This product is great when coupled with other red copper items. The red copper product line is vast and includes things like the square pan which has a bigger area in which to cook, in addition to a salad cutter. In any case, this knife can make a great addition to your home collection.
How it's Different from Competitors
This reliable knife is useful preparing any food. Much like other knives on the market it will cut and slice your food. However, other knives are not ceramic and copper infused. Allegedly this is the only knife on the market that has a razor-sharp edge while other knives do not; this is clearly questionable. It also claims to be the only one on the market that is lightweight and durable. While these claims may not be entirely accurate, as there are many high-end knives which are durable and lightweight, that doesn't mean that the red copper chef knife is not worth purchasing.
The ceramic and copper design allegedly helps food to slide right off the blade. When you look at the blade itself you will see that there small divots cut into the bottom part of the blade. These are actually meant to prevent suction especially when slicing things like cheeses. You will also notice that the blade is tall and long; both of which help to cut a wide range of things rather than only cutting one or two types of food.
Chef knives are meant to be used on just about everything compared to sets of advanced knives which only work on one or two food items. As a result, you can cut all of the main foods which you would want to prepare for your meals using this one knife. This saves you time switching to other knives while also saving time trying to get the food to not stick to the knife.
If you do not have a chef knife in your home then you can save money by purchasing this one. Relatively inexpensive compared to high-end knives, it still gets the job done the same way that other knives would and is a nice way to start off your culinary collection.
