competitors that do the exact same thing as the DB Method Machine. However, shipping is much easier than other exercise machines, and returns are also accepted within 30 days.
Purchasers have claimed that the DB Method Machine has increased the strengths in their glutes within just a few weeks if used properly.
Proper squatting technique decreases the amount of knee pain felt, and the machine helps guide users towards this.
There are four main steps in using the DB Method Machine to help tone and strengthen your lower body.
You are first going to want to unfold your Method Machine and set it up. Then, the next step of using the DB Method Machine is going to be to set the height of the seat to match your body. Simply adjust it until it matches your proportions and then you are ready to use.
Once the seat is adjusted and you are ready, position yourself in front of the handles with your feet on the foot ramps. Your toes on the ramp and your heels on the ground. Hold the handrails lightly and engage your core muscles. Arch your shoulder blades towards the back and push back, lowering your butt against the pad. Just as if you were sitting down in a regular chair.
.You do not want to hold the handles too tightly. This could shift the weight from your glutes to your quads and you may not get the results that you desire.
You are supposed to trust that the Method Machine will hold your weight and support you as you squat.
Slowly raise and lower your body. Keeping all motions under your own control. Remember to always squeeze your glutes and to push off with your heels.
You are going to want to aim at shifting the weight off of your quads and onto your glutes. Always alternate different ranges of motion and focus on the spots that you feel the most burn.
You can save time with the DB Method Machine by getting your workouts in at home. There is no more waiting in line for a workout machine. With this product, you will not even have to spend time in your car driving to the gym.
All you have to do is pull the Method Machine out from storage, set it up and you can begin your workout where ever and when ever you would like.
Gym memberships can be expensive. They can be an annoyance when you get a bill every month. This product will save you money because you will no longer need to purchase membership passes or pay for classes or personal trainers.
This product is backed by a 100% user satisfactory guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within 30 days, you can return for a refund with no questions asked. Less shipping and handling.
This product is design for easy and compact storage. You simply unscrew the pegs that hold the legs together, fold the machine down. Then strap it together with the handy storage strap and store it away.
When you are ready to use the Method Machine again, simply undo the strap, fold the machine open, screw the pegs back in and you are ready to use.
It is a good idea to always vary the range of motion during your work out. This will help you engage all of your lower body muscles and achieve the best results.
Start by doing high squats until you begin to feel a burn. Then you are going to want to switch it up. Next, try keeping your squats in the mid level, don't go down too far or stand up too high.
Then, lastly, you are going to want to do low squats. Keeping your body low to the ground, these will likely be the squats that make you feel the burn the most.
You must remember that the seat is not actually meant to be sat on. It is only meant as a guide and to help lead your body through the exercises.
You do not want to have it set too close to your butt. Try to keep it set to just out of reach.
It is important to have the proper foot positioning while using the Method Machine. You are going to want the arch of your foot to sit on the foot ramps. Not your toes and not your heels. Keep your feet parallel to each other and make sure to push through your heels while exercising.
The key is to keep your core engaged at all times, arch your shoulder blades back and only lightly hold the handles.
This is a great product for at home work outs, however, it does not replace the working knowledge and experience of a qualified personal trainer.
For those who are serious about exercising, they might prefer to actually join a gym where the can get on the spot tips and advice to suit their personal workout needs.
If a person is not in the best shape, they may have trouble opening, setting up and using this product.

I received my DM a while ago but had some medical issues arise and am now sitting up in a small gym to include my DM. However, in opening, it found I did not receive all the parts. Where do I send them to for these parts? Dorothy Fantauzzo.

