Chef 360 is a new slicing, dicing, and cutting tool that lets you prepare toppings for your foods with ease and with increased safety. No longer do you have to make a big mess when you are preparing foods for dinner, worrying about the chopped onions rolling off the counter. Instead, everything you cut or slice lands right in the same bowl. When you are done, just put a lid on it and store it without getting another bowl dirty.
The cost of Chef 360 is $19.99 plus $9.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Chef 360 at the discounted price of only $9.99 for a total price of $39.97. This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page found at buychef360.com; however, the company has since ceased selling Chef 360 and has taken down the website. With this unit you can create purportedly amazing meals in a matter of minutes. Salads, and salsas too.
You can create sliced potatoes for fast and simple chips or French Fries. Use it to make amazing fruit salads that everyone will love.
With this unit you do not have to worry, guess, or eyeball your measurements. Now you have built in measuring marks on the unit so you can follow recipes to perfection with almost no effort.
There is a storage lid on the unit which makes it easy to keep any leftovers. All you have to do is take the convenient lid out and place it on top. This will store your leftovers for as long as you need without you having to search through a pile of lids or containers.
With the circular design of this unit, grating will not be an exhaustive task. You can make shredded cheese for your nachos, pizzas, or salads in no time.
This unit makes cooking fast and fun. With interchangeable blades you can slide foods or grate foods.
The non-slip base means the unit will stick to your counter top or other cooking surface, without issue. If, however, you have a cooking surface which is not compatible with the suction cups on the bottom, then this will not be of much use to you.
When you are done using the unit, you can put the different blades and the base inside the dishwasher. This makes clean up fast and simple.
The website photos and captions have spelling errors, like a misspelled "interchangeable". While this has no bearing on the product itself, one has to question whether they want to invest in a product whose website was so carelessly put together that spelling errors were not caught.
Unfortunately this design is only available in one size and one color. So if you already have a set of kitchenware that is any color but bright green, this might stand out. Moreover, if you only want to prepare a small amount of food at a time, or you want to prepare multiple things at once, you will not be able to use the same storage bowl.
Take the bowl and use the suction cups on bottom to stick it to your counter top or kitchen surface. This increases safety by decreasing movement.
Then, based on what you are preparing, pick the blade appropriate for the food preparation you need. There are three blades from which to choose. Grate or julienne your foods with different blades, thicknesses, and designs.
Hook in the handle / feeder so that you can safely feed the foods onto the blades. When hooked, it should sit perfectly in the center, and move around the top of the blade. Then watch as the system prepares your foods quickly.
You will still have to cut the foods to a small enough size that they will fit inside of the feeder. Once that is done, you just hold on to the handle feeder and spin it around and around. This will slide the foods repeatedly over the three sections of blades located on any single blade. While holding the feeder, your hands never come near the blades themselves, so this increases the security and safety of using it.
When you are done, store the food easily by sticking the lid on top of the bowl and putting the bowl in your fridge. The same suction cups useful when preparing your food can be used to adhere the bowl to the refrigerator shelves.
With this unit you can prepare things like grated cheese from a big block of cheese. Blocks, by comparison, are less expensive than grated cheeses. Using the lid, you can prepare enough cheese for multiple meals, then take a little out each time you need it without having to dirty another bowl.
Moreover, the unit itself has everything you need to prepare foods without making a mess. You get to just attach the blade to the bowl, rather than trying to hold a separate blade over any old bowl in your kitchen. After that, you get to make sure all of the food you prepare lands in that same bowl and is not falling all over the place in another bowl. This helps keep the kitchen clean and limit any messes in your home.
While this unit is similar to many other designs, it differs insofar as it is a circular shape. Most of the other designs that have detachable blades also have a square or rectangular shape to them. This one has the large, circular shape. While misleading in its claim to provide a full meal within minutes, it certainly does help reduce food preparation time, especially for things like shredding or dicing. The other models though, have larger blades and a handle that you use to push the foods through the blades. Often this means you can cube little bits of vegetables for thicker salsas, for stir fry, and more. This design is particularly safe for making garnishes, or small toppings that might otherwise be challenging to cut with a regular knife. Additions like chopped green onions or parsley for your foods is now simple.
Yes, this design really works. The design works as effectively as almost any other hand slicing and dicing system on the market. Using the suction cups on bottom is something that other designs have not thought of though, so this system will not slide as you are slicing. That is a great feature that really makes it stand out. The blades will certainly work, but be cautious that they might wear out or lose their effectiveness with regular use or time. Such damage might make it harder to get the slices or dices you want, and instead force you to replace the blades.
