Let this knife do all the work for you. With the stay sharp design, it will remain perfect no matter what food you are preparing.
Using this knife means that you can easily cut through any food without applying any pressure. Allegedly you can cut through tough pineapple skins as easily as you can cut through butter with a hot knife.
With this knife you can make delicate, paper thin cuts but will remain sharp. You never have to worry about the knife allegedly dulling, which will save you time and money in the long term.
This is not a replacement for all knives in your kitchen, like it claims. Instead, it can replace many of your standard cutting knives for preparing foods like vegetables.
Allegedly this knife works, but it is not really going to replace all of your other knives, like the advertisement says. There are many different knives in a kitchen set, they are each designed with a separate length, height, and blade design. Different blades are intended to do different things. Some are meant as carving knives while others are meant as peeling knives or dicing knives. This particular knife does not seem to have a professional purpose aside from dicing, but the blade itself is not the proper dicing height. So, you can probably use it to cut foods in your kitchen easily, but you might want to keep other knives around for more delicate work.
This knife boasts the small holes above the ridge, the same as many professional grade knives. These holes are actually what prevent a vacuum from forming between the blade and the vegetables or cheeses you are cutting. The blade, when it boasts these holes, keeps the blade free from cutting your hand when you use it. Speed is theoretically increased with such a blade too because it takes a lot of hard work out of cutting bigger vegetables like potatoes. Small indentations in your blades, above the edge of the blade can do the same thing. It is for this reason that most professional grade knives have small divots or a hole near the handle. For this reason too, knives used for fish will often have that same design to them.
This knife is made from stainless steel, common for all knives. Covered with a copper coating, it falls under the common copper cookware line of products.
With this knife you can save money in two ways. The first is that you can use it for almost all normal kitchen uses. Assuming you have no other kitchen knives, then this one will be the only purchase you have to make, something that will save you money. High end knives can be quite expensive, so by comparison that is much cheaper. Of course, if you already have a knife full of kitchens, you might not save money on that cost, but at least you will have another knife you can use for most kitchen cooking matters.
Secondly, you are able to save money by not having to buy any sharpening tools. Sharpening tools can range from knife bases that have sharpening blades built into them, hand held units, or units that sit on the counter top when in use. With this knife you allegedly do not need to sharpen it, so you never need to pay for this.
The design of the knife is meant to save you time by speeding up the process of cutting. Professionals train for a long time to be able to dice and slice things thinly and quickly, so having a good knife alone is insufficient. However, with this knife, the holes, and enough practice, you will be able to save time.
This knife has a copper coating, but that does not really help its functionality at all. Be warned that it is not copper all the way through. Rather, it is copper coated and still a normal stainless steel knife on the inside.

Couldn't even cut butter, and that was the first time I tried to use it. Don't buy one. You'll regret it if you do.

I have had The Copper Knife for a week and is already dull., wouldn’t even cut through a tomato, as it said it would. Very disappointed, I use my money wisely, and this was not a wise purchase.

This knife dulled after just a month of using it. The copper is flaking off & the handle is loose. It's poorly made & falsely advertised. I would not recommend this knife to anyone.

This knife is not worth a dime. Got mined today and will not even cut plastic paper. Never again.

Like the knife however; after having it for one month the copper started peeling contaminating food. Beware!

My knife also had the copper peeling off after use.
I love the way it feels in my hand - but it's definitely dulled in the short time I've had it ( less than 3mos ). I don't know if it can be used with a hand-held knife sharpener.
