The Clear As Day Clock is a digital clock that you'll be able to see clearly during the day or at night, even if you're sitting or standing across the room. Each clock has a black screen with a light turquoise, large-print digital display. The digital display includes not only the time but also the date, day of the week and part of the day (morning, afternoon or evening). This clock's screen dims a bit each night, but not so much as to prevent you from reading it.
The cost of Clear As Day Clock is $39.99 and the shipping is FREE! Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page: clearasdayclock.com
Before you starting using your Clear As Day Clock, you'll need to choose a location. This clock will hang on the wall or sit on any flat surface in the same way that a picture frame does, so you'll have a variety of options.
Once you've selected a location for your clock, you can then move on to setting the date and time by following the instructions in your manual. Be sure to set the correct year, since if you don't, the day of the week displayed on your clock will be wrong, too.
Next, you'll have five custom alarms that you can set if you'd like. Besides setting an alarm for the time you want to get up, you can also set alarms to remind you to do certain things, like take medications or attend meetings. You'll even be able to choose a written message to appear on the screen when a particular alarm goes off, so you'll always know what your clock is reminding you to do.
The reason this clock's display is so clear is twofold: first, the print is large, and secondly, the contrast between the turquoise print and black background is so bold, it's highly noticeable from far away. Each clock's screen is also slightly illuminated, even at nighttime, which makes the print even more clear. Therefore, almost anyone will be able to read the letters and numbers on the clock from anywhere in the room—and perhaps even from the next room.
The digital display on this clock doesn't include any abbreviations, so you'll never have to stop for even a few seconds to figure out what an abbreviation means. The full names of all the days of the week show up, with no shortened forms, and the words "morning, " "afternoon, " or "evening" are not shortened either.
After a power outage, once your clock comes back on, it'll automatically reset to the proper date and time, so you won't need to take care of that yourself. That means none of your alarms will be going off at the wrong times and annoying or confusing you.
Every Clear As Day Clock has a white border, which will make it look good in virtually any room, including the bathroom. To make the clock make look more interesting, you might choose to decorate yours with decals of some sort.
One of these clocks is ideal for a child's room, especially if that child can't tell time very well yet. They'll be able to immediately wake up and see the time, along with the day of the week, and this will help them learn to spell the days of the week correctly. They can also set alarms to remind themselves when to do their homework or go to certain extra-curricular activities. Plus, if they're afraid of the dark, the small amount of light that comes from each clock at night will help soothe their fear.
Some seniors and even some younger adults need glasses but don't want to wear them all the time at home or at work. A Clear As Day Clock will be useful for anyone with that preference, as they'll likely be able to read the clock's bright and clear display without their glasses on.
Aside from the standard version of this clock, there's also a deluxe version available. The deluxe version is as compact as the regular version, but instead of five alarms, you'll be able to set 15. If you're a person with a lot of daily responsibilities, you may benefit greatly from the upgrade.
Since it's stated that this clock will automatically reset after a power outage, this implies that you'll need to plug it into electricity in order to operate it. If you've got it plugged in all the time, this could lead to an increase in your electricity bill. What's more, your alarms won't go off if the power's out, and if you don't realize that it's out in the middle of the night, you could wake up late.
Instead of wasting time squinting at your watch or your phone's screen at home or at the office, you'll be able to take one quick glance at this clock in order to verify the time. You'll also get the full date in that glance, too, so you won't have to go and look at a wall calendar, a digital calendar or the newspaper to verify that.
