  • Easy Clean-Up

    The Copper Chef Pan and Lid are both dishwasher-safe but must cool completely before cleaning. If you handwash the pan, you should avoid abrasive detergents, steel wool, or metal pads. These products will damage the non-stick ceramictech coating and leave scratches.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Connect Power Cord

    Attach the magnetic power cord to the back of the unit and plug the power cord into a wall outlet. For your safety, make sure the cord is attached securely to the unit as it can very easily detach.

  2. Cooking Mode

    The digital display will turn on after you plug the unit in. To select a cooking mode, turn the program dial to the right or left, illuminating each mode. Press the dial to choose the preset you want and the cooking process will begin. For many modes, you can adjust the time and temperature by rotating the program dial. At any time, you can cancel the cooking process by pressing the Cancel button.

  3. Manual Preset

    The Manual button can be selected to bypass the preset options. After selecting the manual setting, you can press time and temperature and rotate the program dial to set each. This allows you to customize the cooking process for any recipe.

  4. Preheat

    After choosing a cooking mode, the unit will take some time to reach the necessary temperature. At any point in the preheating process, you can select the Actual Temp button to check the unit's current temperature.

  5. Keep Warm Button

    Press the Keep Warm button to adjust how long the Copper Chef Cooker keeps your food heated before you're ready to serve it.

  6. Delay Button

    For each preset, you can decide when you would like your food to start cooking. To adjust when the cooking process will begin, press the delay button and use the dial to select a time.

  7. Reseason

    After frequent washes, you may need to reseason you, Copper Chef Pan. To do this simply add a small amount of vegetable oil to the pan, rub it in with a paper towel, and heat the pan for 30 seconds to a minute. Remove the pan from heat after the oil starts smoking and let it cool. After the pan has cooled, wipe it down with a paper towel and it will be ready to go.


  • Base Unit

    The smart cooker base unit is a 9 or 11-inch black or copper unit with an intelligent control panel. This unit includes a spillover collection tray beneath the control panel that should be carefully removed and cleaned after use.

  • Pan

    The unit comes with a copper pan with an induction plate on the bottom. Since the pan can be removed from the base unit, transporting food and cleaning the pan are both easy, quick processes.

  • Lid

    The pan includes a tempered cook 'n' look lid that allows you to watch the progress of your food without even having to lift the lid.

  • Oil Maximum

    When cooking, never use more than 48 ounces or 1 inch of oil in your Copper Chef Smart Cooker.

  • Don't Submerge Base Unit

    Never submerge the smart cooker base unit in any liquids or water. Since it is an electrical appliance, any liquids will damage it and can pose a safety risk. You should also never put the base unit of your Copper Chef Smart Cooker in the dishwasher as this will damage the electronic product. To clean the base unit, simply wipe the inside and outside of it with a clean, moist cloth.

  • How to Use

    Only place your base unit on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Never place the base unit on a stovetop and make sure you always use oven mitts or potholders when handling to cookware.

  • First Use

    Preheat the unit for a few minutes before its first use to allow it to burn off the manufacturer's protective coating of oil. This process may be accompanied by a slight smell that will go away quickly. After the unit cools down, wipe it with a clean, moist cloth before use.

  • Only Use Copper Chef Pan

    Never put any metal objects besides the Copper Chef Pan into the base unit or on top of the induction plate inside the unit. Only put food or liquid inside the pan and never put any metal objects in the pan or the unit.

  • Non-Metal Utensils

    It is recommended that you use non-metal spoons, ladles, and spatulas in your Copper Chef Smart Cooker to avoid scratching or damaging the finish. Avoid using sharper items like knives, forks, and whisks in your smart cooker to avoid damaging the ceramitech surface.
