Booty Belt is a fitness device designed specifically for women that will work all three major muscles within your gluteus maximus ( more simply, your bottom ) in order to tighten and tone your butt. Each belt comes with resistance bands in three different levels, so you can customize your workout for your fitness level and / or the amount of energy you have on a given day. The belt and bands together are portable, so you'll be able to use them almost anywhere.
Regardless of what resistance level you choose, using the Booty Belt will exercise your butt muscles, enabling your butt to become firmer and perkier. However, using the device to do exercises will also burn calories, so even as you build more muscle, you'll likely shed enough fat that you'll shrink your butt instead of enlarging it. Some of the exercises that you can do with this device will also work your abdominals and quads, thereby toning and most likely slimming those areas, too.
Before you put your belt on, be sure that the resistance bands that you want to use are attached to it. Next, wrap the belt around your natural waist or just below ( but no lower than the hips ), and use the Velcro to fasten it. If you need help with any of this, consult your instructional DVD and / or brochure. The belt should be tight enough that it won't fall off as you move, but not so tight that you feel uncomfortable.
Making sure that the resistance bands are hanging behind you instead of in front, move to a kneeling position so you can wrap each band around the bottom of one of your sneakers. Be sure to use the attached Velcro to fasten them there. When you're done this, the bands should be running along your backside, from your waist down to your toes. Once again, if you need a visual or any other help, take a look at your instructional materials.
Once you're sure that you're wearing your belt correctly, it'll be time to start exercising. To do so, you can either kneel on all fours or sit on your bottom, as you'll find exercises to do in each position within your instructional material. If you decide to start with kneeling, you may want to slide the small pad included with each belt under your knees for support.
The Booty Belt comes in four different sizes, ranging from extra-small to extra-large, and will comfortably fit women with waists between 23 and 46 inches. If your waist is a little smaller or larger than that, you may still be able to use one. You just may find the belt a little too loose or too tight, and may not be able to arrive at an ideal fit.
You can choose to use your belt at either a beginner, intermediate or advanced level. People who've never exercised before or haven't in a long time might want to start with the beginner level, while users who are already athletes might be fine with the advanced level. To change levels, all you'll need to do is change the two resistance bands that must be attached to the back of your belt for effective and proper use.
Each Booty Belt set is lightweight and portable, so you'll be able to take yours with you almost anywhere. That means you'll seldom miss a workout unless you skip it voluntarily. While each belt comes with a black tote bag that can be used to carry it, it'll fit in most other carrying cases, including purses that are on the larger side.
While you can do any exercises you want to with your belt, your instructional material will outline six that will help you get started. These include leg lifts, flutter kicks, abdominal twists, leg presses, alternating leg presses, and in and outs. Along with the bottom, the first three exercises work the abs and the fourth and fifth work the quads. The last exercise works the outer hips and inner thighs in addition to the butt.
If you've recently had a child, this belt will help you burn calories to shed fat, in addition to working your butt, abs and upper legs so you look toned again. You can even do your workouts in the comfort of your living room while your baby sits in their crib or high chair beside you.
The Booty Belt is an excellent device for retired athletes who want to stay in shape or current athletes who want to keep their shape during the off-season. If you're an athlete, you'll probably find yourself capable of doing the exercises at an advanced level, but if you're conserving energy for your sport, you could select the beginner resistance bands instead.
Although you may need to wait a month to see a great deal of change in your bottom, you may see some results almost instantly, even after one workout. To maximize your results, it's best to use your belt at least three to five times a week for at least five minutes at a time.
