These knives are allegedly a copper-based knife because of the name, something which is more than likely a part of the copper shaft line of cookware. Just like the copper shaft liner cookware you need to understand that all it has is a coating on the outside of the stainless steel knife which is copper. You must understand that the entire knife blade itself is not solid copper but instead a copper coating.
If you do not have any knives, then getting a good set is great for any kitchen. However, if you already have a decent set of knives, then it is not necessarily worth the cost of going out and buying a replacement set if you do not need to.
The main difference between these three knives and other chef’s knives on the market is the fact that they have the copper coating. Their copper coating does not actually improve anything about the functionality, taste, or anything else. These are the worst knives I have ever used in 40 years of cooking. Talk about a waste of money! These knives are so dull that I don't even pull them out of the drawer to spread butter. Never.

This is by far the worst set of knives I have ever purchased. I just should have gone to Play world and gotten a set of a childrens knife spoon and fork set. The knife in that set would be sharper than your knives. Lousy product. Very disappointed to say the least.
Ans. If you have the brass too.

I have to agree with this statement. As the cook in the house, I prepare about 90% of the meals. So I'm constantly looking for sharp knives to help me with the prep work. I purchased a set of 2 knives and to my surprise, they're duller than the 6-year-old knives that they're supposed to replace.
