Carwash Cannon is a car-washing system that's been created to serve as an alternative to sponges and buckets or a professional carwash away from home. Each system consists of a container with an attached handle and nozzle that can be connected to any ordinary garden hose. With each container, you'll actually receive two interchangeable nozzles, including a wider one for larger areas and a precision nozzle for smaller areas of your vehicle. Aside from cars, this system has also been designed to clean boats, RVs, motorcycles, and more.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Attach to Garden Hose

Before you can use your Carwash Cannon system, you'll have to attach the black end of the system's handle to an ordinary garden hose that has a reliable water supply and is functioning properly. Be sure that you've twisted the end of the garden hose as tightly as possible into the handle so that the connection will be unlikely to leak. Meanwhile, the other end of your garden hose should be connected to a water source.

  2. Fill Container With Soap

Next, fill the container of your system, which will be about the same size as an athlete's water bottle, with the liquid soap of your choice. To do so, you'll need to remove the blue lid, and you must make sure you've put it back where it came from when you're done with the filling process.

  3. Select Nozzle and Attach

You'll notice that with this car-washing system, you've received a wide nozzle and a precision nozzle. If you'd like to pinpoint smaller areas of your vehicle that are especially dirty, the precision nozzle is the best choice. Otherwise, the wide nozzle will likely suit your needs. No matter which nozzle you pick, you'll have to attach it to the lid of the container you just filled.

  4. Turn on Water and Wash

Once your system's handle, container, and nozzle are in place, turn on the water supply to fill up your garden hose. Within seconds, the water from the hose should mix with the soap inside the container and make thick foam come out of the container's nozzle as you press down on the system's blue handle. Keep pressing down on that handle until you've sprayed all the dirty areas of your vehicle with foam.

  5. Rinse Vehicle

After you're done washing your vehicle with your Carwash Cannon's foaming soap, turn the dial on the top of its lid two times to the right to activate its rinse setting. This will cause only water to come out of the system's nozzle, so your car will get a full rinsing.

How It Works

When you turn on the water source that's connected to your Carwash Cannon, and press down on the system's handle, this will cause water to mix with the soap inside the system's container. Additionally, the connection between the water source (your garden hose) and the system, along with the way that the system is shaped, will lead air to combine with the soap and water, too. Due to being infused with air, the soap and water combination inside the system's container will turn into a thick foam that'll be capable of cleaning a vehicle in just minutes.

  • Compact System

With a handle and two nozzles that are each about a few inches long, and a container that's about the size of an athletic water bottle, this is a compact car-washing system. You'll be able to transport it almost anywhere in a car, a truck, a van, or any other covered vehicle, where it'll only take up about a foot of space in your trunk or backseat. If your vehicle becomes filthy while you're away from your primary residence, you'll be able to clean it with this system, as long as you have access to a garden hose.

  • Accommodates Different Soaps

When you use the Carwash Cannon system to clean a vehicle, you won't have to add liquid soap of a particular brand or type to its container. The system will accommodate any kind of soap, as long as it's in a liquid form. Therefore, if you have a favorite liquid soap that's worked well on your car before, you'll be able to continue to use it. If you happen to switch brands of soap, washing out the system's container in between cleaning sessions won't even be necessary.

  • Works on Various Vehicles

While this cleansing system has been designed with cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs in mind, it'll also work on other types of vehicles that may be less commonly used, such as RVs, motorcycles, and boats. If you don't use all the soap and water from one fill of your system's container to clean a single vehicle, you can move on and clean the next one with the same solution. Furthermore, you'll be able to use this type of solution to spray down the siding of your home or some dirty patio furniture, too.

Positive Points

  • Little Physical Work Required

If you decide to clean your vehicle with a sponge and bucket, you'll need to fill and carry that bucket. You may also strain your back by bending down to wet your sponge again and again, and over time, your dominant arm may end up hurting as you scrub your vehicle's exterior. Fortunately, especially if you have mobility issues, there isn't as much physical work involved with the Carwash Cannon system. Instead, all you'll need to do is hold a garden hose at about chest-level and press down on a handle.

  • Unlikely to Cause Scratches

On a related note, some sponges and washcloths can create scratches on a vehicle's exterior, especially if your scrubbing technique is aggressive. When you use the Carwash Cannon system to clean your vehicle, though, no potentially scratchy cloth or sponge will ever be touching the exterior of the car. The only thing that will be coming in direct contact with it is the thick foam that the cleansing system creates, which will not make scratches on any surface.

  • Users Don't Have to Leave Home

Using the Carwash Cannon system, if you've got a suitable water source and enough liquid soap on hand, won't require you to leave home. You'll be able to wash the entire exterior of your vehicle in your own driveway, without having to drive to your local carwash and sit and wait while a machine does the job.

Critical Advice

If you start cleaning one of your vehicles with one of the Carwash Cannon's nozzles, such as the wide one, it's not absolutely necessary that you continue with that one. You can swap it for the precision nozzle (and back again) during a single cleaning session if you notice that certain areas of your vehicle, such as the tire spokes, need to be cleaned differently.

I just use it and was not impressed! Good soap spray but did nothing to remove the dirt! Had to wash my pickup truck by hand to give it that sparkly clean shinny truck!
