Clean Zone Masks are triple-layered, non-medical masks made for people to wear during everyday activities, such as grocery shopping or outdoor exercise. Aside from filtering out bacteria, these masks have been designed to filter out pollen, dust, and fluids, too, in order to minimize your risk of harm. Each light blue mask has flexible ear straps, along with a nosepiece that's moldable, and it's stated that each one will cover your chin, mouth, and nose while leaving your eye area free.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Put Mask on Face

When you pick up one of these masks, you'll notice that while both sides are blue, one side is a little lighter than the other. While keeping this side closest to your face, place your mask gently against your mouth and nose and loop one of the straps around each of your ears. You must also make sure the edge of the mask with the nosepiece is the one that's resting closest to your nose.

  2. Adjust Nosepiece

You may need to pull on the bottom of your mask a bit, in order to get it to cover your entire chin, but once you're done that, it'll be time to mold your nosepiece. You'll find that it's fairly flexible when you push on it with your fingers, so it shouldn't take you too long to adjust it to suit the size and shape of your nose. The fit should be tight enough to stop the mask from slipping off your nose, but not so tight that you'll have difficulty breathing.

  3. Wear Mask Out and About

Once you've got your mask on, you'll be able to wear it virtually anywhere, indoors or out. While masks like these have been designed for public use, so you can protect yourself from germs in the outside world and protect others from your germs, there's nothing wrong with wearing one at home. However, you should take your mask off while you're bathing or sleeping.

  4. Dispose of Mask Safely

Each Clean Zone mask should only be worn once, so it follows that you'll need to dispose of each one you wear at the end of each day. For safety's sake, in case there is bacteria or viral matter present on the mask, you should hold each one by an ear loop or two as you toss it in the trash.

Clean Zone Mask Commercial

Features

  • 10 Masks Per Set

In each set of Clean Zone Masks, you'll get 10 individual masks. If you wear a mask every day, it almost goes without saying that you'll have enough masks for 10 days. Unused masks can also be shared with others in the same household, although you should never give anybody else a mask that you've already used.

  • One Size Fits Most

Due to the adjustable nosepiece and the stretchy straps, one of these masks will fit the vast majority of adults and offer them ample room to breathe. The masks may also fit some children, but they may be too large for others and end up covering their eyes, which isn't safe.

  • Soft Fabric

While you're wearing one of these masks, there should be a small gap between its fabric and your face, which is what will give you your breathing room. However, the fabric used to construct each mask is soft and lightweight, so it likely won't irritate your skin if it rubs against it at any point.

  • Odorless

You won't have to worry about breathing in an unpleasant smell while you wear a Clean Zone mask, either, as each one is reported to be odorless. Some people might choose to wear non-medicinal masks that are scented, which may be pleasant for a while, but may also result in a user removing their mask prematurely because they're tired of the scent.

  • Light Blue

The Clean Zone Masks are all light blue with white straps, the color combination that health-related masks typically come in. Consequently, most people will likely realize you're wearing a mask for your health right away, instead of associating your mask with criminal activity or a costume.

Positive Points

  • Promote Good Public Health

Many public health units in North America believe that it's beneficial to wear a mask because it'll stop you from spreading viruses like the Coronavirus to others. A mask will also stop potentially infected droplets emitted by other people's mouths and noses from landing on your mouth, nose, or chin. All in all, wearing a mask is a pretty pain-free way of contributing to the general health of your community, during the pandemic and any regular flu season.

  • Aid With Allergies

Since one of these masks will help block pollen from coming in contact with your nose and mouth, and pollen is a common allergen, it follows that wearing one may minimize your allergy symptoms. The same goes for dust, as many people are allergic to it, too. By simply putting on one of these masks, you may be able to keep your intermittent coughing and sneezing to a minimum, and other people may find it more pleasant to be around you.

  • Won't Interfere With Glasses

Each Clean Zone mask will leave your eye area completely uncovered, which means you should be able to wear your usual pair of spectacles without problems. Plus, while some masks direct a user's breath in an upward direction instead of straight ahead, which can cause glasses to fog up, these masks don't. As alluded to above, they'll give you ample room to breathe normally, so no fogging should occur.