I was excited to get this thing. I am 35, workout 5-6 days a week on my Peloton, and do strength and core workouts as well as some boot camp classes. I consider myself healthy and fit. I have a low back injury that I am very protective of so when I saw people raving it was great for those with back injuries I said sure. The first time it killed my low back- I thought ok it’s me. I tried everything, adjusting the machine, myself, my arms, my feet, I even sat next to a mirror. The pain was still there. After a few tries and an especially bad workout, I tried to do my other exercises and found my back pain so bad I was almost in tears. No way. I returned it and the FedEx guy asked when I started it was an exercise machine, is it one of those DB machines? We have been getting tons of those. So where are the negative reviews? Not on their social media, that’s for sure. They continue to push this as a product for people with all kinds of orthopedic injuries. I’ve worked on orthopedic surgery floors, I understand body mechanics, I’m starting to feel like this was more scammy than I even realized. It wasn’t like I expected a miracle, just wanted to mix up my routine, but I certainly didn’t want to get hurt.

If you have any issues with your knees at all don't believe the posts from people saying that it does not by your knees. I could barely use this because it was so uncomfortable on my knees. It sucks him out $29 to ship it to me and I am gonna have to pay probably at least $30 to ship it back but I'd rather have that money back in my pocket than a portable coat rack sitting in the middle of my apartment.

If it's hurting your knees your form is wrong. I've had knee issues since high school due to sports. This does not hurt my knees at all.
I purchased this machine in hopes that it would help me build strength in my legs to protect my knees. I can't do squats because of crunchy knees. I am 63, 5'8", 120. After using the machine, my knees really hurt and not in a good way like if I kept at it, maybe things would get better. Never could feel anything in my gluts. Just didn't work for me. So if you're thinking of getting this for your knees, think twice. It cost $30 to ship back to PN. I live on the east coast.

I made up my mind when I bought the machine and all the weights, I wasn't going to give up this time and I don't! It only works if you work it, just DON'T GIVE UP!

I purchased a Echelon Vertical Spin Cycle Trainer this past June, and I haven't been able to use it because the pedal bolt and nut were stripped already, and Academy Sports & Outdoors where I purchased it online doesn't have the part and Echelor hasn't responded to my request to send me a return receipt. I had originally asked for a replacement part (pedal), but no one seems to have one, now I just want to send the whole thing back, because each entity is giving me too much trouble in responding.

I've been exercising for years I can do leg extension Decline leg lifts, curl bar squats and none of these cause the pain I experience when using this machine and I only started with 20 reps once on Monday and seconde time Wednesday and literally could not move my body for 2 days. You can definitely see the results are well but I'm not sure what I am doing wrong except like said previously I am putting my heals on where it says heals.

I have definitely noticed a difference in my booty. My butt was starting to look saggy then I bought this and my booty has lifted. It looks so much better in yoga pants now! I've had it for about three months and I use it three times a week. The company is very helpful in providing tips on form and information for getting a great workout with this. I would highly recommend.

That's because that's the price that FedEx charges the company to ship it. It has nothing to do with the company, they have no control over that.
DB Method states you have 30 days to return the product, but what they dont mention is that it is $70+ of your own money that you have to spend on shipping it back.

They clearly state that you have to pay for return shipping. But you can choose whatever carrier you want, it doesn't have to cost $70+.
Obviously, by all of your posts defending every negative comment, you work for the company.
Debbie,
That doesn't even matter. If they are facts, they should be acknowledged. Smh.
Will it help strengthen the quadriceps and hamstring muscles?

Step #2 states toes on the ramp, heels on the ground, yet under tips and tricks, #5 states: arch of foot sits on the ramp, not toes or heels. Please advise as to which is correct? Also, are you supposed to be sitting on the seat or just leaning on it.

I received my Db on Thursday, set it up and did some squats. My knees do not go over my toes! Yeah, did a longer set Friday, and man, am I feeling it today. I'm excited, I found a spot where it can stay out, so I'm more likely to use it daily.

Your too heavy. Don't try to read around this because it's clear as day. Your over the weight limit. If you want to break the machine, injure yourself and waste your money then buy it.
If you’re going to be rude, at least use proper grammar and punctuation. You’re is the correct use.
Wow, if your trying to be the rudest be ever, you win. Mean spirited women are not attractive, especially when you don't even state the facts & you're a liar. Clearly states 250 lbs max.
You are not over weight, they state that the weight limit is 250 pounds.
I am 245 lbs and I use it every day and it works well. Diva is being disgustingly rude.
