Features

  • Stainless Steel Blade

Clever Cutter has a razor sharp stainless steel blade that lets you easily and quickly slices almost any type of food.

  • Cutting Board

The bottom half of this product is a cutting board. As the blade comes down on the vegetables the cutting board holds it in place allowing for a quick and easy slice.

  • Wide Mouth

The wide mouth design lets you slice nearly anything including apples and baguettes.

  • Dishwasher Safe

This cutting product is dishwasher safe so clean up is easy.

  • Safety Latch

It also has a locking safety latch for when you are not using it. This is a safety precaution to prevent any unwanted injury.

  • Not One but Two

Every order comes with not one but two of these devices.

  • Clever Peeler

You will also be provided with the Clever Peeler. This peeler can be used to peel anything whether it be potatoes, apples, carrots, eggplant and more.

Advantages

  • Durable

The Clever Cutter Blade is so sharp and durable that is can cut through corn on the cob.

  • Cut Faster

By using this cutting tool you can cut food items ten times faster than you normally would if you were using a knife and cutting board.

  • Cuts Almost Anything

You can use this cutting tool to cut almost anything. Use it to slice veggies, pepperoni, sausage, cheese, potatoes, apples, onions, meat and so much more. Since you can use this cutter for almost anything it will help you create mess-free meals in a flash. Use it to make salads, stews, soups or even to add a herb garnish to a plate of pasta.

  • No Mess

Using a knife and cutting board can leave you with a messy kitchen. When you try to scrape the sliced food into a pot or container you often spill food on the counter and floor. By using Clever Cutter you can slice your food directly into the pot or bowl so you do not have to worry about spilling anything.

  • Easy Storage

Since this kitchen tool has a safety latch it stores folded. This saves you a lot of space in your drawer because it stores small.

  • Ergonomic Design

The ergonomic design makes the device comfortable and easy to hold. A non-slip surface ensures you will not lose your grip.

How It Works

The secret behind Clever Cutter is the power pressure handle. This handle automatically focuses pressure to ensure fast and easy cutting. It is the handle that forces the blade and cutting board to come together to create an effortless cut.

Save Time

Using a knife and a cutting board is time-consuming. It involves slowly slicing, pouring the sliced items into a container or pot and it involves scrubbing your cutting board. Using this product will save you time in multiple ways. You will spend less time actually slicing the food items, you will not have to waste time pouring anything and there will be no scrubbing of a cutting board. All in all using Clever Cutter will save you time during meal preparation and during cleanup.

Cons

  • Bread

Users that attempted to cut bread often commented that softer loaves of bread such as french bread were difficult to cut. Harder loaves of bread tended to fare better. Softer loves often resulted in squashed slices.

  • Tomato

The Clever Cutter is capable of cutting through a tomato but often results in a less than perfect results. The device worked better on harder tomatoes but if the tomato is too soft it could result in a messy squashed tomato. Some users stated that the Clever Cutter had issues specifically with the skin of the tomato. When a quick chopping motion is used the device tended to cut through more efficiently.

  • Lime

The hard rind of the lime made it nearly impossible to cut through. When this was demonstrated by third-party reviewers, they were often left with a dented uncut piece of fruit.

  • Apples

Clever Cutter is capable of cutting through an Apple. Most types of apple are too large to fit through the opening and prevented the fruit from being cut in traditional ways. While you should have no issues getting a clean cut, users may be forced to settle for unconventional slices.

  • Corn on the Cobb

One of the main demonstrations used in the commercial was the Clever Cuts ability to chop through corn. When users attempted this themselves they found that most ears of corn were unable to be sliced. Furthermore, if you attempt to cut through corn you are likely to get kernels flying off the cobb.

  • Safety Lock Prone to Slipping

While cutting, the safety lock has a tendency to revert back to a closed position. This causes the knife not to cut all the way through. If this happens, simply reset the safety lock to an open position.

Warnings

  • Safety Concerns

Many third-party reviewers made a point to note that they thought they might cut themselves on the Clever Chop. Due to your hand being close to the blade when you cut certain types of things, the user might be prone to injury. It is very important that you stay alert when using this device. Some users noted that they felt like they had less control using the Clever chop than they would with a traditional knife.

Where it Shines

  • Personal Pan Pizza

One user chopped through a personal pan pizza with ease. The Clever Chop worked very well for this type of food. A traditional pizza cutter is prone to making the cheese slip and the Clever Chop did not have this issue.

  • Cheese

Cheese is notoriously difficult to slice with traditional cutlery, while professional chefs have mastered the technique for doing so the average home cook often struggles to cut through blocks of supermarket cheese. The Clever chop slid through several varieties of cheese with no problems.

  • Celery and Carrots

The Clever Chop can smoothly cut through both a stalk of celery and a carrot simultaneously. This functionality can help you save time in the preparation of your food. This will help the user prepare soups and stews in a very timely fashion.

I Regret Buying it!

Worst Buy Ever

Bought the Clever Cutter. Utter waste of money!
Can not cut anything straight or thin. Stick with a knife and chopping board.

I Regret Buying it!

It Broke on Second Use

I tried to cut the stems of some roses and it broke.
Maybe it has to be limited to soft things.

I was weary of buying it as I am of all as seen on TV products but, I was surprised this works great as long as you do it right. Follow the instruction.

I Regret Buying it!

Doesn't Work as Shown

Bought this Clever Cutter @ bb&b last week, but too busy, didn't have a chance to use it until today. Very disappointed because, it cut - but not cut through? Everythings, after cut still hang on at the bottom. Save your money, don't buy it.

I Regret Buying it!

Disappointing

Clever Cutter is not clever at all - it will NOT handle potatoes unless they're tiny, then it's an amputation waiting to happen. Also can't handle tomatoes or soft vegetables, or anything bigger than a small onion, which, by the way, it doesn't handle either. It won't slice anything thin. Waste of money.
