Bullet Stream is a small metal device that's been created to enable water to flow out of virtually any faucet in any direction, instead of just downward. Each V-shaped attachment has been designed to twist onto almost any faucet in a kitchen, a bathroom, or another room of your home, and swivels a full 360 degrees. There are two modes for you to choose from after you've turned your faucet on, including one that dispenses water gently and another that emits it more powerfully.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Attach to Faucet

First, attach your Bullet Stream to a faucet of your choice by twisting the smaller end (the one that won't emit water) into the original spout of that faucet. To do so properly, you must twist it to the right, as opposed to the left.

  2. Turn Faucet on

Once your attachment is securely connected to your faucet, turn your faucet on as you normally would, and watch the water pour out. If your faucet has hot and cold options, you can also use these in the same way you would normally.

  3. Switch Modes (optional)

If you want a more powerful spray than your faucet is currently giving you, twist the top of your Bullet Stream's spigot to the right to give yourself that more powerful spray. This type of spray may come in handy if you need to blast away stubborn dirt from the inside of your sink or another small object that you're washing. To get a gentle delivery of water back again, if the powerful spray seems like too much, just twist the top of the spigot back to the left.

  4. Adjust Angle (optional)

Aside from adjusting the spraying mode of your faucet, you can also use this attachment to adjust the angle your faucet's pointing in as it emits water. The attachment's spigot will swivel a full circle (360 degrees), and you can use your hand to point it to the left, to the right, upward, or downward. Adjusting the angle can be done on an ongoing basis, as it'll only take a couple of seconds, at most.

Features

  • Fits Almost All Faucets

This attachment has been designed to screw into the vast majority of faucet spouts, so unless your faucet is much smaller or larger than average, or has a strange shape, it should screw into yours. Furthermore, each one comes in a shade of silver, so it'll match most faucets that you might decide to attach it to.

  • Highly Compact

Each Bullet Stream is no more than an inch wide and a couple of inches tall. That means you'll be able to transport it from room to room in your home, if necessary, and even outside your home if you choose. You also won't need any tools to attach this device to any faucet, so you won't have to use up space in your hands or vehicle by carrying those around.

  • Air Flow Regulator

An airflow regulator is built into each device, and this will mix water with air inside the spigot before it comes out. This mixing process will help you cut back on the amount of water that you waste by up to 50 percent. Therefore, if you often wash things in your sink with warm or hot water, you may find that your hot water bills decrease once you start using this device.

Positive Points

  • Reduces Mess

If you try to wash makeup, shaving cream, or anything else off your face at a small sink with a faucet that only directs water downward, you may have to splash water on your face. This, in turn, may result in your counter or even your bathroom floor becoming soaked with water. If you attach a Bullet Stream device to your faucet, though, you'll be able to aim its water flow directly at your face and make less of a mess.

  • Fun for Kids

The water that flows out of a faucet with one of these attachments resembles water that flows out of a fountain, so kids may find the sink more fun to use than they otherwise would. That means they may be more likely to brush their teeth and wash their faces as often as they should. They might also enjoy aiming the attachment's spigot directly at their mouth and taking a cold drink when thirsty, and adults can do this, too.

  • Can Help You Fill Containers

Attempting to fill or wash out a large container at a small sink with a faucet that sends water in one direction can be a trial, but your Bullet Stream will help you out here. You'll just need to position the container at one edge of your sink, aim the attachment's spigot at it, and fill. Following the fill, you can dump the water if you're rinsing a container out, or leave it all in there if your aim was to fill it for another activity.

Negative Points

  • Could Break Without Care

While the top and bottom of each Bullet Stream faucet attachment look quite sturdy, the V-shaped piece in the middle looks fairly delicate. If you or anyone else who uses your sink were to pull on it too aggressively while adjusting the attachment's angle, the V-shaped piece could break. Even if you were to repair it with a hot glue gun, the faucet attachment may not be as durable after that. Consequently, if you've got kids in your home who may not be careful with the attachment, you'll have to give them detailed warnings or forgo using it.

Save Time

If your sink won't accommodate the size of a large container that you need to fill, or a large appliance (such as a humidifier) that needs to be filled, you could use a garden hose. However, setting up a garden hose outdoors could take up to a half-hour, and you'd have to lug the container or appliance out into your yard in order to fill it up. Alternatively, if you were to attach a Bullet Stream to an indoor sink's ordinary faucet, you'd be able to use its fountain-like spray to allow yourself to fill large items without taking them outside. As opposed to a half-hour, going this route may only take you a few minutes. You'd also be able to just walk away from the job, instead of taking a couple more minutes to coil up a heavy hose.

Save Money

People who aren't satisfied with having their faucet dispense water in a downward direction only might opt to have a plumber come in and install an entirely new, multi-directional faucet. By attaching a Bullet Stream to an ordinary faucet's spout, though, you'll be able to give yourself a multi-directional faucet without having to obtain all-new parts from a store and hire a professional.
