This unit is a hammer, with the round metal piece at the end similar to the brunt of a hammer.
It has a bit driver and a tape measure in addition to a flashlight. What makes it technically 17 tools and one is that you get 12 bits for screwing flat head or Phillips head screws of different sizes.
The clever buddy is 17 tools in one. It is designed to be a multitool but with higher functionality so that you always have the right to complete whatever job it is you are working on at the time. There are ergonomically friendly finger marks built into the tool so that when you hold your fingers fit perfectly inside the different areas.
It is decidedly lighter compared to a toolbox and you can hold it in the palm of your hand. This makes work much simpler insofar as you can simply hold this one tool as you go to a project rather than carrying an entire toolbox.
The plastic housing is not very durable especially compared to individual tools like an individual screwdriver or hammer. While it is a nice component to have in a quick fix situation like in your boat or it is not necessarily something that should be used in exchange for a comprehensive toolbox.
Having a full toolbox with high-end tools that last a lifetime is still a sound investment particularly for any home. Professionals might not benefit as much from this one tool. In spite of its cheap cost the lack of durability makes it prone to breaking which takes away from the entire purpose of having reliable tools.

So, you can rest the flat bottom piece on any surface and use the level to make sure what you are hanging or installing it straight. Clever Buddy's flashlight is found on the tip of the unit and with a simple press on or off the battery can be powered. There is a sliding panel that has the word open on it. From that sliding panel you open the red top part of the tool and find all of the different bits inside. The tape measure comes out of the red tool opposite the flashlight.
This unit saves you money if you don't already have all of the other 17 tools that it is supposed to be. Rather than buying all of the 17 tools you can instead by this wonderful forest significantly cheaper amount and use it exclusively.
This unit saves you time by not only speeding up how fast you can get something done but by giving you the one tool you need to do lots of different things at once. When most people go to do tasks such as installing furniture or pictures it takes multiple tools which can be time-consuming. With this one tool you can instead find your way around in the dark with a flashlight, always make sure that things are straight. Additionally, use the two position bit attachments, use the tape measure for precise accuracy, use the on board hammer to get jobs done fast, and find the perfect fit.
There are alternative units similar to this one which contain different bits and multiple tools in one. None of the comparative options on the market contain the level and the hammer in addition to the tape measure. As such this particular unit is comparably better based on the number of tools it has however the quality of the tools. Additionally, the quality of the plastic components out of which it is made call into question whether it is worth the cheaper cost. Having cheaper tools versus investing in high-end tools individually which will last a lifetime is a concern.
