BurnStop Face and Hair Protector is a protective sleeve that fits over the top of your curling iron. It comes in four different sizes; 0.75", 1", 1.25", and 1.5", and can fit over all types of curling irons including the professional long-styling barrels.
The sleeve is designed to protect your skin from painful burns from touching the 450-degree heat of a curling iron. It acts as a barrier between the curling iron and your skin, and is particularly useful for when you're curling the hair of children.
BurnStop was designed by celebrity stylist Masood Max and is endorsed by TV host and beauty expert Shae Wilber.
The cost of BurnStop is $14.95 and the shipping is FREE!
Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page: tryburnstop.com
For a limited time, with your purchase, you will receive the Maxius wet hair detangling brush and their special on-demand conditioner for extra body and shine.
There is a limited time double offer available so you can receive two for the price of one. You'll only have to pay an additional shipping fee for the second item.
TV host and beauty expert Shae Wilber endorses the BurnStop Face and Hair Protector and shows users how to use the device in the official infomercial.
It was created by top celebrity hairstylist Masood Max who has won "Best Styling Tool of the Year" and "Best Hair Product of the Year". He invented this tool to protect his own two daughters from being burned while their hair is being curled.
Having the sleeve over top of the curling iron will ensure that less heat is radiating towards your skin.
When you go to purchase the BurnStop Face & Hair Protector it is not possible to buy more than one size at a time. If you want to purchase multiple sizes you'll have to make more than one order or call customer service to process them together.
The bonus double offer, while generous, is only valid on the same size. If you purchase a sleeve to fit a 1" curling iron, the second one cannot be to fit a 1.5" curling iron; it will also be to fit a 1" curling iron. The only time this will be useful is if you're sharing your order with a friend or giving the second one as a gift.
Shipping is available throughout the US, including Alaska and Hawaii. It is also offered to Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Guam, but there is a hefty surcharge for orders outside the 48 contiguous states.
PO boxes and APO addresses are accepted, but there is no mention of shipping to Canada or internationally.
The smallest size for the BurnStop is 0.75" but because this sleeve will be placed ontop of the curling iron it will actually make your curls slightly larger.
The official infomercial shows the sleeve being used on a curling iron next to another curling iron that doesn't have one on it. Both curling irons touch metal and leave a mark, but the curling iron with BurnStop on top leaves a shorter mark.
Although both curling irons had the same effect on the metal, the infomercial claim BurnStop left less of a mark. This is because the tip of the curling iron with the BurnStop sleeve on it wasn't touching the metal.
You will receive free shipping and processing within the 48 contiguous states.
If you aren't satisfied with the results from your BurnStop Face and Hair Protector you can return it within 90 days of purchase for a full refund (less shipping and handling).
BurnStop can be purchased in four different sizes for all your curling needs. The sleeves will fit a 0.75", 1", 1.25" or 1.5" curling iron.
The protection sleeve slips over your favorite curling iron to help protect your forehead, ears, neck, and fingers from accidental burns.
BurnStop fits all curling irons including professional long-styling barrels. No need to worry that the sleeve won't fit on your favorite curling iron!
It is guaranteed to not melt or burn so that you can feel safe using it.
BurnStop is advertised as an accessory that will stop all accidental burns from happening while curling your hair. While it does create a barrier between the 450-degree heat from the curling iron and your hair, it won't completely stop burns. The curling iron is still very hot; hot enough to curl hair.
It appears that if you touch your skin the burns will be less severe with than if your skin is placed directly on the curling iron.
Before starting, prepare your hair to be curled by spraying it with a heat protector and/or styling spray.
While you're heating your curling iron you can section off different pieces of hair to speed up the curling process.
Slide on the protector sleeve by placing it on the tip of the wand and then gently and carefully tapping it down. Make sure the sleeve is completely covering the curling iron and secure.
With BurnStop helping to protect your skin, you can now begin curling your hair. For smaller, tight curls place the wand in a vertical position. Looser, more wavy curls, can be achieved by placing the wand in a horizontal position.
When you've finished curling your hair and are happy with the results don't forget to unplug the curling iron and place it in a safe area while it cools down. Your sleeve can be removed once the curling iron is cool.
If you have more than one size curling iron at home, use the smaller size to make sure you get exactly what you want. The sleeve will make your curls slightly larger so if you want 1.5" curls it will be better to use a 1.25" curling iron with BurnStop attached.
Use this size for the look of super tight curls.
This is the most universally flattering size that can create multiple looks from ringlets to waves.
This size is great for messy or loose wave curls.
For textbook loose and voluminous curls the 1.5" size will be perfect.