Negative Points

  • Not Reusable

You can wash some masks and wear them over and over again, but that's not the case with these Clean Zone Masks. You're supposed to throw each one out after you've worn it for a day, so after 10 days of mask-wearing, you'll need a new set, and you'll have created more trash for a local landfill. You could ignore these instructions and wear a single mask for multiple days, or even throw it in the wash anyhow, but it may stop doing its job properly and leave you at risk.

Warnings

  • Keep Masks Cool and Dry

Any unused mask in your set of Clean Zone Masks must be kept away from excessive heat, and you should also prevent each one from getting wet. If you store the masks at room temperature, in a dry place, they'll work as effectively as possible, but they may lose their effectiveness if they're exposed to high temperatures or water.

  • Not a Harsh Chemical Barrier

If you're working with harsh chemicals, it's unlikely that one of these non-medical masks will protect you from their potentially negative effects. They've been designed to protect you from weaker chemical solutions that are used for at-home cleaning purposes, but they won't shield you from anything harsher than those. You'll need stronger personal protective equipment if you're working in a science lab or a medical environment.

SCAM - DO NOT ORDER

I placed an order early May and it was immediately charged to my credit card. I also received a tracking number right away and guess what. No order was ever received. I've communicated with this sham of a company several times and was promised a new tracking number as well as a new shipment. I have received nothing from this company. I think since the price is so low, many won't go through the effort to dispute the charge, but I sure did. My only regret is the lowest I could rate this company is 1!

Very Bad Deal

I made the big mistake of ordering these masks well over a month ago and never received them. I am unable to tract my order on line and the Emails I get just keep saying "they will be shipped as soon as possible". They took my money and sent an Email upon receiving my order stating that it was "shipped". Bad Company!

CHEAP CRAP

These masks are the same ones you can buy at Wal-Mart. They do NOT prevent glasses from fogging. The difference is Walmart is 25 masks for $19.00. Hey, maybe they bought them from Wal-Mart and just tripled the price? 76c a piece or $3.00. Your choice.

Waited 1 hr n Hold to Complain

I got home from being away. An email was waiting to tell me CleanZone was shipping me, not one, but two of their item () that I had never ordered and until now didn't even know their company existed. So far I have been waiting over an hour to complain to "someone"? All I hear is " thank you for waiting, calls are being taken in the order that they are received. A customer service representative will be with you shortly. During my wait time, I have talked with the dispute folks at my credit card company. After I FINALLY talk to whomever I will call the credit card company and see if we should file a fraud charge and get a different credit card number. Lots of luck with trying to make contact with these dead beats.

Cleanzone Mask

These mask are to be thrown away after each use. 30 bucks for ten mask you can only use once? And right on the package it says not for medical use. What the hell do they think I'm going to do with them? I guess you use them when the stores run out of toilet paper again. I am pissed at this price gouging!

Lot of Advertising

Have not tried but the high price is highly suspect. TV ads are not cheap these days. They must be manufacturing these for pennies on the dollar!

Shame on Clear Zone

Shame on Clear Zone. Made in China is why we can't get any needed products. US sent their manufacturing to foreigners and they control everything now.

Yup! During the Obama/Biden era, all the manufacturing jobs were sent to China! China where zero health policies are in places! The products can be made in the sewer we would never know! Now they’re selling these products lying that it’s made in America then when you come in clearly states made in China. The same country that created this pandemic!

Where are the Masks Made?

The ads say the masks are shipped from the USA, but my question is. Where are these masks made and shipped from first? Ask yourself, how can I trust a product designed to protect my health without first knowing where are they made.

Too few for too Much!

Why would anyone ever buy these? I paid 17.99 for 50 of the identical type masks! This price point is what we in Florida used to see in Florida before and after a hurricane when the price of plywood and batteries would triple! It's illegal and called price gouging!

Bacteria vs Virus

During this pandemic why would anyone want a mask that protects against bacteria? Bacteria is about 100 times bigger than virus so what good is this mask?
